Hi, when you are stopped and aiming with your side arm, the animation should be like this: Instead what we've now, that's the right stance; for lower your profile you should advance the body and place the left elbow forward (resting) on your left knee; but that's another history. Let's C ya -
Hi, i'll gladly pay for an ArmA2 USMC DLC (on a disc) that had things like: - AH-1W (TOWII). - AH-1W (Hellfire). - UH-1N. - CH-46E. - CH-53E. - EA-6B Prowler. - F18-D. - EFV. - Hercules M88A2 (W) & (D). - HH-60H. - HTTV. - LAV-25III (D). - LCAC. And with weapons like: - M45. - SIG P226. - SIG P226 SD. - Mossberg 590. - M1A Squad. - M249 Mod 0. - M21. - M21 SD. - M79A1 Blooper. - LAW-72 (disposable). With a pair of long campaigns, one as grunt and other as a Force Recon Operator; i'll also add Marines in 2003's equipment, with Interceptor IOTV. Also some kind of resistance with western weapons, FNCs, H&K 33 or something like that... all, for the ArmA2. I'll pay a lung for that, ever that it comes in a DVD. Let's C ya

Hi, i've a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 1Gb, i don't remember if i had the HDR on Low or Normal too, but the Vsync was enabled, and the View distance was 2800 or 3000m, from time to time i step in a tank and like to shoot the AI before they shot to me; the PP was Off for sure and the AA was set to Normal, and yeah man.. i defrag the HD after install anything. Still don't know how it performed so bad back on the v1.54, the 4fps thing offended me very much; i may give it another chance once the v1.59 be an Official Patch and not a Beta or RC. Let's C ya -

Hi, hey boys, we're getting very off topic here and almost creating a personal issue in here, non of you are named Zipper5; so thanks for your replys but the question wasn't directed at you. I gonna try to set the Video Memory (in game, ArmA2) to default, and check if that improves the performance, i've a Nvidia GTX 285 with 1Gb, never had an ATI... ; and the OA's settings that i had on the OA/CO were different: - Texture Detail: High. - Video Memory: High. - Anisotropic Filter: Normal. - Antialiasing: Normal. - Terrain: High or Normal (don't remember). - Objects Detail: High. - Shadow Detail: High and Normal (tryed booth). - Post Processing: Off. - Interface Res: 1280x1024. - 3D Resolution: " " ". - View Distance: 2500m. And with those settings... i had 4fps in a campaign mission; i don't belive that any patch will raise the 4fps that i had back with the v1.54 to at least 24fps in that mission. Something on the game's code should change very much for such thing to happen and i don't think that even when it's clear that the OA is beeing improved, maybe even very much, the game's performance isn't where the improvement focus seem to be, it seems to be focused on AI improvements and MP code; and sure that the next OA patch won't be the last one, thing that we can't say for sure about the next ArmA2 patch. Hi, can you ensure me Zipper5, that the OA/CO performance will be better than Min 22fps Max 40fps?, with this same game's settings?: This are my computer specs: If you can ensure me (without any error margin) that the OA will have the same or better performance in SP as in MP than the ArmA2 v1.08 (22 to +40fps) on my computer... i may give it a try once the next Official Patch be released; can you ensure it to me?. Hi, im telling you man... the OA was running at 4fps in a mission back on the v1.54, while the lowest fps that i had with the ArmA2 were 17fps on the 2nd benchmark; in game... the lower fps that i had were 22fps and this was during the ArmA2 campaign mission where you (the Razor Team) begin on top of a building, have to hunt a sniper, then assist some infantry on the ground to reach the town hall's square and some other task that i don't remember rightnow. With the OA v1.54 i had much worst fps than with the ArmA2 v1.08. That's why i don't install again the OA to make the CO, aside of the fact that i don't need the army because i've the Marines. Hi, another one, this time with the Sea. UFOs And The Sea: Someone was transporting the MHQ with a MH60, when i'd spawned... i did it on the sea (as the pilot didn't said that was going to take airlift the MHQ to the next AO) i'd looked (cursing and calling names...) to the shore and that's what i'd seen; a serie of growing and decreasing blue, white and black "blobs" in the shore line. I think that's because the .rvmat of the water and the PP set to: Very High. It wasn't static, it was moving like the front red light in the Knigth Rider, that made that Firebird Trans-Am even, more uggly (in comparison with the Firebird TA 73'/76'); that things appeared after a certain number of waves on the sea. Hi, i insist that if the AIs could be incapacitated the number of shots to put 'em off the game will decrease. As they can't be incapacitated... they fire until the last second, they don't have blood losts or anything like that; so... as they don't fall incap... you need more shots to get ridd of 'em because your only way of get rid of 'em is kill 'em. I think that the we should be able of incapacitate the AIs, and also in MP; there should be a Game's Logic on every mission that allow us to call for support and take the incap NME AIs into custody, after apply some 1St aid to 'em on the field until the Med-Evac comes to take 'em to our FOB or to our LST. Hi, with the ArmA2, i get between 40 to 22fps with this game's settings: And this computer settings: But... on the OA... i'd get between 21 to 4fps, with the game's settings tweaked down a bit. I have no performance problems on the ArmA2; the OA is a performance problem itself for me. Let's C ya

