Hi, to use the custom faces Black Dragon, just rename the face that you like to: "face.jpg". Now copy it to your: "C:\Documents and Settings\"USER"\My documents\ArmA Other Profiles\"Player Name". Folder; if you have various profiles... just copy it inside each one. About the Bruce Willys face... sorry, i fear that the ArmA face texture is too big as for transform the OFP face versions that we had. So sorry, but i don't gonna do it, but sure that some other much better texturer than me will do; just be patient... it'll get some day. Let's C ya

Hi, i've putted all the 19 woodland camoed faces in a .rar file that has been released at: www.armedassault.eu i'll like to do a stand alone addon, a faces pack... with those faces and with one more face that i should do; but the problem is that i don't know and no one that i know, knows how to do a working config for the ArmA that makes the faces work, any help on this field will be very apreciated. I hope that you like those custom faces. Let's C ya

Hi, i think that that 6 colours BDU looks great; and for the eastern style units... i'll vote for keep the camo and add just the kaki BDU's; for the western fryendly units i'll choose that 6 colours BDU's and Nam tiger stripe for the SF units, with a Coyote Tan eliminator III vest or just the woodland one; i'll change some more things in those reduced armed forces, i'll give 'em some Nam UH1's to the western units and an RHS MI24 for the eastern units; but that (ovbiously) is somethin' that should be done once the propper tools be released. But anyways... good job there. Let's C ya

Hi, i think that will be really good to have some female units to choose between, if they can grow us that means that they can carry and use weapons; that's a much more easy task than grow childs and requires much less care & resources. Let's C ya

Hi, well Hamis... i don't know, the ArmA M4's A1 models are better than "my" stolen M4's pack models, plus that i should do God knows how many big (2048x1024) textures instead of 18 or 23 515x512 textures, plus that i don't know exactly how the ArmA textures work. And i can't do the same camo schemes with the default ArmA M4A1 texture, is just chaotic and i can't figure out which part is which. But what i was thinking was to do some camoed G36's pack using the default G36's models and textures. I think that will be very *easy too, to do a green vakelite G3 using the default model & textures, and i'll be very happy if i could do a Steyr AUG's A1/A2 pack also in those camos: OD Green, Woodland, Coyote Tan, White, and two different Winter camos. In a begining sounds easy. But that... no wip_m4's pack for the ArmA in a begining. Let's C ya *Edit

Hi, i've retouched the default M16A2 texture to change the black "plastic" stock, grip and front hand grip texture for make it look like as a Diemaco of those that's like a M16A2; but i don't know how to use it in game. I've the .bmp & the .psd (for if the texture need more work) is some one want it... PM me. I'll also like to try to do some camo textures for the default G36's A,K & C of the game, using the default textures, if some one could send me the .bmp's i'll be glad of try it; in wasted Coyote Tan, Woodland and two different Winter camos too, but i'll had to see 'em first for know if i could or not. Hi, this that i gonna say is not a bug; but i think that will be a good idea for a future ArmA patch. Will be good if the ArmA had the same scripts that the Earl & Suchey USMC Addon Pack 1.0, not only the same weapons smoke effect (much better than the ArmA MP Demo, in my opinion) also the wounded/blackout scripts. Hi, yes, i was wrong, but is that God knows where's the readme.txt now... it was a great pack/unpack OFP tool, in my opinion the best that i seen. But if i try to re-pack again the "weapons.pbo" of the ArmA MP Demo 1.03 it gives me 1 error message packing, but it continues packing anyways; and then when i run the Demo... this tells me that: "Corrupted file detected" or something like that, so seems that there's nothing that i can do. i gonna keep the .bmp & .psd files in the HD some time i guess. Hi, the program that i used to open the: "weapons.pbo" inside the ArmA MP Demo 1.03 was the: "WinPBO 1.1" by ORCS (if im not wrong...) i don't know if that could re-compress the extracted DIR into a working ArmA .pbo ; but it's easy of know if it'll work... but my initial intention was to share this texture with some one that could use it for make a stand alone addon, that the players/addon makers/mod teams out there could use if they want; and as the base texture is made by BIS... the credits part should be easy. And same for the G36's; using the ArmA default models we'll waste less time with resoults good enought (i hope) i'll need the .paa 1St to check out what i could do for everyone out there and ensure that i could do textures at the height of the ArmA graphics. But anyway... modding the ArmA MP Demo "weapons.pbo" that will unable me and the other players that may change they'r file, to don't be able of play in MP; and until Febrary... this is the most close that i gonna be to the ArmA. Hi, i think that the ArmA engine couldn't manage or serve to do a post nuclear RPG due to the nature of the ArmA and it's limits; you can't do a GURPS based play system, you couldn't even do a much less complex RPG like the Vampire, Werewolf, Ciberpunk or the Shadow Run. Let aside things like The Call of Cthulhu and we don't gonna even name the Lord Master because just the idea... makes me laught. But will be pimp to have a post nuclear island and a number of addons of good quality based on some of those RPG's, the Ciberpunk have good weapons and vehicles books with lot of usefull info and a kind of blue prints that will perfectly serve for do addons; i think. Let's C ya P.S: Rest in peace, James Brown (the R'n'S King) may God keep you in his mighty glory. -

