  1. Hi, seems that all the BIS grenade launchers AGS and Mk.19 don't engage armoured targets, must be a thing related to the grenade launcher class; they don't do it as static or movile vehicle. So i don't think that there's nothing that can be done to fix that. Let's C ya

Hi, very pimp addon, but i've found a pair of thing that may need an improvement, one it's the wheels marks; they don't match that well, the drawing shape and the cuantity of dirt between the drawing; and the other it's the rear door, that only have marked the place where it gets opened and not the borders of the door; so on certain angles... you don't see it. Add a banked effect to the back door perimeter and it'll look much better; also if you could add more scratches to the doors edges and the entire vehicle and also some boot print over the hood and roof... that'll look just great, i think. But the Tigr look really pimp rightnow: Let's C ya

  5. Hi, you will have to move and shot and then move again, if you've 2 APC's and enough AT wepons; if you've two MBTs... then your best chance it's to call Arty CAS, or just flank the last MBT and try to catch him by the back, moving, shot and moving again. Let's C ya

    Hi, a better accuracy can be made just with changing a number in the config, for that specific model; reducing it's dispersion and i think that also the recoil. Im very glad to see than now the units hold the grenade launcher equiped weapon by the grenade launcher, it's sad that they don't hold the M203/GP25 grip if you switch to the grenade launcher... but well, could be possible... i don't know. What worryes me the most about how the units hold the heapons is if they will at last be able of hold a rifle or classic shotgun (M1A Scout, R870) properly and if they'll be able of hold weapons like the L85A2, a Steyr AUG, a Groza and that kind of weapons; but over all, the M1A Scout style weapons. Change the weapons accuracy it's something that must be made in the config. Let's C ya

    SFP5: Distant Conflict

    Hi, i don't use the ACE mod, so im also for the stand alone SFP5, i could say more... im not interested in the not stand alone version. Now more bugs on the stand alone version... the AK-5C equiped by the Northern Battle Group soldiers, it's the only weapon that shots more to the right than to the left between all the ones that i've try: The Reservist with the M-45 SMG have a cap under the helmet, here they'll remove that cap (and the helmet) slapping you until booth will fall to the ground, but here they allow you (asking first) to wear a Jeep Cap under the helmet in what we call "cold days": The not showing up names in the editor: And the wounds (i felt very bad shooting down a swedish soldier): The wounds look like more like ketchup to me than blood; i think that the v1.14 BIS blood textures will look better than those, and as you can see... there's no blood on the vest, what makes me think that's a huge Tampax M.O.L.L.E.-II made vest instead a cordura vest, but well... "i could be wrong..." >>;-) that's all what i've found yet into the stand alone SFP5 version. Let's C ya

    Hi, i've found a "few" bugs, in the editor using the spanish language many of the vehicles display names are not shown in booth air and land units; i didn't try yet the naval things and i only tryed a bit the modern stuff. This is what i get after install the Mod using the QG + Arma Effects 1.9 + my own replacement Mod folder, and load the South Sahrani island in the editor and then exit (without put a single unit in the map): Error Message: And this a bug that i found in the captive soldier: Seems that all the (modern) units use the .rvmat from the BIS pilot for the BDU and the standard unit .rvmat for the helmet; that don't have the band arround or the holes where put the camo that you could find. Also, seems that the .rvmat it's too strong in all the AK5s, that for some reason... everything (AK5s and ground vehicles) shot more to the left than to the center of the sights. The Special Forces group (tropical) seem to have a bug with the boonie hat shadow, and well... you've seen the unfinnished Glock and it's shadow right?. Let's C ya

Hi, may be better if you mount entirely black tyres on that loathing Trabant instead those black/white tyres, that are more expensive, stand out much more and make the über uggly, odious and discussting Trabant look like even more shamefull and bad to the entire automovile industry. But the things as they're; that Trabant look very well done and looks well to me (meaning that it's clearly a Trabant, i hate those "cars") as loathing cars... an Austin Morris, a Renault R8 (not the Gordini), a Mini Cooper or even a Seat 850 are also cars that make me ill; ain't got nothing personal againist your model, the model looks good, it's what it is.     Armor Warfare

    Hi, what's more shamefull for me, it's that im sure that (again) we can't use the APC/IFV hatches and shot from the cargo possition on any vehicle; cars, light armoured vehicles, helicopters or what ever. That's something that we can do in arcade games like the BF2 but that we can't do in what should be a more serious game that try to be more than an arcade, that's a true shame; not only the leak of weapons systems that work in a more closer way to the reality than what we already had in the OFP eight years ago, or in the ArmA two years ago. Thant's my main complain about the way that the vehicles work. Let's C ya

Hi, i want to play in public servers; but with the default ArmA units i'll preffer to chop off my hands before do so, no one out there uses the addons (not Mods) that i like so im doomed, i hate the Warfare mission, it's in fact very very boring as yes, you don't use to see anyone until the BIS marksman AI shots you in between the eyes with an AK-74 or the PKM. So... what i use to play it's Evolutions where you've lots of people to kill, some goals and a small/medium chance to fall in a server where some people forget about the Rambo thing and decide to cooperate and even work as a unit; there has been years, from the last time that i played a good coop. And was with the OFP. I haven't played a single good coop with the ArmA and that sucks, but that's why we've a missions editor... (without a commands refference...) to make our own missions and upload 'em to ArmA related sites and hope that some public server add it to the server missions list. I don't want to join to a Klan for have a chance of play a good coop. Let's C ya

