Hi, a new one, the 1St time that i see it. - What You've Under The Skirt baby?. the 1St time that i see this on MP; i'd seen an incoming SU-34, it was only showing half of the hull, the nose, tails and wing tips plus all the weapons that it had. Then... one of our M1's (M1A2) was showing the belly part plus the wheels and tracks; the gunner on his seat and the driver too, they had a repair truck behind 'em and it looked like that. I didn't seen any other vehicle on the area, was during a EVO. Also the ground vehicles (that M1A2 and the Rep. Truck) were jumping for no reason, several meters, like 4 or 5m but wizout get any damage after touch the ground; at least on the Rep. Truck... i'd seen the M1A2 crew jump off soon after this began to happen, but it may be because the SU-34 was firing the rockets at 'em. Let's C ya

Hi, ArmA2 + OA = CO. If you want to increase the number of servers where play and vanila content... then go for that; here in spain the ArmA2 is 9.96€ and the OA was 19.99€ the last year. So ArmA2 + OA = CO for 30€ (retail booth) is not expensive, if you find a place with a better price for the retail CO... then go for that. About your 2Nd computer... don't try to install the OA/CO on it, it'll explode. Let's C ya -
Hi, the ArmA2 uses the same weapon sway while aiming down the sights animation that the ArmA, OA too; they didn't touched it, just allowed you to walk slowly while doing so. It improves it... but's very far from be realistic; is just the same but 0'5secs slower. BIS didn't changed the weapon sway animation from the ArmA in a sufficent enough way, they didn't even touch the side weapon (pistols) animation, aiming or not down the sights; so i can say without any fear to be wrong, that they don't gonna do nothing about. They had more than 5 years to do it and they didn't nothing about it. Let's c ya

Hi, the more i think about it... the more i get to the same conclusion; it must have all the needed code/things of the OA as CO to work in MP, this for me means extremely bad performance and no ArmA2 (only) addons compatibilty, but i guess that we'll have to wait for know it for sure. I'll preffer BIS to work on fix all the existing models, code & textures (over all UV mapping) bugs on the ArmA2, then OA and later on the DLCs than releasing something that don't fix any of the broken or half broken things. In spain we call this: A Swill. Let's C ya

Hi, the ArmA2 MP is fun and can be much better if you find good players that form a squad with, however... most of the COOP missions are not as good as they used to be before the JIP but with the good squad can be really fun; it's a matter of luck... somedays you feel like Einstein talking about the universe to a class full of 7yo kids and some half retarded... and other times you feel in good company and capable of achive a common goal. Buy/use the ArmA2 + OA = CO only allows you to have access to more servers where play, if you like the game's gameplay style then i think that may deserve the purchase; about the "warping..." that's a "game's trademark" and can't be solved. even if you've a 45ms ping you'll still see "warping" units, players and AI; but i preffer this game to what my sweirdish fellas of DICE have on the BC2. If you want to increase the number of servers where play, then buy the OA and make the CO, if you're fine then stay with what you've; that's all what i can tell ya. let's C ya

Hi, another bug pressent on the v1.08. - Tracers. - Various things have/show/use much fatter tracers than others. - Kord HMG. - Fairchild A-10A Thunderbolt II. There're more, but i don't remember 'em right now... on the Kord HMG they're so fat during the dawn or tusk that you don't see the target because the tracers diameter. Let's C ya

Hi, i guess that the Reinforcements will give you the option to not re-write the ArmA2 aswell the OA if you already have 'em, maybe it don't haves the OA's U.S. army units and only have the OA's OPFOR & RES units needed for the campaign; but that's just a guess... the PMC's campaign sure that requires the OA's yankee army units... so i don't know how they'll really solve this. What i know is that if this is like the OA... i wont buy it because it wont let me use the Mods/Addons that i use to improve the look and performance of the ArmA2; aside that i don't need the BAF and much less the PMC. Hi, an annoying bug that was pressent already on the ArmA: - Commands/Keybinds That Don't Work. - As commander of ground vehicles, the Slow and Fast orders don't work if they're setted on the Right Shift (slow), Right Ctrl (fast). In the practic you only have Forward & Halt (on the arrow keys), Fast if you hit twice the up arrow key, you can live with this... but there many times where the Slow advancing speed will be more usefull to fire at scatered NME infantry, scann the area etc. Aswell the direct Fast advancing speed order can minimize the damage of incoming RPGs and even aboid 'em at times; rightnow you can't advance slow in a vehicle so you can't scann properly for NMEs, pass by urban crossroads wiz care among many other things. I don't know if assign the Slow & Fast keybinds to other keys that don't be the Right Ctrl & Shift key will work... but having 'em binded to 'em don't works. Let's C ya

Hi, yeah man, i had a human pilot, a fella that told me to step in as gunner; we died several times because: - As gunner i wasn't able of target (using the keys) any NME vehicle. - As gunner my cannon wasn't shooting bullets, just blanks. He didn't had the 'Manual Fire' turned On as pilot, that's why he told me to step in. Let's C ya -
Hi, i've taken the role of AH-1Z and KA-52 gunner a few times in MP and i''ve been unable to target nearest NME vehicle with the Hellfires or the KA-52 missiles; most of times seems that i was firing blanks with the AH-1Z cannon too. This happens always on EVO & DOM coop missions, with the difficulty settings set as Recruit, Regular and Expert, and i don't know why... someone knows why this happens?. Let's C ya

Hi, with the ArmA2 v1.08 i suffer many disconnections due to the BattleEye "failing to initialize" or something like that... as players, there's something that we can do about it?; i've already installed manualy the last ArmA2 BattleEye's version on the ArmA2 folder. Can i do something else, as player, to avoid be disconnected so often?. Let's C ya

