    I repared, that most of he units have shirts with only one colour (except for example the one with the red shirt and symbols at it [or is this dirt??? biggrin_o.gif ]).

    If you like the idea, you could give shirts with more colored pattern to some of them, to create still more variety.

  3. so far my idea is to make two sections one I will call early point of resistance where they will dress in what they would have had at hand and some later point where they will dress more like what they could have stolen and getting better at dressing for battle, I wouldn't go into a fight in just a t-shirt and never in jeans....

    VERY good, this sounds great!

    Well, personally, I am still waiting for those OFP civilians, with that older clothes and leather jackets smile_o.gif They made theirselfes good as resistance units IMHO.

    But in general, I think, your units will make it perfectly!

    I remember when we were younger and went to play (scenario)paintball the first times, everyone just caught the most "military looking" clothes he had. One came out with a brown shirt, the other one even had camouflage pants, the other one had a balaclava he became as a gift some years ago, another one had nothing and tried to camouflage himself with some leafs...

    I think, this is how resistance units should look like, as they (normally) don't have anything to do with military the first time they come in contact with it. They just grab from their home, what they think it could help them the most and hit the forest...

  7. Just FYI though, you can always mute it by opening your volume options, or just tune it out.

    Well, I've tried this actually, it didn't work. Did you put the music as soundeffects?

    But it doesn't matter.

    Don't worry by now because of the script, it could take approx. one more month for me until I finish the mission. But then...  whistle.gif

    I began to play the mission with a friend of mine, and we liked it and we are going to finish it some day smile_o.gif As I wrote "began", yes, it really is hard without respawn or reviving but we respect your decision wink_o.gif

    As we could not get so far, I have only two suggestion for you for the beginning of the mission.

    As johnnyboy already wrote about the music, yes it gets a bit old when you begin the mission the 4th time, because it is pretty long smile_o.gif

    And the other suggestion: When we read in the briefing "your chopper crashed somewhere in this area (the green one)", we thought "WOW, cool, we will have to orientate ourselfes now to find the contact!"

    But then, as we started the mission, we could just pick out the GPS and knew exactly where we were. So the suggestion is, if you couldn't remove the GPS and maybe set the crashzone bigger or randomly at a diferent place (?) and place the chopper also randomly or at one of 5 or 6 appropriate places? (just suggestions rofl.gif  )

    Ok, these were some more than two suggestions, but anyway, thanks for the mission and... We are going to finish it!

    OT: Did you find time to look over your weapon-switching-script? This would be great, it would fit very well in the mission, I am making! Thx!


  9. It truly sucks that they removed the old ofp way of selecting a team through the keyboard, no idea why they did that as it was much faster and better sad_o.gif

    How was the OFP way of it?

    Was it different from selecting one colored-team-member together with shift?

    My observations led me to the knowledge ( rofl.gif ) that you actually can't select the group "WHITE". Soldiers designated to white are non-grouped.

    Maybe clear for everyone here, but this was a detail that sometimes made me sick because I didn't know it.


  10. About the goggles animated or not. BAS had that "coughing" effect if you didnt use them near BAS choppers, BAS pilots visor also made the view alittle darker.

    Its possible to make them useful.

    If just for looks it would be nice to choose animationstate in the init. That way it also could be scripted in the mission and wouldnt clutter up the actionmenu.

    @ NoRSu -> This was actually my question above when I talked about the ability of choosing to use it or not wink_o.gif

    Yes, I thought something this way, like andersson pointed it out.

  12. CWR, though, captures the spirit of OFP and improves upon a lot of the graphical aspects that are now- how can I put it any other way- repulsive.

    Even though I never gave much about good graphics...

    But this game became a whole different thing since the 24th of december... "This game", because somehow I can't call it Armed Assault anymore, don't know why...

    I'm confused... Don't know anymore, what I am playing.

    EAX already was deactivated. But it really seems to be lowplants. After reinstalling CWR (and not using lowplants) it worked (so far)!!!
