i like the lock timer and lock one vehicle at a time. ive actually been thinking about it too. also seems to be the only solution..and maybe they could implement the honor sustem, higher honor, more trust with the peices of metal but ofcourse they will have to add pick lockers or somethings like that. cant think...brain..hurts lol

lol hi guys, in armA we know theres night, day, rain, thunderstorm, fog, but what else do you think they might include? i think there will be hail. or maybe massive tides, or maybe since its an island, and its mostly warm there, therefore its maybe located on the equator, so shldn tthere be any hurricanes? these are just my predictions but what do you guys think?

in OFP ther was nuke, what will armA have? posibly anotehr nuke?i no we already have the harrier planes, put what massive weapon might armA have when the game comes... biological weapon? etc, give your opinions, how massive will it be, etc

wouldnt it be awesome to have foot tracks, for example when you are walking in the sand, you can leave your foot tracks behind, not forewer, but like in WoW it disapears after a while. cars and tanks have tracks, so why cant soldiers. tell me what u think, give your thoughts.

hello guys, i just want bohemia to add rag doll to soldiers. not completely ragdoll, byt tey can mix ragdoll with preanimated. it is hard to explain, but if a soldier os on a hill, and i get a head shot, maybe he should die in a prescripted death, but put the rag doll on his head, so when i shoot him, in teh head, it hinda wobles back and tothe front as hes falling to the ground. i remmerb this from a movie, where a guy shoots another guy with a deagle at point blank, and that guys head goes back 2 or 3 inches then goes front 2 and then he is DEAD lol. also make the scripted deaths, but make it so that maybe when im on a hill, and i die, the body can roll down. kinda make the preanimated deaths, but also add the high density, and mass ragdoll AFTER the pre animation. also if im in an airplane and it blows up, we dont need preanimation, we need the guy flying REAlisticallyto the ground. lol, well i hope you guys make my point. they should add at least some kind of rag doll, to make it a littttle bit more fun, so you wont go" oh, ok i shoot him now in 5 sec, and how he is going to die is like this....." you shopuld think" kk, here comes a headshot,, BOOM!!, HOLY SH..t did u c that face plant he made when he dropped, LOL i DIDDNT EXPECT THAT!" lol just a request for bohemia to add half ragdool half preanimated. eve seen games have that. thanks guys. =D great game, love it.just adding my opinion to make the game a little better. lol i use firefox =D

lol, so hows the hit point system in the soldiers work.. ..just asking. if the soldiers gets hit in his left side of the brain.. will the bullet hole be exactly rendered there, or will it be just a premade hitpoint on the head..

cz im getting my new pc in february and right now the pc im using cant run it. tahts why. and if the vehicles have hitpoints, can you shoot the gas tank, and blow it up from 1 or 2 shots? ps i could find the thingy with the what the game contains.

yes but they could add slight ragdolls lk i said. for eaxmple in giant battles its unnesessary, maybe add lk 2 arms ragdoll so ittl be diff. but when thers not a lot of ppl lets say 5 or 10 or 20 its good to add some preanimatied folllowed by ragdoll. also when i throw a nade and blow some one up, there shldnt be death animation, realistic, realitic ragdoll, lots of mass and density in the model. please understand that i believe the game is good and fun and perfect with some flaws, but i am just trying to add my ideas to make it less " im gonna kill him and i no exactly how hes going to die, and there no need to walk up to him to check what positoon he landed in, faceplant or on the back, where are his arms etc"

it's ridiculous that this oversight is still present from the original OFP, you'd think they'd have realized that a big segment of potential players are sim fanatics as well with multiple controllers. ranting aside, the only real fix is to buy all CH gear and use the program manager to combine them into one, for steering+flying nothing beats the virtual pilot pro in terms of flexiblity and ease of use.

and I took out any reference to vote anything...The admin stuff still works with no problems. This way your server admin can only administer it and no player can. If you get any more info pass it on and so will I. s/ ASU sorry, but this does not work. try to connect to your server when it is empty, and then in the chat window type in "#vote admin your_own_nickname". this will give you admin rights. the only way to disable this, that i've found so far, is to set: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">voteThreshold = 1.1;which makes it so that 110% of all players must agree with the vote to pass it. of course, this is not an optimal solution, since you cannot vote for anything (not kick, not missions etc). i prefer it this way though. thanks for that input, really appreciate it.

i have a few other questions concerning the configuration file of the demo server. after a bit of searching and some trial and error, i found out how to correctly load up a map after starting the dedicated demo server (with the -server -config switches). however, i'm a bit stumped as to how some of the settings work, as well as what other kinds of settings are available. question one: maxPlayers = x; is this broken? if i set it to 60, the server browser reports 61 slots available. am i doing something wrong, or should i always set it to "maxplayers minus 1" to get the proper result? i haven't really gotten into it so far, so i don't know if the actual limit is 60, and only the browser reports it wrong or what. question two: motdInterval = x; what is this measured in? minutes? seconds? hours? days? i've set it to five, but i don't see it popping up in game. question three: #userid somehow all the connected players get the userid 999. is it a bug, or what? enlighten me. question four: #vote admin any way to turn this off? at the moment i've had to (untried) set voteThreshold = 1.1 so that players cannot become admin by vote. of course, it's untried, so maybe that hack won't work. question five: kickduplicate = x; is this for userid to be duplicate, or username? or something else? did anyone else observe these problems/or has the answers to my questions?

*Ahem* Getting back to the discussion here: I totally agree with your post! Isn't it possible to adjust the camo of the units to where the mp-map takes place (desert, woodland)? Because right now the US soldiers stick out like sore thumbs in the grass and in the desert the opfo soldiers don't look too good.. at least let them have the SAME camo.. and it shows in gameplay. ever notice how mostly the US gets creamed in woodland maps and opfor in the desert?