Hi, i never fired with the minimi, but i fired with the MG3 and i was able of fire 1 single shot; but it was with it on the tripod, that i think that's more controlable. But i agree, i haven' fired in the ArmA with the sniper rifles, but a lot of people say that the bullet falls above the center of the aiming cross; and that's very bad. Other very bad thing is... that the M4 Aimpoint have burst fire!! that's like a blasphemy... the M4 should have just auto and single, and the weapons that i heard beeing shooted could need stronger and more realistic or better recorded sounds. I haven't try to open any .pbo yet, but i still have in the HD some of the tools that i used to steal addons (as others said) do camoed packs of M4's, and change textures of some things; i don't know if they work but i think that they don't gonna do it... in armedassault.eu they released not so long ago a pack of tools done by my "fryend" Kegtys so you could try with those... i personally gonna wait until some person release other and better tools, for example BIS. Hi, i only have the demo rightnow; and i've noticed some things, among others... the weird aim shake that i don't gonna say what it reminds me to (because it costed me a warning level) but it moves too much when you're walking and aiming; i'm able of shoot in the real life in single shot, to a wooden target at 200m and advance towards it shooting in single shot, 2 magacines (40 bullets) but im not able to hit an AI at 50m in burst fire with a M4 (that have burst & single shot!?) how's that!?, the sight moves too much in comparison to how it moves in the real life, in flahspoint or in the AAO; and i don't know what those old "style" tracers keep doing there; if i had been one of the game makers i'll had done something like the BN tracers 1.24 and i'll had adapted it to be used by the weapons and not by the units. But that's another history. The 3D movement of the sight is not well done at least in the demo. Let's C ya

Hi, i've painted over the east officer screenshot released atArmedassault.eu some time ago, plus the rest of the ArmA 1.0 units. And this will be my proposition of the uniform of a royal guard to do stupid parades, guards on doors, receptions of foreign and own VIP's and things like that. For the work (fast reaction team & duty) uniforms... i'll propose to modify the East tank crew and give 'em some yankee style ammo pouches & a pasgt; and i'll use the yankee soldier model with the eastern soldier camo pattern; one with a blue (almost black) beret... and other with helmet. I think that it'll look good; and i keep voting for the uggly and shitty CETME-L LC & LV as weapons for 'em all. Let's C ya -

Hi, for a Royal Guard i think that just mod the East Officer textures and give 'em some G3 will be enought, the blue colour is a colour always related to the royalty, change that silly looking dish beret by some white one with some blue, red & gold trash will be enought; and just put some stripes in they'r pants and remove those lower pockets on they'r jacket plus put some more gold buttons on it... and you'll have an adecuate royal guard for stupid parades, for look pimp in front of foreign visits or just to suck up a 2h guard in some door. That's what i think. Let's C ya -
Hi, i think that for those South Sahrani army a pasgt helmet will be enought, affordable and not too expensive; for the vest... i think that early 90's yankee vests will do the job; also not expensive and if you buy 'em used... then much less. For the weapons i think that G3's will be a good cheap choice, or even better... cetme's C and cetme's L, a cheaper AR that can be bought in good number and that will be asy of find anywhere, from Afrika to South America. Hi, that APC looks good, may be also good to do a version where it had the cargo place roof hatches opened and that the soldiers where as looking arround for possible hostiles; may it just serve for be more easyly killed by the AI... but may look good, at least it'll add a bit of randomness to the escort/patrol convoys. Hi, a pimp addition to the tanks, IFV's, CFV's, helicopters and even the planes, will be to make 'em splitt the empty shells by where each vehicle will do it; like the PSC BTR-T's 1.1 or a T-72/T-90 tanks pack that were released for the OFP some time ago. Later on RHS or ORCS released a version 1.1 of those tanks under they'r tag and that required they'r 27Mb tank crew units. But anyway... that will help to scare other players and will be a pimp thing to see in game. Let's C ya -

Hi, good job Jackal, let's hope to have soon the tools needed; could you tell me how many textures the BIS G36's A,K & C have? i keep having in mind to do some desert, OD green & maybe winter wasted versions; and with the tools i think that will be pimp but a waste of video memory to paste at the picattiny that Surefire flashlight of the BIS M4. Let's hope that you advance a bit more on those guns; let's C ya

Hi, i think that the game's patches should just fix the bugs found in the game engine; the community addons should be in my opinion... 100% appart of the game itself or it's patches. If BIS some day decide that they will include 1 or 2 car, unit, tank, APC, IFV, CFV, weapon, chopper, plane or boat into a patch, they should or better said... *could... hire that man/woman to work for BIS as the resoult of win some kind of "competition" where the award be the question of "do you want to work with us, beeing payed?", because afther all... if the addon comes in a patch and with time it's a requirement to enjoy part of the content of the game (like play online with other players) then BIS will proffit from the work of this man/woman too so... or you are robbed miserably... by that Eula "thing..." or they'll have to pay the man; and as we all know... less people in the table = more food for us. Non RPG style weapons in the Heavy slot?

Hi, don't really make much sense that the units *can't carry more than one main weapon; like: M4/M16 and a MP5SD5 or SD6, some people said about the jump hability that should remain removed because of the bouncing players (CS style, AAO style, BF and those) but that's a blame of those players, not of the game; with the hability of carry more than one main weapon may happen the same; but again... this preventing meassure (if it were, and not an engine limit) finnally dammages more the realism in the units than help the players; you can jump as a rabit, but sure that with a M249, a M240B or a MG3 firing at you... the only place that you'll be jumping to, will be to your grave.
