Hi, the problem with any addon AI fix/improvement... is that it's just that, an addon; and you gonna be kicked almost for sure from any public server because you've an addon that the server don't allows or have. Happens the same with the FPS improver addons... most of the public servers don't allow you to use 'em, so they don't fix nothing; because they only work on SP, not in MP, even if they're not damn cheats and only improve the performance client side. So the addon fixes are not really an entire fix. Let's C ya

Hi, about the vegetation, grass included... - Those pines don't share the same light values than the grass or the objects, sometimes is the grass what don't share the light values with the rest of the enviroment, the ground... bushes... and objects like vehicles or units. - As can be seen there... some (most) of the pines don't get afected by the light conditions so they appear almost black in some ocasions they appear as true black. - The reflection on the Aimpoint's back lense at certain day times still entirely screwed up as can be seen there, unabling you to aim with it, if you choose to not have the crossair... you couldn't fireback at the NME. And i can confirm that the AI (own and NME) can see through bushes, threes, fallen threes and also through the grass. After replay again the Into The Storm mission (3Rd Campaign mission) i didn't get stunk after talk with Valentina; so it may had been a casual bug. Let's C ya

Hi, what i find most annoying and certainly a game breaker thing, is the weapon sway rather than the recoil, standing, on the knees and prone; over all the weapon sway with the handguns, that haven't been touched from the Armed Assault 1. It's impossible to hit anything at 10m if you're walking (slowly) aiming down the sights with an Aimpoint sighted weapon, let alone the ACOG sighted or any other weapon with zoom, so the AIs have a huge huge advantage over you because of this; and not only that... the AI see thru grass, bushes and fallen threes too. But on the weapons handling again... the M16/M4 series are famous for it's low recoil and how they handle it, moving the gun more backwards than how a G3 style weapon does, that this is moving the gun tip upwards and to the left much more than backwards. But again, what's much more unrealistic and really bad in gaming therms in my opinion, is the weapon sway, over all with the handguns... booth animations need a serious correction ASAP, because the actual weapons sway forces you to act as a static defence only; stopping for Hit On Target by force if you want to fireback effective fire at less than 20m, on Single, Burst or Auto, that don't matters because we're talking about the weapon sway when you're walking, not the recoil, that matters less in this case as IRL. That's what bothers me the most about the weapons handling, not the recoil; that i agree... needs a retouch on all the weapons. Let's C ya

Hi, sorry man but the CIT is too confuse for me, otherwise i would had been reporting the issues that i found in there instead on here; report on the CIT is very complex for someone with my poor level of english and also poor technic level, the America's Army Bugs Report Form is great, easy and simple, at least for those of us who reported bugs in there... . - Into The Storm. - All the members of your squad have RGO grenades instead M67 grenades. - When you're told to take the LD and you do it, you leave/drop all your handgun magazines into the UH-1Y Venom. - After talk to Valentina you get stunk, unable to move or do anything; but her face has been fixed and that was a nice surprise. Hi, new bugs on the campaign. - First To Fight. - When you're on the Khe-Shan's deck hearing the comander or whatever... there is not sound, but you can still see the white text. - When you follow the S.Leader to the briefing room... there's no sound and the screen turns entirely black seeing only the white text, this happens until the briefing ends. - When you go to talk to Maddox, if you choose to be chillout with him... the entire screen turns black and you can only see the text, hear the UH-Y Venom's blades but the screen remains entirely black. This is only the 1St campaign mission... Let's C ya

Hi, thanks man, but i've solved it (i think) manually installing the BattleEye from here: - BattleEye Official Site. Now after the v1.08 patch, instead be kicked i get CTSs in SP and in empty MP servers before be kicked... so i don't know for sure if i'd solved the thing or not but at least i don't get that "patch v1.07 available for download" message no more. But thanks again, i think that's solved already. Let's C ya

