Hi, i never bought any game based on the age rating, i've always bought the games for the content, the history, the capabilitys and the graphics; here in spain i always was able of buy games that had an age rate superior to my age on that time, from when i was happy Amiga 500/1200 user until this day. As i'd said... i think that what motivates that +18 rating, it's the political factor and the changing laws on many EU countrys motivated by specific facts and the public opinion that swallows anything that comes from the media and belive in what they see on the TV news and talk shows as if it were the Lord's word. Hi, that could reply to the fact that now there's "more concern" about the games content in many EU countrys that are making stronger laws vs what we may call "adult content", for example in germany, poland or france; where a game called: Six Days In Fallujah. Won't be released because of it's content. The campaign story line may have something to do here too, but i don't know it, i haven't seen it; some war crimes here and there and the kind of sad historys that happens in a war, but that was already present in the ArmA and no one said nothing about it. So i vote for the sell it in countrys with more restrictive laws or just where they look more closely to the game's content with the eye of the censorshit. Let's C ya

Hi, i can't delete the "razmisc.pbo" file if i want to keep using Razani with the rest of the maps all in the same addon folder called: @Islands. So i don't gonna touch anything and i gonna await for you booth to solve it, i don't use any of the two maps in MP since i don't use the ACE mod which seems that the only MP missions that are on the public servers that take place in any of this 3 maps, are made for. I've just found that small incompativility. Let's C ya

Hi, yes i think that must be something related with the Nicolas Bell Razani 0.5 map, i didn't though about it until now, i gonna try to get a screenshot of that small blue building; i've downloaded again the map from armedassault.info and i also gonna try again the asylum. Let's C ya *EDIT: I haven't try the asylum (i forget it) but i've located that building, seems that you've placed two in the same place too one over the other, here it's the screenshot of the building: And here it's it's/their GPS location on the map:

Hi, yes man, i downloaded it yesterday on Armedassault.info at like the 14:00 or so; i haven't try yet the Afgan Village 1.0 map, only Avgani. The asylum it's very pimp, but seems that you walk thru all the walls, and inside objects, also thru the external walls (from inside the building) until fall and die. I've also shooted at a small, not enterable blue building that instead collapse it turned or banked over a side and then stayed with 1/2 buried in the ground; i should try to locate it again. The AI seem to have the same problems than always with their "yeltsin pathfinding", getting stunk at the phone poles, sidewalks when they go in wheeled vehicles... and some tanks (RACS M60A3) refuse to turn in some crossroads and head to the street that they were ordered to go, i didn't knew that the ArmA's AI had a cowardy model... "oh no no, im scared of go by that street!! what we gonna do if they throw rotten eggs at us, and tomatos and watermelons big as a 18 axis trucks!?" heh the AI on this game "it's so good...". Let's C ya

Hi, i haven't noticed any significant performance lost yet on Avgani, but this is what i've get when i did a flyby with a USMC OV-10D Bronco: After hit "accept" (= Aceptar) i could keep flying normaly, i'd get the message after pass the whole town once over the North side; i should do some more tests on the ground and i'll report back any other weird thing that i may see. Hi, some SEAL units that belong to the Navy use the M-24A3, that's the only logic that i see on the presence of the M24 in the game (at least a reason that i could talk about without get a warning level) and what the people call M21 it's what the rest of the world, call: M14-A1 DMR. That im happy with it; but i should say that i don't know what the M24 it's doing between the weapons list if we gonna play with the USMC and maybe... with a SEALs team. I could say the same about the XM-8, the AK-107, that "RPK-74", the M-9FSD and some others, but seems that's a waste of time; so lets say that there's a SEALs team somewhere and that "the M24 and the other weapons make sense". Hi, i wouldn't call it a RTS game, it's more a first person shooter with a high degree of tactic game rather than strategy; here it goes about solve a certain situation or as much a certain number of objectives, using the right tactics; it's not about win a war unless that you do a campaign that reflects in some degree the war methodology, that then... we could may be say that the strategy plays an important role; but i'll just call it (the ArmA) the best war based/tactical shooter released until now. With it's bugs, flaws etc but yeah, it's the best one. Let's C ya -
Hi, yeah, same here; i guess that i should have to talk with the OFPEC crew about it and check if we can do something to upload the latest 44Mb .psd file that i made that "only" takes +20Mb on .rar , if it's possible... then i'll replace that broken link with the new one. Let's C ya

Hi, yeah man it would be possible, but i don't feel as working too much with the PS rightnow, so it'll take a time that i don't have and in case of have it, i wouldn't spend it working with the PS; i don't think that they be that needed as i don't play to any civilian style mission, and those who play 'em, can find there some faces without camo or... download those x2 .psd custom faces and do their own from that point or open some of the game's characters faces, convert 'em into .tga and then do their own .psd of the face or faces that like 'em the most. But anyways, i doubt that i gonna do some more custom faces soon, camoed or not. Let's C ya

