    Hi i also get that black edges thing on the distance, i think that the alpha channel has turned black for some reason, may be the compresion tipe of the pass to .tga to .paa but i can't ensure this since im a townfolk so i may be wrong, but; it runs as good as it did it before (v1.1) and looks great and enhances the realistic look of this map, Avgani V1.2 it's a jewel.     Hi, i'll like to hear an interview with Nephilim or with Dslyecxi, with Neph about how she've reach that 2D/3D artist and what's the status of her AK74M's and possible ArmA/ArmA2 projects; and with Dslyecxi... about his site, how he obtained that tact knowledge and his role in the ACE mod, expectations that the players could hold about the mod and a comprenhensive list of the features of the ACE mod that already work, improvements over the basic engine, performance and MP performance.     Arma feedback thread - based on 1.14

    Hi, i get this kind of graphic errors, textures flickering and going from very low to high (the standard setting): I also get very commonly this kind of graphic error that appears as a white screen and screws up the text messages and the radio commands, just after turn white or sometimes black... the entire screen: The Map With That Bug. If you hit: ALT+TAB... and then go back to ArmA, it seems to get fixed, but then is when the previous bug appears and everything looks as in Very Low or worst; i closed the ArmA by the normal procedure and then after like 10 to 15secs in the desktop... the entire screen turned black, the HD light turned On a few times on the computer... and then nothing... 3 damn minutes of waiting for if my computer could recover itself from this crap but "we haden't luck". I had to do a manual reset before punch again the keyboard. Any idea?. Let's C ya

    Hi, i've noticed a small bug on the Woodland Corpsman's backpack; seems that when you're a bit far away (like in the 3rd or 4th LOD) the backpack looks as weirdly enlarged a bit further than the unit's feet, i don't know if this is due to the (woodland) replacement that i use or if it's like that in the Corpsman itself for some reason, i've seen it in MP when one of our medics was gunned down and he fallen with the face to the ground, so the backpack was on top of the body count.     Hi, could we see again the Marder A3 released as stand alone some day?, i'll like to play with it again and sure that many other players too; also... the RACS will love to burn theyr shitty M113's A3 in favour of some Marders, but i think that there's a inutile "addons request threat" aka loose your time in a foreign language...     Red's Fix v1.2

    Hi, as far as i know.. the AH-6/MH-6 and MI-17 are not bullet proof, and the HMMWV's glasses are only BP (= Bullet Proof) up to a 7.62x51mm caliber or similar bullets, while the AH/MH-6 & MI-17 glasses are not. What i don't know is if they can stop a few 5.56x45mm rounds, but i'll swear that they can't. Let's C ya

    Project RACS

    Hi, the RACS needs too cargo choppers, and one could be the MMP's OFP Sikorsky CH-37 Mojave, from Nam i think, i doubt that it had seen the 80's... but if im not wrong, the MMP's model used a very ArmA's compatible construction way, 3 large textures or so and a few ones for the cockpit's interior. "Shouldn't be that hard" to pass it to the ArmA and make the Specular Maps, with a cargo script that allows to transport a land rover and a 8 men team, will really serve for the RACS and will bring back one of the best air addons made for the OFP; i'll like to see it flying again, and the army's green version should be that hard to paint in the RACS colours, it's just a simple PS playing with the CTRL+B.     Hi, for me as player the OFP's interiors with a tweak or two will be enough or better than don't have any driver's interior on the BMP-2, M1A1, T72, ZSU-23/24; is very annoying to don't have any interior and i'll preffer OFP texture quality than nothing; as player. Let's C ya
  11. Hi, the best tool that i know for pack/unpack .pbo's and also edit .bin files (like configs or that) is the: Voyager's PBOview 1.1 . Which is an amazing tool that saved my life due to how simple it's of use and how well it works, so i don't have to make 3.000 turns as with the Keg's (my dear amish "friend") tools which requires knowledge and luck; things that the townfolks like me, don't have in excess. Hi, i've noticed that the Desert SF's seem to show the BIS NVG's at some distance (3rd or 4th LOD) missplaced to the left and above the head height at some distance, i think that was the SF Medic(H) the one that i sow displaying this bug, i don't know about the others, i've just seen it right now, and they don't seem to throw nades too but they can put satchels... (using the orders on the AI) so i don't know, i just say what i've seen for if it helps. Let's C ya

