@pang The helmet on my pictures resembles the HGU-55. I know it's not perfect, I make only small corrections now, which you see in the next picture (the back goes up). Anyway, you can change it, once released, as you like, because it will be available in MLOD Â @marine26thmeu The visor is animated, as seen on one of the pictures. I'll probably make the O2 mask/hose and the Straps holding it removeable, the needed selections are made. More Images: 14 16 17

Possible to embedd software media player
vektorboson replied to Balschoiw's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
OFP only knows a very small subset of HTML, it doesn't know many tags, and I guess that OFP developers didn't embed IE into the game So you obviously can't embed any plugins/activeX whatsoever into the OFP "Browser". -
The pilot will be released separately from the F-117A; I'll probably make a little bit different textures for the F-117 pilot. Well, this should be standard for every addon, I guess. Thanks for your criticism. Actually I think, that I need to change the helmet a bit, since it doesn't go up on the back like you see in all pictures. The hose and the mask are OK, guessing from first ingame shots. I took the BIS pilot as a base, but I want to use another model (I'm waiting for someone's reply). I want it as accurate as needed, but there are some mistakes and errors I have to live with it, unless you want to take it forever to finish this guy. EDIT: btw, something can't be flatter and rounder, perhaps I'm misunderstanding you!
-
Ok, this are the latest pictures: @JGreyNemo Thanks for your offer, but I will try first to make the textures myself. I don't know whether I can texture a good flight suit, but I'll try. Thanks also for the helmet pics, could be usefull.
-
Yes, yes and yes. The Pilot and the F-117 will be MLOD, too.
-
I have to admit, that the mask still looks weird to me, but perhaps you're right, it looks ok with the helmet on. Yes, this is what I intended to make. From pictures I seen, the F-117 pilots have darker helmets (or it seems like that) than the "stock" usaf pilots; so I have to make two skins. And I'll try doing it myself before asking someone else. Thanks, I'm working really hard on them!
-
Thanks guys, here are three more pictures Just tell me what you think; regarding all pictures/reference photos I got, this was best I could do (and don't moan about the model, I just can't model really good). Just one question: Should I create a completely new model for the helmet, or does the original OFP-Pilot helemts suffice? I'm not really that big modeller, but I could take the challenge Â

F-117 preparing for take off: Sunset with Blackhawk and Nighthawks 4 Nighthawks rolling to runway 18C:

Here are some screenies of the F-117A again, I made the brake chute and I'm working on the ACES II-ejection seat; I may change the seat to a darker one, but the seat should fit to any other aircraft. Pics:

Well close to this comes: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> _x = 40; if ( _x mod 64 >= 32 ) then { hint "32 bit set!"; }; untested, but it should work as intended. For the 8bit you must use _x mod 16 a.s.o.

It's never to late to start modelling. You have to exercise a lot before you can make good models. So better start now learning modelling, so you can make good models when OFP 2 arrives

Retextured MiG-21 from Footmunch, with Rocket Pod and R-3 (AA-2 "Atoll") from the ACES-Project. Â
-
Nice to hear, and don't forget my offer to texture the MiG-31 and eventually the weapons! And I too, like Miles Teg, prefer Footmunch's aircraft addons. I almost don't download plane addons from anyone else; there are many advantages in Footmunch's planes: - they are very nice models - they have all the same basic functionality - you get the MLODs; you can rework them, if you like - It's very easy to retexture them - the configs are very good
-
Footmunch you're just a phenomenon! I really love your planes, and I am doing some retextures and reworks for myself (it's nice that you provide the MLODs!!!). I would like to request the MiG-31 "Foxhound": Cockpit Blueprint FAS.org Another Blueprint Pilot/Navigator Cockpit Images and other Detailed images of gear I'd even texture it myself if you provide me with very basic textures (so that I only have to exchange the files), thanks again for your great work!

I think that the sound is nice too, and I don't demand changing the sound; it's probably an encoding bug or something. Perhaps it would be better to use WSS instead of OGG, or reencoding to OGG. Other sounds are working for me without problems, so it's not a matter of Low- or High-Spec PC Â
-
@PSC Sorry, my bad, the problem applies to all BTR-T versions. I've looked into the fired-script and it's OK. Actually the 30mmHE.ogg causes lag! As I deleted it from the config, the BTR-T was working normally without causing lag when firing the 30mm gun.
-
The BTR-T looks indeed cool, but (having a rather weak PC) I noticed that as soon as the BTR-T fires it eats a lot of CPU-power, so OFP is lagging for me. It happened to me with the East/Olive-Version. I don't know why, but the shooting effect (smoke and an ejecting shell) shouldn't be that CPU-intensive. Â I'll look into the scripts when I have time...

You're completely wrong on this. Read the license agreement once more. BIS only disallows commercial exploitation of content created with O2Light. It would be against any copyright law if BIS said that "all of your work are belong to us". You have copyright on anything you create, even if you put it in public domain. Nontheless, I didn't and I won't download those Rangers, I don't see anything that would make me use those instead of BAS ones, and because of the "you may not use our work without our permission"-thingy...

You probably read the drop-tutorial and I explained that the weight/volume ratio (density) should be more than 1.25 (or was it 1.125?) to let a particle drop to the ground. So just make a particle with a velocity with positive z-value. This particle goes up into the air. If the weight/volume ratio is more than 1.25, than it should slow down and begin to drop to the ground. Just make sure that you rlifetime is long enough, or it has enough mass!

I think that I installed the fixed campaign... I tried the sniper mission again and I read all what happened after Tosev's death a.s.o. and that finish and american troops left Nogova... So is this the wrong version I installed?

Resource.bin unbinarized from bis
vektorboson replied to MINIGUN's topic in ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Copy&Paste? Â -
Yes, I know that the ground sliding is BIS 'fault', I think it has to do with the wheel-coefficient, the Geo-LOD and the distance between the land contact points. It's just annoying that the MiG-21 slides even at slow speeds, looking forward to the next version. That's OK, it happens on a lot of islands to me, that planes turn right after take off and crash into nearby hills. For my F-117 it happened on Gaia-island. I guess that the MiG-21 isn't easy to fly in real life, too. It has really short wings, so I guess that it drops at low speeds and at turning, so I imagine this is just a feature Â

Hopefully Earl is going to give the community more information than BIS does now  Nah, congrats Earl, I think there are many people who are dreaming of such an employment!

Hi, in the ActiveText-example I am using ctrlSetText to change the text of a static text-control. Please just look once more at the tutorial, thank you!