Hi, some more bugs on the v1.08. Not Working Ladder: The ladder on that building don't works, but isn't the only thing that don't works as you'll spect... you can shoot as much as you want through it's 1St floor's glasses without break 'em, tear 'em down or leave any trace that you've open fire through 'em. Inaccurate Geometry LOD: On that same building the Geometry LOD is not very accurate, the units that you place on the roof are "floating". Red Lines: On the Eotech sights, you see a pair or red lines over and under the crossair, it appears sometimes when you've the normal zoom level and also with the most distant zoom level; it don't happens with the bigger zoom level. Hi, yeah man, i'd missed that info because as i don't follow the OA news because i don't use it and i didn't seen anything about an ArmA2 v1.09 pach. Maybe... will be good if we (the ArmA2 users) could have a short changelog info about this patch, like bugs fixes... improvements... and the usual stuff. But, release it on a patch or beta patch destinated to the OA isn't the best way to inform us (the ArmA2 users) that they didn't stopped working on the ArmA2... and that we could spect the M1911 to get fixed... the M14-A1 (aka M14 DMR) to have fixed grip animation... the .rvmat that screws the custom faces to be removed... the net code that makes the KA-52 upper rotor blades to don't rotate in MP etc etc etc... . I didn't seen any info about a new ArmA2 patch and still without see any official new about it. Let's C ya -

Hi, the OA still beeing developed, while the ArmA2 has been advandoned; last thing we seen for the ArmA2 was the patch v1.08 and that was long long ago... last thing that we've seen for the OA was that today they gonna release a new patch; so i think that this is the current state of the things: - ArmA2 = Dead. - OA = Alive. Hi, will be pimp if the destroyed vehicles instead use the BIS method, they use wrecks like those M113 wrecks; maybe doing two different wrecks models of each vehicle and randomizing 'em (when get destroyed) somehow, with different burning points. Like fire comming out the hatches... exhaust... , with scaled down flames. I don't know if its possible to do this but it'll be very pimp and will look much better aside of add alot to the inmersion. Hi, this is not a bug itself but is a weird thing allowed by the current animations. Remi at the left Elsifilitico at the right: there we've a player imitating a chicken (elsifilitico) while other player is looking stunned the scene (remi). Is weird that the anims don't allows you to walk and fire propperly... but allow you to act as i chicken; i though that i'd needed the OA (and the army...) to do that. Let's C ya

Hi, another bug: Sky Mask: - When those units look in certain directions you see that the sky mask is not pasted to the rest of the soldier model. - When you (as player) are one the units with that sky mask... it don't uses any of the glasses on the player's list. This last thing don't happens with the Spetznats sky mask: Let's C ya

Hi, i've entered to play in MP and most of the servers just gone, hit "Refresh" only did that most dissapeared, same as move the arrow keys ever the +35 playable servers that i use to find on the list, that made 'em dissapear too; it ended like this: Servers Dead: Most appeared in orange and with pings close to 150 when they use to be under 100, but hit refresh or pass over 'em using the arrow keys made 'em dissapear; this is relatively common. The screenshot is from like 1h ago. Any idea?. Let's C ya

Hi, i've the OA, but it's performance was really poor back in the v1.54; i run the ArmA2 at between 40fps and 24fps when in the bigger city with lots of infantry, vehicles etc. The OA runs (in the v1.54) at between 17fps to 4fps during the campaign, is true that in some missions it runs fine, at between 36fps and 24fps; but that's not the norm. Aside of that... the ArmA2 content still as in the ArmA2 when you make the CO, same models and textures bugs; so the only thing that the OA do with the ArmA2 content is run OA's scripts on 'em too, but don't fixes any of the actual bugs present in the ArmA2 v1.08. The OA runs terribly bad in comparison for some reason, that's why i don't install it; the only thing that i like of the OA is the M14 Aimpoint. Seems that what was making the servers browser list to show so few servers was the Windows Updater, it installed some more things today, so yeah.. seems that i had something running (downloading) on the background, and i think that that was the reason behind the problem. I was surpised because in for example the BC2... didn't felt any lag while playing or any issue as for example a reduction of the servers number in the BC2's servers browser, also my ping seemed unaffected by this. Now the ArmA2 v1.08 browser list is fine again, i guess that was because of the MS Auto-Updater. Let's C ya

Hi, you've to make it a 512x512 .jpg file that takes less than 96Kb; anything that don't be a multiple won't work; it can't be 512x1024 (for the custom faces), or things like 800x600, or 800x800. It must be things like 128x128... 256x256... 512x512... etc. Let's C ya -
Hi, i didn't had anything running on the background (AFAIK) the times that this happened, wasn't a single day, happened during various not consecutive days; and i was able to play other games without any connection related problem. But two weeks ago or so the windows told me that there were various updates and i'd hit Ok so it began to download, but they downloaded and are installed; no message of any other windows update or anything. I close everything before play in MP. About the ArmA's custom faces... yeah man, i don't do any more ArmA's faces because i think that i've made enough for everyone to find one for 'em, and i don't do ArmA2 custom faces because BIS screwed it up when they made the head model (arms included) glow in the dark, because the .rvmat the covers the faces (arms included) in the same way that a glass, screwing up the colours, tones and gamma on any .jpg custom face; aside of that... im so deceptioned with BIS leaving the ArmA2 that i don't even have installed any program for open textures do addons or whatever. BIS has putted me off the addons making "bussines". Let's C ya
