Hi, i've voted for: It's necessary and will improve the game. If it's well done then it'll make the AIs more usefull when the player is in charge or when the AIs are on their own; i'll like to see the AI vehicles machineguns handling improved. Let's C ya -

Hi, one problem that could appear with the AI supressive fire is the ammo; we and they have less ammo than we'll have as combat units, sector patrols or long range patrols. We'll need more inventary slots for the main weapon ammo to be able of offer a real volume of supressive fire. And what will happen when the AIs spitt all their ammo...? we've to remember that in the ArmA, many of the units don't have all their slot filled, like the AT soldiers that only have x4 magazines for the main weapon, or the medic, who only have x6 magazines and have x2 empty slots; i don't know why the medic must have that pointless slots number limit, is really stupid to me. I think that after the AI drop all their ammo doing the supressive fire... they gonna put the weapon at their back and gonna lay down as they do in the ArmA, doing nothing; and as they're dumb... they wouldn't go to the next ammo crate or corpse with a weapon or just with ammo for it's weapon, in case of do it, i think that they'll do it in a very risky way that will resoult in it's death; just order an AI to go to an ammo crate to swap his weapon or take some ammo, check how many turns he do to get to the crate... i've seen chickens running less and with more sense for their food than any ArmA AI running for ammo from a crate or vehicle. Let's hope that the Micro AI fixes this a bit, otherwise will be better do it all "rambo style" and do it all yourself because you can't trust in the AI for do simple things. Other "simple" thing... the AIs and the choppers or AA vehicles, they're 100% innacurate. I've ordered an AI to shoot at a KA-52 and he depleeted the 750 rounds of the Viper without hit a single time on the KA that was flying horizontaly at +500m from us; same with the tanks, he fired like 200 rounds at a T72 without hit a single time, until that it shoot us down with the main gun. Again... a shame. Same with the AIs that i've ordered to manage the M163 as gunner, a Berkut flying arround us at from 100 to 1500m, my AI dryed the Vulcan cannon without hit a single time on the Berkut. I hope that this gets fixed or made better in the ArmA2. Let's C ya

Hi, other small fix that will be very usefull, enable lean to the sides with the RPGs, right now in the ArmA i can't lean with an AT weapon when i should be able to; also, will be much more usefull if when you're lean to any side and you swap your possition (crouch to stand up) it will reset the lean, so you stand up in the place and if you want to lean for watch again by that corner, then you'll have to hit again the lean keys; also reset (remove) the leaning if you sprint forward. All this will safe many lives plus make the gaming more fluid. Let's C ya

Hi, That's like in the movies or TV series, where the aliens also speak a perfect (yankee) english; look how well the klingons speak english... hell, they speak it better than me, or look at those loosers from Stargate... or the people from Galactica... the whole universe speaks english. That's not like malaga, almerÃa or murcia; where 2 of each 10 are able to say something in english. I guess that a russian man talking in english judging by the TV... whouldn't be that rare, always... that he've some short of klingon accent... >>;-) . Let's C ya

Hi, for me one small and really easy to add thing will be, to make working "cat eyes" on the units that have 'em, viewable at +20m without NVGs and at +50m with 'em; also working IFF patches on the units that have 'em modeled in game, different ones for the grunts, Team Leader and Squad Leader so we could know who is who and who's in front of us during night missions. That will be a really easy and useful small detail that i'll like to see. Let's C ya P.S: I'll also like to see it on the ArmA 1 BLUFOR and RACS units.

Hi, the problem with the ramp mounted weapons is that the AI don't watches any fire sector; at least not the right one... it's always scanning front and passes completly from any target on his natural fire sector, the 45º right behind the Osprey. So at least in the ArmA, it's useless unless that you've a player handling it; i'll not be very worried about have an armed MV22 or not, the difference between an armed one handled by an AI and other unarmed... is zero. Hi, one thing that i've always missed in the OFP and now on the ArmA vehicles, and that im sure that i gonna miss too in the ArmA2, are the working wheels on the choppers; the SH70 have wheels for roll by the runway or things like that, but... "obviously..." we can't use 'em. So we've to put the bird in the sky for move 5m forward on a plain LZ, now this is the thing with the SH70 and the MV22B, i wish that that will change. Let's C ya

Hi, i think that the Fast Rope method will be a pimp option, but... it'll need a deformable (with ragdoll system or something) rope model with it's Geometry LOD made able of stop at the roof or surface where it falls, instead pass trough and clipping risking the chopper and the troops on it, plus the winch animations plus the rope's animations; do you really think that we gonna see it in the ArmA2...!?. I don't think so; will be pimp... but i won't spect to get it, same as fire from the cargo possitions of some vehicles, or walk by the interior of some vehicles, like for example... choppers, and snipe from there or offer more cover to the chopper with two rifleman on a door and another plus a grenadier or a machinegunner on the other door. But if you ask me... i don't have any hope of see any of this things in a BIS game. Let's C ya

