Hi, more screenshots of the demo: Plastic Units Shape. As you can see there, the units BDU show a weird plastic shape, their BDU and their skin; all the units look pale and decoloured, even the blacks, that in the demo, the rebels use the black yankees faces too which make the rebels give the shape that they're PMCs from somalia, rodesia, haiti, south afrika or any country that exports fighters outside their borders; i don't that this be bad, i just think that is weird. Burned Image As M1A1 Gunner. That screenshot like the previous one was taken setting the time to 14-06-2003, at the 18:00 of any summer; and when you switch to the gunner possition... the image was like burned, this didn't happen as driver. The two AIs that i ordered to act as gunner and as commander get like 5mins late to enter the tank for no reason, one of 'em was at no more than 12m from the tank, standing doing nothing and going over his knee from time to time. Pop Corn Sky: That's how i seen the sky that same date but at the 21:00, the NVGs were very bad... they don't look closer to how this devices look or to how they work. I busted a pair of BMP-2s and one thing that surprised me was that some time after that the fire had been extinguished on their remains... shudently it began again, like side ammo explosions, was a good thing; other thing less pimp that i seen was that the ACOG sight don't have any shiny tritium element, which was very dissapointing, almost as much as check that the reticle that it uses still beeing the army reticle instead the USMC ACOG sight reticle. More Pop Corn Sky: As you can see... is better to don't look to the sky by night, at least in the demo, is really dissapointing how the NVGs work, even more than in the ArmA, where they were already bad implemented/represented. A very pimp thing is that at least the M24 and that kind of rifles with that grip, have their propper handle animation and also a very pimp sound. Let's C ya

Hi, the M4 & M16 muzzle flash have 6 peaks, just like the G36A, G3A4, CETME C and L and many others, the main pourpouse of the muzzle break is to reduce the size of the flame and as second and less noticeable pourpouse, stabilize the weapon removing some recoil due to the gas going off the barrel, even on a MG3 you don't see the flash by the day, but during the night... it's a spotlight. Each weapon should have a propper muzzle flash; the M16A4s and M4-CAR or M4A1s should use the same muzzle flash, shared by the G36A and the XM-8, the XM-8K should use a four spikes muzzle flash as well as the XM-8C, and the AK-100 series should use the same one than the AK-74s, two side flames; only the AK47s look alikes should use a round shape muzzle flash, the M14s have a five peaks muzzle flash that the M1A SOCOM 14" and SOCOM 16" as well as the SOCOM-II have a different muzzle flash. Each weapon should have a propper muzzle flash. Let's C ya -
Hi, i preffer the ArmA's red dot over the ArmA2 red dot on the CCO sights, i never had one of those in the real life in the hads, but i preffer the ArmA's red dot; i've a better awareness at close and mid ranges and i also preffer it over the ACOG sights for the same reasons even when the ACOG sight on the ArmA2 is not the USMC reticle... but it's much better than the ArmA's ACOG; sorry if i've gone off topic with this last part. Hi, in the Demo this are some of the bad/wrong things that i've found: Pale Character Skin: You can compare how that custom face looks here and how it looks in the ArmA, way better and more detailed and less pale in the ArmA than here. Bad Shadows: Sometimes you see the shadows casted over objects, inside houses and over the units, as dark (completly black) like on that tree; so it's impossible to distinguish what or who's under that shadow. Very Low Object Textures: Even when set on High or Very High, i don't see any difference what so ever; i see most of the objects that bad, as if they were set to Low or very Low. Low Vegetation: The trees and bushes look like that and makes very hard to distinguish any detail on 'em of if a friendly or enemy unit is using it as cover because it looks as bad as that. Very Low Vehicles Detail: Don't happens with all the vehicles, but the army HMMWVs that BIS has gave us, look as bad as that, they're like a mud dirt in a field, only the wheels look as they should; with the required and propper detail. Also the MTVs that are at more or less 60m show what may be the 4th LOD, just a couple of boxes ones on top of the others. The FPS have gone under 20fps in Chernarus, with the view distance at 3000m on my Dual Core 3.400mhz with my Nvidia 8800GTS 256Mb and my 3Gb of DDR. So for all this reasons and the ones deleted my a moderator... i've to lower my rating from 6.8 to 5.4 . It's a unfinnished and few polished game at this point in my opinion. I like the demo, but i wont buy a game that works and it's seen like this, i did that mistake with the ArmA and i won't make the same mistake again. Let's C ya

