    WIP-M1911 A1 v0.9

    Hi, i've changed the damage value from 0.9 to 0.85 that seems to me, a more aceptable .45 ACP damage value; letting the 0.8 for the .40S&W or the .45 ACP SD, the 0.9 for the .44 Magnum, .357 or the .50 & the damage 1, for the .50 Beowulf. I've try to fix myself the Shadow LOD without success, following the instructions on another thread of this forum. I think that that may be the bigger bug in the weapon rightnow, i'll keep looking for help to fix it, and then release the v1.0 of the gun with the new damage level and with the Shadow LOD fixed. I hope to fix it as soon as possible. Let's C ya

    Hi, thanks for host the gun. Flat, sorry but im not a modeler and i play without shadows, so i didn't noticed the shadow bug; as im not a modeler... i doubt that the shadow bug will ever be fixed. Im not a sounds editor and i never edited any sound file, so that sound file will remain the same. But thanks for report the bugs, if you find more things that we did wrong... don't stop to inform us. We love to know how dumb we're (at least me). Let's C ya

    WIP-M1911 A1 v0.9

    Hi, thanks Medicus, but you should thank it better to those named in the readme, i just putted the tag and took it for the OFP, others were who did the hard job, now for the ArmA was Martin BM who did the whole importing and model improvement. I need to know how fix that thing with the spitted to the hiperspace shells; im also thinking in low the damage; this is a .45 ACP, the BIS B92FS do 0.7 while this one is 1 shot 1 kill, if we gonna shoot most of the times vs OPFOR units with a vest, they should stand more than one single shot. I think that 0.8 or 0.85 or even 0.87... will be a more aceptable damage level for a .45 ACP letting higher values there for .44's .357's or .50 & .50 Beowulf. Let's C ya P.S: Any mirror will be apreciated.

WIP-M1911 A1: Hi, i'll like to bring back my wip_m1911 from the OFP to the ArmA, but... like always... i have to ask for help to do all the hard work needed, config, retouch model, UV mapping too maybe and anims. This great looking model was borroed to me by King Hommer, some CS man did the textures, and the muzzle flash 3D model & texture were made by Cassieg & Sole. 100% mine is just the tag (wip) i hope to find soon the required help to bring this M1911 to the ArmA players.     WIP-M1911 A1

    Hi, the gun is ready to use in game, but we've found a few bugs that we'll try to correct; the empty shells are spitted almost vertical instead in right diagonal, they don't stay in the ground like in the OFP... but i guess that we can live without that... and we've to remove a thing that shouldn't be there. Bug 1: Also... we've to do a working inventory picture, the one that i did, doesn't show up in the inventory or in an ammo box. Bug 2: Once that we fix this small things, i'll release the gun to the public, so the other players can enjoy a M1911-A1. Let's C ya

    my Arma gun pack

    Hi, i'll like to know how did you opened the BIS weapons models in the O2, because i miss alot a M16A4 Aimpoint and M16A4-M203 Aimpoint. If i could open with the Eliteness 2.14 the original BIS Weapons... i'll think in do again a camoed M4's or at least those two M16A4 variants, fully BIS ammo class compatible and maybe Johnn could update his USMC 1.3 with the uncamoed versions while i work in the woodland and desert camoed versions.     How to do a inv pic???

    Hi, the best way to do a inventory pic of a weapon or object, is: -Take a screenshot in the External Viewer (of the new O2). -Make a .tga of that screenshot in the Photoshop. -Use the Paint Bucket tool (in the photoshop aka PS) for paint in black the perimeter of the object. -Create a new Empty Pic (256x128 pixels or it's multiples) and cut the .tga of the objects and resize it to fit into the new pic. - Select the perimeter of the object (the black area) and select: Invert Selection. Then save that selection as: Alpha Channel. -Save that as: whatever.tga . Then take the TextView 2 and convert it to .paa (the .pac file don't accept selections that don't be the full image as Alpha Channel). -Do the config and prey for that it works. I think that that's the right method, or that's how i did it for the OFP unless the config part; prey wont help me to write a working config. I hope that this serves you. Let's C ya

    Hi, i think that this Minigun looks better... was made by some CS man, but i think that's closer to the real ones than the BIS M134 or your own. Anyway... i don't know how to make the barrels roll as they should, maybe if not in the UH60-MG as some said... it may be some clue in the M163 Vulcan config... but i don't know. Let's C ya
  15. Hi, i think that the doors shoud have the same stripes colour, with 3 car paint could be well recreated; it need better rims and the stripes shouldn't have any kind of shadow in de edges, it's a cops car, not a lowrider or show car. But it don't look so bad to me. Let's C ya
  16. Hi, i was playing to a Bezerk map and then each time that i was killed (aparently by no one; even when i seen the bullets rain on me). I get this text message and then... a kind of clickable "option" in the center of the screen that said: What the fuck this means?, im beeing tracked while i play...?, now someone have my original ArmA DVD key...?, can i keep enjoying the ArmA (that i've paid for) online...? or do i've to drop it to the trash?. What is this and what can we do (those who paid for the ArmA) do?. Now we're hostages of a bunch of hackers that try to ruin our online game...? do we've some way of counter attack...? will BIS offer us they're support as customers that we are...?. Or should we send back to BIS the ArmA DVD in the box and ask 'em for give us back our money?. Let's C ya

Hi, i was playing a damn Evolution 3.0 in the Def-Con spanish server and a hacker entered, began to team kill in the base and in some objectives, plus create AI's and more things in the base that lagged the game. I called him (the hacker) homosexual... and suddenly... a text message appeared like in the chat, saying: Charles Wipman has been added to the scum sucking cheating groups Server List. What that means?, that now i wont be able of enter and play in many servers because i called "homosexual" to a damn hacker!?, that was team killing the players in the base before start to create Civilian AI's that lagged the game?. I hope that it don't... . Let's C ya

    Hi, as i've said, Wicka Woo... that M1911 looks as good because the Counter Strike men that did it. They did the model and they did the textures too; i took it from King Hommer & his OFP weapons pack, the M1911 ("my", M1911) was made for the OFP. And King Hommer allowed me to take it, config, model and textures. Mine, 100% mine... is just the tag: wip_ and the publicity that so many warning levels critics and aplauses has costed me. It has my name, but we've to thank it to the CS dudes that did it. Let's C ya

That lasts for: Charles Wipman = Me (yar favourite rebel) so beware with how you use the abreviation of Work In Progress, because sometimes depending on the phrase where it's used... can resoult in a painfull mistake.     Hi, sadly i don't know how the specular maps work, i never learnt to map or remap a texture in the O2, im a FNG or a crippled (what's the same...) with the configs etc etc, i can't help, sorry. Let's C ya