Hi, after have been playing more than 3h x day during all this week... i can confirmate that copy your BattlEye folder from the \ArmA2\ folder to: "C:\Documents and Settings\whatever\Mis documentos\ArmA 2\" (for the spanish). Or to... "C:\Documents and Settings\whatever\My documents\ArmA 2\" (others) Fix the BattlEye disconnections/kicks; now who should report this to BattlEye?, we or BIS?. Let's C ya

Hi, yeah!, i guess that there's the answer to my 1st question; now i'll like to know if: - Will this pack come with IR sights for the weapons?. - Will this pack allow us to zeroing the DLC weapons sights?. - Will this pack allow us to zeroing too the ArmA2 weapons sights?. - Will this pack include the Takistan buildings, objects & units?. - If we install this pack, we'll have to install the OA update patches?. - Can this pack be installed as a Mod?. that's something that i'll like to know too. Hi, two bugs related to the overdone UV maps and the NVGs. - Plasma: If you walk near the shore with the water under your feet... you'll see weird moving things arround your character model and it's weapons, hollywood plasma style. *EDIT: During the dawn, dusk and basicaly in any low light condition you see "the plasma thing" too, without NVGs too, because the unreal UV mapping that covers everything that shouldn't have a wet lube or glass shape, human skin, weapons, vehicles, plants, threes buildings and surfaces that IRL are not reflectant and are not covered in wet lube. - It's Christ-Smash!!: When you see a distant fence by night it looks like that, even without the fog, you can also see that weird effect shown on that house that belongs (again) to the overdone UV maps; it can be seen also without the NVGs, by night on most of the distant houses/buildings. Hi, i've seen that advertised on Armaholic.com too but there's a problem... i didn't seen a single refference (on that adversiment) to the requirement of the OA, it only says "for the ArmA2", AFAIK those DLCs are only for the OA or ArmA2+OA=CO. Will be great if it were clarified so those who don't have (or use) the OA know what the requirements really are. Let's C ya

Realistic handling & suspension on wheeled vehicles

Hi, i've the impression that many if not most of the vehicles on the ArmA2 don't have their real weight and i think that this could have something to do with the vehicles handling ingame; aside of the fact that some vehicles seem to have chewing gum suspensions. Let's C ya -
Hi, the bullets flying arc of the AK (aka parabolic) begins at between +100 to +125m and the place "where you see bullets" comming out from the barrel it's behind the aim point a bit below it's tip; so you've to guess too much in gaming terms. They added an unreal default zoom value to fix this same thing on the MP5s, the MP5s have iron sights (IRL) similar to the G3 & CETME C, also somehow similar too to the ones on the CETME L. the only way to fix this issue on the ingame AK-47s & AK-74s will be to retouch the rear sights of all the 47s & 74s to make 'em more wide, maybe also elevating a bit the points (on the model) where the bullets come out from; the fact that the AKs are placed lower on the units hands (on every soldier model) may have something to do with this too; i not sure on this last part. In therms of gameplay the AK models could be more improved, i'd felt tempted to bring back my M4s pack to the ArmA2 (from the ArmA) and add all the ArmA's eastern weapons too, this time with corrected muzzle flashes (for AKs & M4s/M16s) and also the placement height on the units hands, as i did with my M4s pack; but i'll need help and im tired of fix or improve what BIS did wrong on pourpouse or for lazyness in 1St place. Hi, thanks for clarify it to me; i've seen it on Domination W and E and also on Evolution MP missions, many times without even see a single NME aircraft on the air, many time before anyone can have access to any aircraft and wizout have shotdown anything and having just two players on the server, me and a fella. More than half of the times that i've seen it, it comes with a hacker too creating those silly towers of objects and with a equaly silly team killing serie. Let's C ya

Hi, another bug, this time the SU-25 wheels. - Wheels Out At +200m From Viewer: I'd seen it yesterday when we had x3 SU-25s flying over our heads in MP; seems that the SU-25s do not engage on foot or motorized players when they depleet the ATG weapons and only have cannon ammo for attack/defence. - I'd also seen more "standing dead" AIs too, i think that this happen with script made team leaders, i'd also seen a prone team leader that was permanenly crwaling like a snake but moving at the same speed than when you're sprinting and also as jogging; i'd killed him and remained in the same possition. It was also script created, and this thing seems to be very common. Let's C ya

Hi, another one that's "less important" and maybe not a bug but a mistake for sure; i still think that's a bug anyways. - Force Recon BDU vs The Granny Crewm@n. As can be clearly seen on the screenshot... the crewmen woodland BDU pants are more used than the Force Recon's woodland BDU pants, not only that... - the Force Recon's BDUs don't have treads of the knee reinforcements (don't even have knee reinforcements). - the colours are closer to the spanish army BDU colours than to the yankee woodland. I think that someone mistaken the extensions on the O2 and now we've what we've... in fact the way that the granny crewm@n wear the custom glasses may be related with the bug of the Force Recon FAC, that one that if you zoom out in 1St person... you see the glasses in the center of the screen. I think that the Force Recons should use the crewmen's pants or at least their UV maps, in that way at least will look as if they had reinforcements on the knees or a real BDU. Let's C ya

Hi, some more bugs. - Squad Designated Marksman's Shadows. - Officer's Cap. It don't only don't have shadow LOD, it also haves a hole in V form on the model. - M40A3 No Shadow In 1St person View. - Gollum..! My tREAsuRE!!. When unarmed and crouched... the character walks like Gollum. - Granny Crewm@n. The crewmen show/use the glasses that the user choose in his/her profile as a granny will.