Hi, great Da12Th_Monkey, the HMMWV that we've seen from BIS until now it's not a M1114 anyway but a M996 (unarmoured) or a M1044 (uparmoured) so they have a wrong model in any case; it looks better than the ArmA model?, yes; but still beeing a wrong/inaccurate model that i hope that they fix before the release. Hi, "fits its intended purpose..." well, that's another history, which is the HMMWV intended purpouse? to be a simple car? that don't stops 5.56mm bullets and bigger calibers?, that's it's intended pourpouse?; depends on who you ask i guess, if you ask BIS the pourpouse may be just be a transport platform to move faster by the battlefield with a limited firepower or none at all (in the unarmed variant), but if they gonna do some M1044s, then it should stand some 7.62mm fire and the tyres should just get flat and allow you to keep driving at 50Kmh or so and like 30Kmh off road, that's the real HMMWV M1044 pourpouse, now, what or how BIS gonna represent it in the game it's another history... if we start with a completly inaccurate model... we're begining badly then. All what im saying is that the model is wrong no matters which HMMWV version it represents, if it represents any USMC hummer, then it's wrong because that's not where the side exhaust is placed and there isn't any USMC hummer that uses/have. There isn't any USMC or army hummer that have the hood's snorkel as that one, and the army hummers (the only ones that have those vents in the back) don't have the side exhaust and the USMC don't uses army vehicles, because they've their own that fits better the role that the USMC use 'em for. So, again; BIS please, fix that HMMWV model. Let's C ya

Hi, Big-Rooney: This is what i see on the ArmA2 page about the HMMWV: So it don't names the M1114 anywhere; the M1114 it's the uparmoured army version, the USMC uparmoured HMMWV, it's the M1044. That haves a side exhaust (in the left side) because it's a USMC vehicle designed to be capable of disembarq in shores with a deepness of 1'5m and reach the beach. We still in the same thing; that HMMWV made by BIS is wrong, it haves the side exhaust on the wrong side, the hood's snorkel is wrong and those vents on the back are from the army HMMWVs, not from the USMC HMMWVs. So it's 100% fictional. BIS: That BIS quote, it's a lie if we take a look at the HMMWV and other vehicles; the thing is that in the HMMWV it's so obvious that's offensive. Let's C ya

Hi, it's ovbious that the ArmA2 still on development and not finnished; it stills WIP. So, they could/should fix some of the most ovbious bugs/mistakes before the release; if you've seen on armedassault.info a video where the man goes close to an AAV7P, then you may have noticed how the man turns the view to the ground just for don't allow the camera to record the slow pass from LOD to LOD, when he gets close, the AAV7P is just kinda like a big green box without much detail, until some seconds before, that he rises up the camera and you can see the AAV7P's 1St LOD again. This makes me belive that the AAV7P itself isn't yet totally finnished and then i guess that the rest of the vehicles are the same. That means that they're on time to fix some of the most clear mistakes that they've made with the vehicles. The thing with the HMMWV it's a mistake as big as the Texas state or as Australia, it's as big as Jupiter in the solar system; and i hope that they fix it before the release. Let's C ya

Hi, well Dwarden, i've used a picture of the spanish Marine Infantry because we bought those HMMWVs to the USMC, they are the same ones, they're the USMC HMMWVs; the ones that you've shown, are army HMMWVs, not USMC ones. And that was the bigger picture that i've found of a USMC HMMWV, where you can see clearly where the side exhaust goes, how the hood snorkel looks like and how they don't have those vents the back side. The BIS HMMWV for the ArmA2 it's a weird mix between a USMC HMMWV and an army one (those vents in the rear side. Fix that to get a USMC HMMWV will take like 20mins having all the needed things, textures, UV maps and the model. I hope that they fix that before the release and not in a future patch; from my point of view it's a shame and i don't know why or how they can do that. Let's C ya

Hi, i personally preffer much more the old forum shape, this one don't looks that good to me, the other was straight and clear, this one looks like a MS product; ain't like it. I guess that i'll be gaining speed with the use, but rightnow... i find it uggly, slow (because i've to relocate everything in the screen and on my mind) and basicaly few elegant. Some kind of forum skins option will be pimp. Let's C ya

Hi, yeah NoRailGunner, i did; i've 'em on the HD inside the ArmA but that's external content that forces me to ALT+TAB to copy and paste a text line inside the unit box among other things and that use to eat up alot of my PC resources if it don't CTD the 4th time. What i was suggesting, was to add some basic and easy to use pre made editor missions, not as .pbo but as .sqs so we can check it with a simple text editor; maybe even with comments (in english) as the OFP's commented config for example... basic things as paradrop AI units... check if someone's alive and trigger X thing if still alive or not... and that kind of things that may help to build basic SP & MP missions. The starts... the endings... secondary, terciary objectives.. and things like that. I hope that you be with me on that will be a good idea or a good point by BIS if they at least include a .pdf commands refference with the game, at least that. Let's C ya -
Hi, i think that it'll be great if they replace the current BLUFOR AA pod and the OPFOR ATM aswell, for the ArmA2 models, in the v1.15 Alpha pach. I'll like alot if they could add complete woodland BDU dressed units instead just a Rifleman and a Corpsman. Let's C ya
