Hi, the View Distance do not have a direct hit on the radar when you fly a chopper or a plane, same for the tanks but with reserves... the only change is that if you handle some Fire And Forget weapon like the AGM-114K Hellfire... the ground targets will become active sooner than with few view distance, same for the OPFOR planes or choppers and the AIM 9 Sidewinder; with the tanks, APCs and IFVs is the same but they show as active (red on the radar) a bit later. The problem is that the draw distance for objects don't goes directly related to the view distance, wich is bad... because you wont see any tank at 5000m maybe at 4000m from the air, and like 3800m from the ground. This is a big problem. And by the way, i don't use ACE or any other big overall mod, i preffer stand alone addons and signed replacement addons for those stand alone addons, this don't haves a so big impact on the load times or the game's performance on my mid-end computer. Hi, the advantage is that you can see the enemy aproaching or just iddle at longer ranges wich allows you to take the time to make a plan to ambush 'em or to react to their advance; the disadvantage of the higher view distance is the performance, if you suffer "hardware lag" then it'll be harder for you to control you weapon, to give orders to your AIs or team mates or basically, play. But, with a smaller view distance... your reaction time and actions could be performed at a natural smooth speed; with the disadvantage that the AI can see you but you can't see 'em or their shots until they or their shots reach out the view distance that you've setted up; a good valance between distance and performance is the best commonly, which don't saves you from suffer a huge "hardware lag" from time to time depending on how many particles "are in the air", how many units and objects on the island, how many addons you're using and how many units you've under your control, more AIs = wrost performance, more human players = a bit less bad performance. I hope that this helps you too, i use to have the view distance set to 2500m because i don't use to take anything with wings, choppers and much less planes as i don't have a joystick. Let's C ya

Hi, yeah i guess that there must be some, i've my own one released; but have some errors. Have to download an entire mod for get a M1911 is not nice and i wouldn't do it anyways but i'll like to see the AA2 M1911 in the ArmA, it'll fit good with the QG partisans. Let's C ya

Hi, good to hear it, i would had taken some screenshots; but i was too drunk as for take screenshots and make a detailed issues report, if you've the .psd files of the grey USMC MH-53's with the wire frames, i could try to do a 90s euro camo version too if the O2 isn't needed for do it. For some reason the "P:" virtual drive that it creates has dissapeared from my computer, without any advise, i just looked one day and it wasn't there; but if it isn't needed... i could try it. Hi, i've seen one bug that's there from the begining and two problems, the bug is this one: Those white boxes when you turn On the lights, that i hoped it to be fixed on this release; and the small problems are the next ones, the chopper is always turning to the left so you have to be corecting the flight all the time, not only the pitch; and the second small prob is that when you turn On the NVGs as pilot, happens the same than on the SU-34 cockpit. That the instruments mess up the brightness of the NVGs, well... the game's HDR really does it, so i'll blame BIS for this. Those are the issues that i've seen on the choppers aside of how pimp they're. Let's C ya *EDIT: I also forget to mention that there isn't any chopper with "Marines" written on the sides, that the most distant destroyed LOD show the tail and a bit of the main rotor but if you get close... the closer LOD don't show this things, but booth LODs show low qual damage textures. I've also forget to mention that the hands of the left window gunner has his hands blocking the sight of the M249 if you aim down the sights and that there's no way of enter or switch to the right window gunner. Also, the ramp gunner don't has no feet for his M2HB, so the man (let's call him... schwartzenager) hold the 45Kg of H. MG just with his arms, a clap for that AI please.

Hi, i use the Print-Screen key and then i hit ALT+TAB and i open the Photoshop and then i create a new image at my screen's resolution and then i save it; take a few more and then i close the ArmA and edit the taken screenshots, save the ones that serve or i like and just erase the others. It's a slow method and if you are playing it can slow down the gameplay but i don't use to take screenshots when im playing, when i play i play, when i want to take a screenshots i do it; works. Hi, i think that Rasta & Carnage quitted from DKM long time ago, so maybe the only DKM member alive is DKM Jaguar (who... "also haves other nicks...") but i hope that you can find some DKM member that gives you the permision to release the RAH, it was a very pimp addon on the OFP in combo with the ECP v1.085 and in the ArmA will find a place for sure. Hi, the face, arms and hands seem to be displayed/mapped on the same place on the ArmA2 models is just that you can't see 'em in 1St person for some reason; the only out of place parts that i've noticed are the eyes and the mouth intern, the rest seem to be ok. Let's C ya

Hi, the NVGs aside of their colour config, use the same method than a weapon sight, for the black edges of the NVGs, that's a .paa and that's what can be changed to the shape that you want; different edge... some effect on top like dust, sand, water or scratches. The bad FLIR copy is that B&W mode that the Warfare (v1.14) introduced, but as that's a config thing ain't got any idea on where to find it or how it works. Let's C ya -

Hi, that M1 is a M1A2 Tusk, the standard M1A1 Abrams IRL also have a loader, but not on the game. Also, 25.000m as view distance will be good for the aircrafts, planes and helos, the tanks would only need 10.000 to 15.000m of view distance, the problem is that you don't need a PC you need a monster to run that with high settings and with enough FPS as for play smooth.