    Hi, i'll also check or review the wounds on the PMC's too, the v1.14 wounds seem to look better than the custom ones that you've made. At least for me... Here it's a comparison: To me the wounds (from the v1.14) that the Jonn's USMC use, look better; but it's just a personal opinion, i think that that will improve theyr shape once dead. Let's C ya

    Hi, i've seen that the PMC5 don't have the face the face cover in the 2nd or 3rd LOD, which ruins his black camo; i don't know if the rest of the PMC's have the same issue with the face cover or not. Let's C ya

    Hi, i personaly find the F16 "too expensive" for a place like Sahrani or South Sahrani; but it looks good, it flyes good and it shoots good so for me... it's a great addon; even when i haven't tested it very much too, but i like it. For the Super Etendart... i hate 'em, so that trash will never touch my HD no matters how well do it be made. But... if someone here will take the time of make a über pimp Sandy (A1 Skyrider) that's something that i'll test and use almost every time that i'll open up the ArmA's editor for sure. I think that will fit better in the budget of such small place as South Sahrani and will cover well all the required roles unless the offshore CAP missions, but for ACR and CAS will be the perfect plane.     Pale custom faces on ATI Cards?

    Hi, as far as i know the only "fix" for the ATI bug with the custom faces is to make/put in those custom faces into a .pbo as .paa so you'll have to make your own custom faces pack and share it with the people because only you will see the faces in that pack and for the others your face/arms will look as untextured... so then you'll be a magnet of the bullets of the OPFOR players, which is very bad but is the only way (make your own custom faces pack and share it with the public) that i know for aboid as much as possible that stupid bug.     Hi, i've noticed that the AI PMC's display/use the NVG's when they try to scan for targets with the binoculars, also the radio pocket texture should have a much more closer colour to the vest instead use the current texture that uses rightnow. They also have GP25 nades on the inventary that i'll remove and they don't seem to have the Throw and Put "weapons" because they don't use the hand grenades. And now a few sugestions... if they were my units, i'll had rearmed 'em or some of 'em with G36K for the standard (no googles but protec) unit, G36C for the CQB (googles On and protec) unit, M240B of the cap and com-tact unit and a pimp SVD for the marksman unit. I'll also had banked the AT4/RPG proxy to dodge to get the sight obscured when looking arround in free mode and to make the units look more real or just better when they're equiped with such weapons.     Hi, the UMP's don't have magazine pics so that gives an error, and the FN-P90's (5.7x28mm) share the sound with the UPM's (.45ACP) thing this that i found... well... you know what i'll say. I also think that the UV mapping it's too strong, make 'em look weird even when the models look great and the textures look very good. Let's C ya

    Hi, yeah i get it, the problem is that im too lazy and asshole as for edit the laser beam texture to make a green one (the real daytime laser beam of the AN-PEQ2) i haven't managed yet myself to make a half transparent (working) .paa for the addons and we're talking about from the OFP times... so everyone that haves the PS have the right to call me: sucker. For make this right, what i should do will be: - Add green (day time) laser beam. - Keep the red (night time) laser beam. - Edit the material properties of booth laser beams to: Shine. - Make (somehow) booth lasers switchable/accessable from the actions menu to the player. That's what i should do to make it right; i know the final task but im not that sure on how which or how the steps are to reach the final point of this tasks/objectives; and that's why we've what we got rightnow, that it's better than nothing (to me) but still very far away from "be perfect" assuming that this is a game and nothing will work as it does in the real life, we could get closer, but i just don't really know how to get as closer to that edge as i should put this weapons to.   23. Hi, i think that the interior "LOD" is not low, that's a Trabant... is "like that"; and voluminous wheels!? my God... don't the Trabant came with 11" wheels? i wouldn't call "that" voluminous. In fact... if someone give me a Trabant, i 1St will kill the heretic who dares to offend me with "such pressent" and then i'll burn it's body inside the Trabant for free the world of booth things; the offense and the offender. Hi, the red (cockpit) light is not visible from outside and the missiles don't dissapear after fire 'em, sometimes they don't follow the target for some reason and are shoted straight by the gunner for some reason, and the gun is as inaccurate as in the BIS choppers = 85%. Other than that... the textures are really pimp and the animated radar screen detail is an über pimp touch that brings back the DKM addons to my memory; even when i've seen junkies "scanning targets..." much much more faster than that radar screen. Very pimp addon. Let's C ya
