    UEFA Euro 2008

What a surprise! Congrats to Croatians for defeating one of the best football teams. This entertaining match shows how the competition is open, and how hard is to value the actual teams since as previously stated, the performance showed with the first matches never say it all. Regards, TB

Russia was physically too weak, the defense was rarely in place during spanish counter-attacks. Without even to mention the fact that Russia played without its best attackers (Arshavin...). Actually, I don't think they can beat Sweden or Greece. Regards, TB

Then you are candidate to record the US voices as far as I understand, isn't it. At the moment, that's the best we can get but if some US people (or English Speaking with US Accent) could help us in these regards then this would be much appreciated. Regards, TB

The match between Switzerland and Turkey was more than a simple match, it was definitely a battle, an impressive one to say the least. Both played well and it was a pleasant match to watch. Congrats to Turkey (They still have to beat the Czech, which isn't going to be an easy task) and to Portugal. Regards, TB

Well, if Spain would have played in such a way during the WC 2006 then it would have undoubtedly got ride of France. Their style improved a lot, they are faster and dare to attack in the middle axis instead of flanking as they are used to do. The russian defense was just surpassed. Regards, TB

Wait and see then. Spain is playing very well, the middle-offense part is very active and deliver incredibly accurate passes. Regards, TB

    UEFA Euro 2008

The first matches do rarely say it all, believe me. Just remember when the czech republic beat 3 - 0 the USA and then got beaten by Ghana 2 - 0 in the last WC 2006. Concerning the match opposing Romania to France, well, romanians formed a solid block behind, and the french attackers haven't been efficient enough to penetrate it. Without even to mention the poor way Malouda played as he didn't take any risk at all, and there is no way to win a match with such a mentality. I don't understand why Patrice Evra hasn't been introduced, though. But of course, the romanians played with their hearts and they fully deserve this point. Anyways, I hope we will stop the Dutch in their progress on friday. Regards, TB

What a grand team! Since Van Basten's era, The dutch haven't reached such a status. The dutch team is definitely impressive, and it's so far the best match of this Euro. Regards, TB

France always has some difficulties to enter major competitions, but once we find the 'good' arrangements, things usually get much better. Without Thierry Henry, the attack was kind of weak today and Ribery was tired like hell, while he is supposed to be behind most of offensive actions (Just see how he played with the Bayern). Seamingly all matches starting around 6:00 PM show a kind of low rythm and are way less entertaining than those at around 8:30 PM. Regards, TB

Wonder why France has not been mentioned at least once through this topic as a threatening team alongside with Italy or Germany, heh... a kind of déjà-vu (Back to 2006 before the start of the WC in germany when everyone was convinced that France would not reach the quarter-finals). The Mannschaft showed a great offensive tactical organization with Podolski and Klose (Both have polish origins, for those who wonder why Podolski didn't show too much of joy after the 2 goals he scored, heh). The polish played quite well as well, but were globally inferior than germans. Regards, TB

The austrians have played very well the 2nd half of the match, specifically after the introduction of Gorkmaz. Truthfully, they would have deserved to equalize against a physically weak croatian team. Regards, TB

The match opposing Portugal to Turkey was very pleasant to watch thanks to its dynamism, unlike the first one between Switzerland and the czech republic which was rather slow and calm. Despite the fact that Ronaldo wasn't in the place he is used to be in within Manchester, he played very well, threated many times the turkish defenses, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the match Portugal vs Czech Rep. Regards, TB

    UEFA Euro 2008

Congrats to the czech, even if the swiss were tactically superior, but the czech did it thanks to the impenetrable block they formed in defense. All in all, a very calm match with a few occasions, I hope the incoming one opposing Portugal to Turkey will be more entertaining. Regards, TB

    UEFA Euro 2008

Even without Cannavaro, the 'Azzuris' will keep representing a serious threat to any other team, specifically after the return of Del Piero (The top scorer of the main italian league). During almost all big events, italians have always shown how good they can become during rude periods. The 'Oranjes' won't be easy to deal with neither, especially now that they have very good and fast attackers. But fortunately the dutch defense isn't as effective as the attack. So, there is a chance Benzema, Anelka, Henry or Ribery would get through. Regards, TB

Yes, actually the impact sounds are the default ones but the script will get its own pre-defined impact artillery SFX with a higher volume and with more intensity. All in all, scary artillery sounds. ;] Regards, TB

Well, it was chosen to set up only 1 call per mission in order to not make the artillery support affect 'that much' the mission's status. A kind of last resort ability. ;] Cheers for the nice words, Regards, TB

Finished the implementation of the Artillery Feature: - You have to get close to the Leader's Radio or to the Radio Operator in order to contact the deployed Artillery Batteries. - Ability to choose the number of strikes + scattering via a dialog menu. (A la FFUR) - Only 1 call available. Its main purpose is to be simple, accessible and fully friendly-user. Video Cheers to Franze for his support in fixing some little issues with the script. Thanks to the XAM MOD for the US voices. ------------------------------------------------------------ Now waiting for some Russian Voices in order to include the artillery feature to the Soviet Side as well. Generalizing isn't going to get anybody anywhere. CWR achieves a nice work and its approach is rather interesting, to say the least. But please, let's put an end to this to avoid this become kind of irremediable. Regards, TB Edit: Typos

Schmalfelden seems to be the best actual alternative in terms of Islands for the Project, as it fits very well with the theme in question and we envisage (With Nicholas Bell's permission) to further include it to the MOD. Yes, we have already checked out these 'proxies simulation' scripts but actually this possibility wasn't retained due to the work required behind and the necessary time to achieve this in 'secure conditions' (As I experienced many glitches during their implementation to the Su-25). But this could be envisaged later, once we are done with the main aspects of the MOD. Regards, TB

    Football:General

Now that the Champions League is finished, the 'Euro' cup is coming nicely and already shows many entertaining signs: - Return of Del Piero within the Italian team. - Zidane record of being the only french player to score 2 goes for the first international match broken by Bafetimbi Gomis. - Cristiano Ronaldo finished its best season so far. Hope that the Swiss/Austrian alps won't be showing any 'misfortune' signs within the next incoming days. Regards, TB

The SU-25 carries specific UB-32 rocket pods, slightly different from the one illustrated on the screenshots and the model in question will be updated soon. Since this version rather belongs to combat helicopters. Regarding the loadout, please keep in mind that every Frogfoot's variant included within the MOD will be using 1 variety of missiles alongside with rockets due to ArmA engine limitations in terms of missiles proxies, that's why there is an attempt to mix as best as we can the actual stuff according to the actual limitations to avoid to have something of 'too' monotonous.
