The texture has been released as a standalone file to let people create whatever they need. If you're interested I can play around with it to create camoed versions; just post some reference pics of what you'd like to be done; requests welcomed :) As for the US version - it only need according markings as the texture itself was originally intended for a US chopper and has been based off this bird. Have not seen a RAF Chinook worn out like that ;) Anyway; as said; post suggestions and we'll see what can be done about it Cheers

Glad to see it released and to have a tiny contribution. Had the updated textures ready to be used for a P'85 version back in 2008 - sadly they were never used until today... Anyway, thanks for reaching a healthy compromise and showing good community spirit that sorted all out and brought new life to this dated bird ;) cheers!

Hi, Wanting a soldier to mount a vehicle you need to tap the F-key assigned to him [F1, F2, etc.] --> then hit '4' to open up the 'get in:' menu, from which you should be able to choose from driver/passenger/gunner/commander etc. positions. To order the pilot to get you to a specific location he would need to be under your command I suppose.. If so, select everyone by ~ then hit '1' to open the 'move' menu --> switch to map [M key] and point the desired location Cheers

Just downloaded here at the office - and tested if unzips ok. Used the utility named 'IZArc' and all is fine. [except of the fact that it's still 7 hours before I can actually play it] ;/ -

That's good news :) Especially that I forgot my pen drive today...will need to wait for tommorow to download... Yet, I am very curious [just as ampd is] what content awaits for us to be discovered in the release? [edit] thx seems the answer came in sooner :P -
Very nice to say the least. Have tested each vehicle and must praise the quality of base textures. Some tweaking would be needed for normal maps; but textures look nice and 'rich' Just as a sidenote; you mind asking are the vehicles in the released pack something solely intended / created for ArmA, or are there some OFP ports among those? Asking, because they look very good - and even better then some of the addons being made for ArmA nowadays

Blouses are missing buttons on both chest and arm pockets Sleeves when rolled-up are beige -> as is the whole jacket on the inner side what's the story with the collar's shape? It seems you just copied the outline of my textures' collar but that one was from a real photo, and the collar casted a shadow [see on the link below] -> this shape that you have now is kinda... well... P U B L I C Â A N N O U C E M E N T Â / S T A T E M E N T It is as well hereby established that the textures as visible in the recent "release" as solely intended for Project'85 only are to be left as they are/were in the day of "release". Further usage of textures [as visible on the list above] as whole or parts [effects/layers] is not permitted and copying elements of those or reproducing effects on textures of models to come in the future is prohibited and will be seen as abuse and unrightful violation and usage of original artist's work. Any content exceeding/ added to the recently published 'parts of the mod' is to be produced with means as sufficient to the author not using a pixel of the released, being made by Topas. PS: Thank you for countless cooperation requests and 'work offers' but as stated I have retired from texture making now -> this is official and stands until decided otherwise. best regards Topas

Sorry for spamming Vilas, hope you will let me use this thread to say goodbye. Decided to leave this community for a bunch of reasons; most of all were practically revealed in Project'85 topic locked and censored today. Just wanted to say it has been a most rewarding experience for the most part, learned a lot thanks to kind advices of texture artists and mod leaders. Wish you all motivation and fun -> factors that vanished when 'struggle for power' between titans begun... I am an honest person who likes things to be OK, I'm not war-hungry... Gave all of my textures to Vilas, you can see those by downloading the 'parts' he split Project'85 into today... Sad I did not witness a release that would make my heart grow..and sad that leaving with a pill too bitter too swallow.. Well, do not get into personal too much, hehe All of the best to the community Thank you for a time to be remembered..

Hi guys @-=anders=- Is this considered to be fixed? I have the exactly same problem here.. Followed every step as suggested by Synide, yet no effect -> after right clicking on a folder I get "create pbo" option, but after r-clicking on a .pbo there's no 'extract'... Seems it works only one way...

Thanks Manzilla This 'deep' of yours strikes me a bit as I personaly see what has been done rather as a 'tip of the iceberg' The cold war theme itself is sure deep and if we wanna make and introduce everything what's on our wishlist... more Bundeswehr, decent representation of NVA, Brits and some worthy birds in the first place... well.. @blazer Hehe, seeing the old 'bucket' hovering in ArmA is kinda weird Cannot think of an reasonable scenario this one could be used in... Imagine it executing a fire solution on a squadron of those Tomcats, hehe anyway, thumbs up and nice to see progress in this interesting project PS; will you take on the Peggy as well?

@Punisher5555 Actually it's a mistake, I know. The pics are no more than my FRAPS shots, and were posted on the Project'85 internal forums in our Combat Photography thread. Not all of them were intended to be P'85 promo shots. This one must have somehow been mistakenly linked by Vilas. Sorry for confusion
