Hi, the radio at the right of the BRDM-2 driver's seat show some weird shadow problems, as if it had flicker or noise or something. There's also a small hole in the MI8-MTV (aka MI-17) co-pilot door, from where if you look over the your right shoulder, you can see the sky. If they gonna use the same vehicle models in the ArmA2... i hope that they fix this because i doubt that they do it with the ArmA. Let's C ya

Arming distance on grenades and rockets

Hi, i'll like too to see a working arming distance for the grenade launchers, it's very sad and silly to fail a mission due to an unwanted mouse click; and in the real life, you see the objective, move the rifle to "sincronize" the target location with the distance mark in the range marker of the launcher and then shot. It works like this with the rifle mortars (aka bullets catcher cucumber) or the HK79A grenade launcher, you always, see the objective; and the weapon never obscures the target. The Switzerland Mod weapons are very pimp and have very good animations. Let's C ya -
Hi, the other day i fired +9 UAZ mounted AGS30 rounds to a static AGS30 at like 150m to 180m, and seems that this don't had any effect on the static AGS30 gunner; this was in MP. The static AGS30 keept shooting to a team mate that was hiden behind some blown off tanks, and after shot him right in the back with +5 of those those between 9 to 11 AGS30 rounds, once the smoke faded out... i stepped down the stolen UAZ-AGS30 & killed the gunner with a single head shot of my M4A1-M68. I think that this may need a revision. Let's C ya

Hi, block the user's key access while adquiring/operating the Jav's console, and allow the player to navigate by the jav's controls using the arrow keys and some combo of the insert, del, start, end, pag up and page down sumed to a few action menu options could be a pimp choice in my opinion; but i've never touched myself a Javelin's console, so i don't know if that will be enough if it were even possible. Other good choice (in my opinion) may be to use under this conditions the numeric pad. The video looks very pimp, i like it. Let's C ya

Hi, about the KA-52... i wish that they had a camo scheme, i doubt that in the case of send 'em into the field, they'll do it painted in black; so a camo like this will be pimp: KA-52 Alligator. Let's C ya

Hi, i'll like to see that the vegetation and busted/broken down trees block the AI view and if were possible... also see how the broken trees serve as cover deflecting the bullets or changing it's trayectory as they pierce through the fallen/broken tree body; rightnow in the ArmA... the AI have an advantage because of this don't happens, and it's unfair. Hi, i think that allow the JIP for some kind of MP missions, like the Warfare missions, the EVO style, Domination, CTFs and DM will be good; but in more serious (coops focused on the realism and squad tactics) there should be an option to disable the JIP, that's a big impediment for developt a strategy between all the players etc. The JIP is a good feature for missions not that focused on the realism or the tactics. I think that the JIP should be enabled by the mission maker in the mission, not made as a game's feature. Let's C ya

Hi, as far as i know... this is the SFP-5 status: They've a huge work to do on the units, booth models and textures; also on the weapons, in the vehicles... and in the choppers. They also have a very big job to do on the config and scripts; booth in the modern desert and standard units as in the 80's units, so we gonna have to grow our patience; but keep asking, at least that will keep the thread alive. "Arma" brand impeding on Arma2's success?

Hi, i think that the sales strategy at this times should remain the same regarding the product name and that they should only add or improve what they can over the engine that they manage. But, i think that they could/should improve some things related to the number of posible customers that they could reach; for example, add a female playable character and make publicity of that game feature "now the war reachs all genders", or really take care of the game's translations, i only can say bad words to every spanish player that i meet or possible player that i've meet in regards to the game, it's bugs, the camapign and over all... the ridiculously bad translation. So well, i hope that they do it better this time with the ArmA2 or i gonna have (even) much more ammo to damage the sales and the "good name" of Bohemia Interactive Studios. Let's C ya -

Hi, i hope that don't be already too late for say it, but i think that some of the wounds textures need a check: The blood on the legs is the same dirt than in the groin of the units that use a BP vest and they seem too bright to me; the units with the BP vest share the same wounds than the units that don't have this vest so the wounds on 'em don't look that good, also, the units don't display any blood trace on the skin, hands.. face.. or any other flesh piece. Maybe make the units that don't wear BP vests use the v1.14 wounds may be a good idea, i don't really know how the wounds textures work in the O2, so i don't know what could be made for improve a bit the shape of the wounds on those units that wear the BP vest. Hi, rightnow in the ArmA the grass is displayed in a weird way when there's a closer light source as a fire or a vehicle on fire or things like that, which looks like this: And that... looks very bad, the ground totally black but the grass glowing as the chernovil weed...!? it looks really bad to me, and i think that will be good if that could be fixed or improved. Hi, this are the bugs that i was talking about: The shadow under the helmet on all the units that use that kind of helmet looks weird, as it dissapears from the upper side of the unit's head. And there's a small slice in the Irina's neck on the red marked area, but it's few noticeable. Let's C ya *Edit: yes, it's true... using that unsigned replacement the units do use the custom faces without problems. -

Hi, as drunk player and drunk texturer im againist force the units to display a certain custom face; other than the custom face that i use to use in the game in SP & MP, so i wouldn't force the player managed units to use any damn cusom face/camoed face. I'll let that crap for the AI units or i'll drop the idea; i want to use my damn custom face booth in SP as in MP. Let's C ya -

Hi, seems that no one of the units use the custom faces, they don't diplay it; i've also seen a weird thing with the shadow of the Assault units helmets and in the Irina's neck. But the units look real good. Let's C ya -

Hi, for me the SU-34 isn't pointless, just a bit weird; a SU-25 or a YAK-131 would had fit better for the ATG role, but yeah, a SU-34 is pimp. What is not that pimp is that it can't be properly used (by the player) by night due to the HUD bug and that when it's on the ground... in the 2Nd LOD or so it shows the front wheels light turned On, which screws up your sight when you're getting closer etc etc. That's all what i say, that it haves some bugs that seems that never gonna be fixed; how the engine handles the aircraft in general, booth rotary or fixed wing, it's another thing. Hi, make a winter face as you're asking it's really easy, you could download the .psd files at the 1St page and then rework the cover to match your needs or use one of the six winter camo faces that i did for the CWR users, it's really really easy with those .psd's. But if you're too lazy... or just a FNG with the PS... gimme some time and i'll do it ASAP. Let's C ya