Hi, i don't like that online activation thing; but if the ArmA2 gonna use securom, i won't buy it and i'll tell anyone that i know to do the same. The securom sucks. Let's C ya P.S: I do want manuals, the box & a DVD to install/reinstall directly when i want or need instead have to download again the X.Gb that the game may take, wich is slower that don't be that lazy and laid and take the DVD and put it into the drive. Some people take care of the game's boxes, their CDs/DvDs, their manuals etc; i care for what i pay. -
Hi, i'll like to see some EU country at the RES side, like Sweden or even England and then maybe we get to see supported animations for bullup rifles like the IWI Tavor, Steyr AUG & the Enfield L85-A2. But i think that's too soon for ask for anything new when the game isn't even released and when it may need patches right after the release; as most of the nowadays games, that must to be patched in order to be able of play decently. Hi, i had to remake all the small details, shadows and some light effects on top of the face, gloves and sleeve, and once done... playing with the transparecy level of each layer until get a good enough resoult (wrinkles, shadows, camo, lights and small details layers) and then using the eraser tool where may be needed and ready. Hi, very pimp island, i've just noticed a few issues: - The walkways near the crashed plane are not that walkable, i get stunk. - You can't fire a weapon inside the plane or by the windows, the bullet stops right at the barrel's exit, it also happens with the smoke grenades. And that's all what i can say until now, i landed my MV-22B near the plane to take a closer look at it and the surroundings. The enviroment is very pimp. Let's C ya

Hi, sorry, no SD version, im not a modeler and i know that make me look (even more) like a sucker... but i don't know anything about modeling and even if i knew, i don't have any .45 SD sound so make a SD version is not and will not be in the list of things to do; im more concerned about the really weird things that the hammer do with each shot or how to remove a box under final side of the slide without totaly screw up the slide. Sorry, no SD .45 for us. Let's C ya

Hi, about the custom sounds... i don't remember to hear any custom sound that added anything to the game, other that quotes from the FMJ that always make me smile, but they don't really add nothing to the game and distract the players which could be lethal. A server side Enable/Disable option for custom sounds may be a good solution, separated from the custom faces; the custom faces in this game also allows to recognice who you've at your side because may be more than one man with the same weaponry and shape and then the custom face may serve to identify who he/she is in 0'5. Hi, i use to get a bit wounded after fall (better slide) from some 2'3m tall stairs, jumping from helos at that height and things like that, wounded or dead. Exit properly from a tank would require specific and long animations for each tank/APC or whatever; and that will add more problems than solutions, what will happen if the commander or the gunner gets shot when exiting the tanks hatch?, he should fall inside blocking the loader's and in some tanks the driver's exit path with his 85Kg of dead meat. What anim they should do for those times then? heart finger up for the dead man and "let's get outta here"!?, i'll be happy enough if they will make the tanks and APCs hull walkable and if we could walk inside the vehicles and use their hatches to offer covert fire for the vehicle or be able of lay down in the ground of a chopper and snipe from the cargo are; i'll be very happy if i could do just that. Hi, ovbiously i stand up for the custom faces; i think that we wont be able of use 'em at least with the USMC FR camaign units, i think that they gonna be some specific characters, as we've seen on the QG campaign, i think that this is a bad point, because reduces the chance of customization in the game which for me, it's bad. I don't see what the problem may be in have a custom face with whatever on it, what i find annoying its the people that TK, that didn't took the time to play the SP campaign and missions and then come to bore you with their silly question or those who just don't know what team play means and that don't understand that this is not a "Rambo simulator", this is a game intending to be a more serious squad based shooter. I've played with people with custom faces that made me want to beat 'em up until death and then set a burning cross at the side of the dead body, pink faces... hommer simpson faces... G.W. Bush faces... swasticas and all kind of things that really ill my liver; but, they knew how to play, they acted as a squad, they cover each other, they knew how to get something from what their tool (read: weapon) they advance in formation, following orders and doing it as it's sopposed to be done for fullfill something. We all together looked like the damn freak squad from hell but... we played well all together. So i'll not have problems with the colours of the custom face of whatever player; the colour is not important, what matters... it's if they're suckers or not. The colours don't really say anything, it's the facts what matters. I hope to be able of keep using my custom face on the ArmA2 if i buy it and keep doing custom faces for those players that want to customize their game with something more of their taste. Let's C ya P.S: When i was on the spanish Marine Infantry, my officers wanted to propose me for a medal for paint a skull in green and black on my face, but some ours later... they catched me smoking joints and i had "to negotiate" a serie of exercises and punches instead get arrested 31 days, so... no medals for me... but alot of fun!!.

Hi, one thing that worries me is, with all this new things, with it's good shape... it's fresh soviet style... what the fuck are OFP objects like the bunkbeds and things like that doing among all this new and really good looking objects? because i don't get it, always that i think about it... i'm about to say what i really think and get banned for life from this forums. I hope that the OFP objects be completly removed, objects, textures and everything; and that the only OFP trace that we see in the game, are those good things that it had and that we're not entirely seeing in the released pictures. We're seeing what looks like as a well done terrain with cold war atmosphere buildings and also the civilian cars and things like that. Gonna be very sad if there're useless or just outdated low-qual OFP's objects and textures. Those new pictures look really well. Let's C ya

Hi, in the ArmA, only the UH-60s and the MI-8 MTV (aka MI-17) have (crew) men operated side machineguns not operated directly by the pilot or copilot. That in the ArmA, in the ArmA2... we don't know all the choppers versions, so who knows. Let's C ya