Hi, in the ArmA a great place with zero lag for CTFs, good performance for a small/medium size missions with scripts, units, triggers, patrols and where place alive and static vehicles and structures... it's Antigua. Will be much better if that island had been also given as a single island like the South Sahrani island or something like that. Isn't too large for a not that big computer even playing with everything set on high or above, so i guess... that it shouldn't be that hard to swallow for a MP server for between 15 to 25 players; that's the main problem that i found, the true imposibility of have a true structure at your back; arty.. cas.. evac.. medevac.. and all that, but well, that's for another place. The Antigua island at the NNE of Sahrani in the ArmA, it's a good place for have a bit fun even on not that good computers. Let's C ya

Hi, Shadow, i was reffering as the man says to the eye candy part, i don't ask for miracles to the "new" ArmA 2 engine; just to see the green tinted glass, that's all; i think that it'll make me happy enough and many others too that will also miss that in all the aircraft. If they could do the glasses work like that with the ArmA 2 engine it'll be really great, but i just ask at least for the eye candy; nothing more. Let's C ya

Hi, as you can clearly see in the next photo, the UH-1Y Venom have green tinted glasses on top of the cokpit, and thats something that i don't see on the in game videos/screenshots of the ArmA 2 one. - UH-1Y Venom. Same goes for the MH-60S (aka S-70A Knighthawk), the MV-22B Osprey and even the KC-130 Hercules, 'em all have green tinted glasses on top of the cockpit in real life, but, for some reason... they don't seem to have 'em in the ArmA 2 same than in the ArmA. I'll like to see that change in the ArmA 2. Let's C ya
  18. Hi, what will add balance, will be a Kobra sighted AKS74 and an APS instead a Makarov; also, add the ArmA 2 sounds to the A-10 and other vehicles will be perfect; will make us to keep playing this game and who knows if it'll atract a few more before the release. Let's C ya

Hi, didn't anyone noticed that the hmmwv exhaust it's in the wrong side? or that the hmmwv don't have the snorkel on the hood?, also seems that rightnow the M249 that everyone is equiped with, it's the short barreled one, not the one with the Minimi barrel's lenght; i've seen the A-10 there, i don't know how the real ones sound but i like how this ones sound in comparison with the ones in ArmA, they'll scare me if im on the ground in case that they're able of engage on foot OPFOR, but i hope to see the AV-8BII++ wich have their own FLIR and use to carry mavericks. I've also seen that the weed under the UH-1Y isn't affected by the rotor movement; and that unarmed observer in the airport's tower makes me await for the worst... that silly looking standing animation have less life than tut-ank-amon. But i like much more the sprinting animations, they're much better than the ArmA ones, and judging by the previous videos... i think that we may see many improvements in the anims field. I'll drink a bit less to await for the ArmA2. Let's C ya *Edit: I also have forget to complain about the absence of the green upper glasses in the UH-1Y, the UH-60S and the KC-130. Also, shouldn't the F-35B have a slight golden tone in the damn cockpit glass...?.

Hi, i don't know how the ArmA2 islands/terrain may be in extension, but i hope that they be very big, at least big enough as for need to use choppers for Long Ranger Patrol deploys, CSAR etc.. we really can't blame BIS for make games up to the nowadays computer standards. If our machine is not good enough, then... it's not good enough. But if they say that for run smooth and well (1024 or above) and then it doesn't do it... we could blame 'em for that. Anyways... what most lags in MP it's the number of units and vehicles plus the very scripted missions and if the mission is constantly checking for changes (big or small) in the battlefield; reducing the units number, the vehicles number and the Area of Operations (perimeter) should reduce the lag in a very noticeable way, so... we can't really blame BIS if we are poor to buy a computer up to the high nowadays standards. Please BIS, add a single small island for CTFs and that and make the campaign and common islands big as Australia or Texas. Let's C ya

    Hi, i don't remember the name right now, but there was a man back in the OFP days, that remade with alot of quality the Cessna's & OH-58 textures among other vehicles with a quite good percentage of success; Salesman may be? or something like that?, they were very good for the OFP standards, i don't know how well they may look nowadays in the ArmA with the spec maps and all that.     Hi, i don't know where to write this, so i gonna do it here; will be pimp if were possible to recreate somehow things like floodings and forest fires, that are not that rare in some war zones as the weather allows this to happen and there really isn't anyone there "brave" enough to go out under the war conditions to stop or fix the damage of this kind of things. And making floods or forest fires to have an effect on the mission; change the route of advance, patrol or mission. And even forcing you to call in the engineers to work a bit instead be there up their tanks or in the back of their trucks smoking weed, or drinking beer and "reading" porno magazines doing what they use to do most of the time: Nothing. So call the engineers from time to time to help the locals to improve their current live conditions or just to make the engineers work while you keep walking day after day and you only see a damn APC back in the base; with an empty San Miguel on the roof left there by an engineer or something worst; a sailor.