Hi, the demo looks good, 22FPS in the benchmark; ain't like the new AI command mode or menu, that's always pressent, ain't like the shadows and the HDR that's too heavy in booth cases, ain't like the players/AIs skin tone, it's too pale and the custom faces only work from 3Rd person view but not on 1St person; ain't like how the UH-1Y start the engines, it goes up (the noise) until that it reachs a point where suddently falls down and stabilizes, ain't like that when the control tower on the airport get damaged, if you're on the control room if you try to shoot outside the bullets colide with a invisible nothing between the broken glasses; ain't like that when you go running at full speed and you hit the key to walk slowly then you begin to run like in slow motion instead just walk slowly, ain't like the fixed zoom that in CQB makes it really hard to be aware of what you've at your sides, ain't like the very plastic shape of almost everything begining by the units BDU, the equipment, weapons, etc.. i like very much the new sounds, their much better than the ArmA ones, i love to be able of use again the right CTRL key, i like very much to be able of use ATs standing but ain't like to not be able of do it when prone; i like very much the M1A1 commander's view with the grain and that but i hate how the M2HB is displaced to the right into the AAV7 gunner optic and i love the sea and water in general, looks very well done and realistic. So i'll give the demo a 6'9 in a scale between 1 to 10. Let's C ya

Hi, i've never used the 3Rd Person View to look above a hill, wall, object or whatever; i've always used it to have a better awareness when driving a Tank, APC or any other vehicle that in the ArmA don't had a vehicle interior; back in the OFP as the tanks had a interior... i never used it. The pilots don't have mirrors in the real life, so i never used it to land or crash a helo, i guess that not everyone isn't "as clean" as me when playing and they use dirty tricks, i know; will be good if the 3Rd Person View could only be enabled for those operating vehicles. Hi, the ArmA in terms of "popularity" and players dedication may be dieing, but they gonna have a very very hard time fixing all the bugs in the ArmA2, rightnow seems that almost all the models have at least one bug, even those directly present already in the ArmA have there more bugs than here; so yeah, the ArmA is dead. Hi, now i've passed the mout and i've graduated but... it tells me that the MOUT is not made and i can't enter into any MP server, i can't choose a team and yeah, after some time seems that im auto-kicked from there to the damn main menu. It also tells me that there isn't any patch/upgrade released yet & that i will inform me (the Steam) once it be released, to ask me for install it. Let's C ya

Hi, not really, keep in mind that you are supposed ot keep a low profile in the field, and when in CQB a plain/flat colour can be almost as good as the black (colour that the brain don't see) so if you're laying down prone facing the enemy, he'll only see your shoulders and head. That... and the cost of the software program plus the components for the machines that make those certain vests or a new entire machine that can use more than 1 colour string. It don't really matters that much, there're certain colours that are good enough in many terrains and situations. Let's C ya

Hi, for me the best racing games that i've seen, are in this ones: - Grand Prix Legends. - Grand Prix Legends 2004 Demo. - Nascar Racing 2003 By Papyrus. Those are the best ones in their cathegory for me, with the NASCAR 2003 you can paint your own cars and also mod the game, that's how i began to play with the Photoshop, for paint my own cars back in the mid 90s for the NASCAR 1, an example of my N2003 paintjobs and addons: - My Ride. - Addon Shifters Pack. Hi, in the ArmA the AI (even not under your command) do target the Laser Designator and drop the bombs, the problem is that if those AI are x2 Harriers... booth Harriers drop all their LBGs into the same target/Laser Marker, so they're very useless in most cases. Let's C ya

