Hi, with the RTE you can add or edit any line to the init of any object and unit placed with the RTE. It allows you to create more detailed missions/enviroments booth in SP as in MP and it makes it much more easy to edit or create any mission. Let's C ya -

Hi, the best way of place objects on user created missions, is using the I0n0s Real Time Editor V5, that can be found here: - Real Time Editor V5 (from Armedassault.info). You can place objects and units too, even inside buildings and do many more things; it's a great addon/tool for the mission makers and makes the life of those of us who are not scripters, much more easy. Hi, that looks to me as a very good idea, i'll place it on the bottom center of the screen or on the bottom left, so i could keep a clear view of the weapon on the hands or the actions menu; a good thing that i don't know if it's possible as i don't know how is this made will be, to add different colours to the units in the radar depending on their health; so if a man is wounded but still able of return fire his/her icon on the radar will turn yellow, and if a man/woman is seriously wounded and unable to return fire (aka incapacitated) his/her icon will turn red. Also may be pimp to add a red X icon that fades out when a unit dies. That will make it perfect. Let's C ya -

Hi, i don't know any other way of replace the original game's models than using addons and replacements made for change the game's models with those addons, i've replaced the M1A1s in game with addon ones, the SLA with russian VDV units and many of the US weapons with my own ones, but all this with replacements. - 76Th VDV and 45Th Recon (addon units). - 76Th VDV and 45Th Recon (replacement). - CH M1Abrams Pack v1.01. - CH M1Abrams Pack v1.01 (Replacement). - WIP-M4A1's Pack v1.7. Those are the main replacements that i use and made the game look much better; on my weapons pack you've a tutorial about how to install replacement packs (with their needed addons) and also how to do Mod folders to use 'em in SP and MP without touch the default \ArmA\Addons\ folder so you'll aboid to mess up the original game's files. Hi, if that's what you want then i did with the help of I0n0s a replacement pack for replace the SF with the Jhonn's SF v1.0RC and the grunts with his USMC v1.6, so you gonna need booth if you want to use it, this replacement replaces the USMC(D) & USMC(W) units plus the SFs. WIP-BLUFOR Replacement Pack v1.0. I've been playing with it all this time and really makes the game much better, i hope that you like it. Let's C ya

Hi, as spanish... i would suggest you to steal someone else's WI-FI connection, but as ArmA player i would suggest you to get some commands reference and begin to do your own missions if you can mount a LAN with your fellas or get a better connection, you could also go to armaholic.com or to ofpec.com and check there for download campaigns and SP missions that don't require addons and that have a good rating by the players who already played 'em; you can also find scripts and many resources in ofpec.com that willl be very usefull if you gonna do your own missions. Hi, i don't use the last patch because im fine on the v1.14 and i still find three or four servers where i can play without the ACE mod, i fear what the last patch may do to my ArmA, like give me the ArmA2 car stering controls, gime me the ArmA2 FOV as soldier, and well... add some of the ArmA2 bad things but non of it's good things. That's why i don't install the v1.18RC. Let's C ya

Hi, if you're not talking about the Gnat's MV-22B Osprey port from the OFP to the ArmA... then you should most likely report it on the ArmA2 section of this forums under the Throubleshoting label; and if you're indeed talking about the Gnat's MV-22B Osprey addon, then maybe you should PM him to report him about this problem with his addon. Hi, in the vanilla ArmA the AI also passes by the Hold Fire order, if the enemy have open fire on 'em... no matter what you tell 'em that they gonna shoot at the enemy AI, but most of the times they do it on single shot at distances longer than 250m. They also open fire if they spot a target at less than 50m no matters what you order 'em to do, ever that they don't enter in the "yeltsin pathfinding mode" that makes 'em act... "erratic". One thing that may work, could be to ever order your AI to Hold Fire at the begining of every mission so they just report back the contacts, place 'em under some casual cover and then alert the NME with a pair of shots or so and kill 'em like ducks. Hi, i've been using the Firefox for four or five years but what i used before was the Netscape and before that... i used the Northon's Commander, on my 486 DXII 66Mhz and i think that i keept using it even with my Pentium IV 100Mhz too, to manage some of the NASCAR 1 files and to edit some of the Eye Of The Beholder III files and get powerfull objects like swords, armours, rings etc... the Amiga version was better that the PC one. Hi, for make the OPFOR AI to retreat, you could make a script that when X percent of the OPFOR units are dead, then that activates some waypoints to amek 'em look like as retreating, but what they'll be doing will be to follow those way points, they'll not be retreating as we may understand a fall back move; sure that there must be some script already made in OFPEC.com for do this.