Hi, i don't think that the ArmA2 focuses too much on the realism, when is too much?, there's alot of room to improve main and many things to make it more realistic and user friendly; for example... the weapons handling... the terrible weapons sway that's entirely unrealistic and bad. It forces you to always shoot stopped as if you had to be a static defense weapon in order to hit something at 10m from you, with the handguns is even worst, while they'd added the reload possibility while walking and even jogging... they haven't added the possibility of swap to the handgun on the move. Is this realism!? i don't think so... and that's why i don't think that the ArmA series be too focused on realism, aside of be computer games and not training software... it have many bad things as those so important that i've said that remove realism from the tittle and make me think and say that the ArmA series are not too focused on realism beeing the best (and only) of their kind; BIS should make it better instead be so lazyes. Let's C ya -
Hi, i don't have any disk check... i can play in SP & some mins in MP (before get kicked without any named reason) without need to have the game's DVD on the drive; i think that isn't neccessary to have the DVD on the drive from the previous patch... . A new bug of the v1.08; the presentation screens or scenes when you load the game appear as burned images, like this: Burned Background Scenes: And i don't see any stability improvement... i've installed the Nvidia drivers 260.99 today, but i don't think that that be the reason; my screen/game get's frozen and my entire computer locked (keyboard included) very commonly 'til the point that i've to manualy reset the computer, this didn't happened to me before; also... the BattleEye that's installed with the patch seems to be outdated because i was getting the "Patch v1.07 available for download" message on the servers browser list until that i'd installed the BattleEye manualy. Otherwise i was beeing kicked from any server. Let's C ya

Hi, seems that the v1.08 only have code tweaks but not a single model fix, so all the bugs on the game's models still there aswell as other bugs. They should also review all the units gear as there're things that don't make sense, like not enough slots on some units... units with much more ammo (grenades & smk nades)... and they should also review the gear that you've on the main campaign; RG nades instead M67s for example. Manualy install the BattleEye could solve our MP problems at the time of join a server, i've to try it. Let's C ya

Hi, good news; but i bet that most of the bugs that i, and others, did found on the v1.07 gonna be present on the v1.08 and any future version. Let's C ya ---------- Post added at 01:35 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:40 AM ---------- Hi, after try the v1.08 in MP... - I've seen only four servers hosting the v1.08 (one of 'em was using the ACEMod). - I was kicked (for an unknown/not named reason) from those three servers. - The message advertising that the v1.07 is available for download appears when you enter in the servers browser list. - After host a MP coop (alone) in SAP Everon, when i'd closed the game, the screen appeared blueish grey and locked my computer; i'd await 1'5mins before do a manual reset. Those has been my 1St steps with the v1.08. Let's C ya

Hi, i'd seen something like that for a UH-60s pack released back in the day for the ArmA1, i don't remember the addon name or addon maker's name... but i think that's possible that the UH-60s pack still be available on Armedassault.info; there was a youtube video with the release showing the corrected anims too. Hi, some more bugs. - That thing (i think that's part of the vest's neck protector) appears in the middle of your sight when you're aiming with a side gun, until now only with the USMC T. Leader & Grenadier, that are the same models. Wrong Sounds: - The M249 uses what i think that should be the M240 & Mk48 sound and viceversa. Let's C ya

Hi, i don't think that the ArmA2 be "too focused in realism"; it leaks of many features that you would spect to have in the so called... "ultimate realism simulator". From the construction of the models passing by the damage system to the gaming/playability options, where many things just are not there; like shoot from the cargo of the vehicles... . Let's C ya -

Hi, the AH-1Z didn't already had HUD on the ArmA1 so wasn't a big surprise that it didn't had it on the ArmA2 and neither on the OA/CO; i don't think that they gonna ever add it. - AH-1Z Viper guide. They could give us the AH-64 HUD... but i doubt it, "they're too bussy...". Let's C ya

Hi, another bug. - On the training/Bootcamp, you can't steer the parachute (left, right arrow keys) or control your falling speed (up, down arrow keys), so you gonna fail that training no matter what; conclusion... you can't unlock part of the Armoury content. Let's C ya

Hi, as keyboard user + mouse use & owner of a wheel + ruders... i think that the analogic (progressive) throttle & brake will be great; auto-detected by your settings (keyboard + mouse = slow, normal & fast on the keys[max or to the max]) & keyboard + mouse + wheel (joy or pad) should able you to map booth throttle & brake as progressive. That's what i think that will be the best. Let's C ya

Hi, i'll like that there would be a "new" version of the ArmA2 campaign that don't were made with specific characters (Cooper, O'Hara.. etc...) but with the same units kind (grenadier, marksman.. etc...) and also with a weapons pool between missions so if you take a weapon in the field during a mission... you could choose have it for your next mission; also a beter weapons selection on each mission with all the US special weapons at your disposal. I'll also like to be able to play the campaign using my custom face and be able too of choose one of the game's faces, this will increase the inmersion in the history line of the campaign and will also increase the care for the happenings during the campaign. Other thing that i'll like (but this is off-topic) will be mini campaigns focused on the regular infantry for each side... Marines, NAPA, Russian Federation, Chdkz & CDF... following the campaign's happenings from each side; and giving a better idea of what the HQ of each side haves in mind when they transfer their orders to their troops. Let's C ya