Hi, example of isolation: In the WW-II, the nations comunity imposed a right sanction on germany that banned the weapons trading with germany; then, George Prescott Bush (grandpa of G.W. Bush) intervent with other 3 men (one from the America's Bank) to send some Remington weapons to the germans, bypassing the "friendly" sea and land barriers to prevent the germans to adquire more, better or just new war equipment. By the way, those other 3 men were the same ones that tryed to overthrow the EEUU president back in the 30s, but they "choosen" a high rank USMC hero from the WW-I to be "the face" of that "new regime" friend of the nazis and they failed (at that time) in a miserable way; because as couldn't be in other way... the Marine standed at the side of his president, elected for the EEUU people. This didn't had any consecuence for those 4 men pointed in a tribunal as the leaders, supporters and ideologysts of that complot, the charges on 'em were thrown and they were declared as "not guilty" of treason. The America's Bank had links with the Bormann's network, the Thyessen Krupt and the former Mushlims Brothers Brotherhood; which in 1956 splitted up in various groups and now the most famous one is knows as: Al-Qaeda. There're forms of "isolation" that don't work and will never work and much less when they have this kind of scum or spoilers making holes in the point of this "strategy". We should stay as far as we could from internal problems, Iran already had enough of "western culture" when the EEUU helped the ayatolah to "win the control" of that republic and do many more things on other places "helping" to create the world that we see now on the TV and worst; the world that we don't see on the TV... . Hi, don't surprise me that they've fired the developers, i would had send 'em all to the wall, this is ridiculous; look at this: 100% with each tryining, M230, M249 & M67s and it tells me that i've failed?!, damn it, the AAO 2.81 was much better than this one, it looked better and it worked, it also was less "complex" here the things don't seem to be so smooth; as example, in the AAO 2.81 i was able of play in full screen without any upper and bottom black bar as if this were a Z serie movie in my dear 17" monitor, but here it's impossible. Hi, how about the TOW-II missiles mounted on vehicles?, in the ArmA, they behave in a bad chaotic way flying up and down making HOT with the TOW-II a matter of luck and useless at mid/long distances, you can't have a desired zoom level, you just zoom In to the max or you just don't zoom. Is that simple. And what about the TOW-II smoke trail?, it don't have it in the real life, but here... it have's so much that obscures the target making the TOW-II useless (again). Compare the accuracy/handling from a static TOW-II launcher and a vehicle mounted one (all this in the ArmA) and you'll notice a huge huge difference. The way that the TOW-II like many other things is presented at least in the ArmA, will dissapoint anyone, and there were many many things that really remove the will of play from me. Let's C ya -
Hi, there's something weird, yesterday.. i did the 1St basic training exercises a few times to unlock the next phase, i failed, they wasn't unlocked even when i did 'em with note; today i've try again and... they were done, so i've been able of play the next one but again, i've been unable to save the scores and do the next ones, is as if the scoring server were down or something. Hi, about that flying goat... everything flys that way, units, cars etc because there isn't any dismemberfest or posibility of separate a plain model into small pieces, if you place a charge under some civilians... you'll take their pieces from hundreds of metters away, so.. here is the whole model and not parts of it what fly hundred of metters away. Hi, i wont play any army based mission or campaign, i've my dear Jonn's USMC units and i'll stick to 'em as long as this game lasts in my HD, in that list, there're some addons that require a powerfull PC that i don't have, so that's the main reason for me for don't play such thing; may worth the try if with the campaign you provide a DL for each addon and to the question of "it worth the time spent?" is you who must find the reply; did ya'd fun making it?, if the reply is yes, then it worth the time; if the reply is no... then ya've yar answer. My possition is that i do the things for my own enjoyment and i share 'em with the other players for if they find 'em enjoyable, good, funny or whatever. If i don't had fun with the Photoshop or something else.. then i wouldn't do it and i don't care what others think about the things i do; they're my own thing, if you don't like it... then you you know what i will tell you, that's my possition. I don't know about the others. Let's C ya -
Hi, NoRailGunner, i was talking about game/gaming pourpouses in the ArmA2, the real life things are not really taken in account by BIS, so we're (i was) talking about the... equanimity? in the game?, because neither the tanks, APCs, cars, choppers or planes are made in a realistic way. Their weapons are not well represented, the armour!? it's not even closer; and well, i was talking about gaming pourpouses, here there isn't anything that works like in the real life. Let's C ya
