What Is The Storyline/Setting For the Campaign

WARNING: May contain a spoiler for OFP: Red Hammer! Hi, I agree completely withe these two quotes. I would love to be playing both as secret resistance forces (in Eastern Europe - of course ) and participate in sanction missions as Scrub posts. Especially some secret SpecOps missions before the war actually starts (i.e. like SAS and other elite forces in Iraq, 1991). But most lovely would be a resistance force-campaign involving larger cities with urban war (here I'm thinking of Hungary, 1956 and Praha in 1968), basements (a bit like 2nd mission in Red Hammer, finding the hide outs!) hiding weapons and communication cells etc. Maybe even forests with castles enabling fighting in the woods and at the castle itself: seizing the gate --> the garages --> the castle itself. Then an objective could be to take out devastating machine gun nests, for instance. Anyway.. I can't wait until the best day in 4th quarter 2005 (here I'm thinking of release date, of course . But if they can't make it on time I'm getting desperate!  Regards tekkerchrede

    Kozlice pack released

Hi, If these weapons are representing real weapons I agree the pack will be a great addition to the Resistance. The Kozlice was amazing when I tried it in "Revenge" SP mission and this feeling continued after completing the mission where you are attacked by the Soviets at your (Troska's) home. It is exactly the kind of weapon I always meant have been missing to make the Resistance side 100% realistic. Regards tekkerchrede

Some questions about resistance..who is the devil

Well. Now I have read several interesting ideas about this subject. Somebody has seen Victor in the "bonus level bar mission of CWC" and other has found these religious markings. And other again has found something else who can give us a clue, but nobody hasn't found the solution yet... But many of these caraters needs to be implemented in different mission due to te limited number of faces avaiable for BIS. So it highly believable that it's just some (un)lucky coincidences. The religious markings are, as mentioned earlier, placed several places around the whole island. The suggest I applause mostly is the theories about Stoyan. Though I only believe it's made to define him. As he plays a vital role for the Resistance campaign it's obvious that we will need an answer to the question: "Who is the Tasmanian Devil?" I suggest Maruk or someone else from BIS will have to give us an explanation to this very interesting, exciting and time consuming issue. Kind regards tekkerchrede

Problems with oxygen and viewer (bulldozer)

Hi, A little, but maybe important, thing I forgot to tell. With the original game's .cfg-file I'm now capable of closing down the viewer with the Alt + F4 command. Regards tekkerchrede

Problems with oxygen and viewer (bulldozer)

Hi, Thanks for helping me, but your suggestion doesn’t seem to work. I’ve changed the resolution in the flashpoint.cfg-file from 1024 x 768 (standard resolution), to 800 x 600. I have even tried as low as 640 x 480 to see if it had any influence, which it hasn’t. The viewer still starts up as maximised and fills out the whole screen. You were completely right about the “-window -nolandâ€-command and the screen divided into green and sky. I think the line with mod = 0, scale X … appears each time the viewer starts up, but I’m not sure as my computer freezes sometimes. As soon as I had installed the viewer I rewrote the bulldozer-flashpoint.cfg with the original game’s flashpoint.cfg and changed the things as I was told to do. That didn’t work so overwrote it again with the bulldozer and that didn’t help either. So now I’m using the one from the original game, because it works best (I think it doesn’t freeze as many times as the one from bulldozer). Kind regards tekkerchrede NB: If you want to see a nice site and loves historical based mods, try LWP MOD…

Problems with oxygen and viewer (bulldozer)

Do you mean the paramters I need to change, are placed in the flashpoint.cfg-file? Anyway I will try it...
  8. Hi, I have got the o2 and the updated viewer files. I install the files as told in brsseb's tutorial (brsseb@hotmail.com) and to this point everything is okay. But it is when I start the o2 file, my problems begin to appear. The viewer (Bulldozer) is preset to start up and close down at the same time as 02. As far as I can see this is okay, as the tutorial tells me to close down the viewer window and modify the options-window at the files-bar. I just can't close it down. The only way I can close, is by rebooting the PC by switching off the electricity and then afterwards turning it back on, again. The viewer screen is divided in two; the lower part is green and the upper part shows a sky and in top a line with some text I think is some thing like: mod = 0, scale X ..... If anyone thinks it can be a help, my computer is a 900 MHz Pentium III with a 32 MB GeForce2 and Windows ME. I've upgrated for OFP: Resistance ver. 1.91. Any suggestions to solve the problem...!?! Â Regards tekkerchrede

    Linking to flashpoint1985.com

Hi everybody, Who shall I contact to get a link from  flashpoint1985.com to our LWP MOD site? At the link sections there is written "just contact us if you want to get a link", but who is "us"? I'm writing because we of cause are an OFP mod, but also are using as many historic characteristics from the period around 1985 as possible, to describe Polish plans of invading Denmark and Danish plans to defend its homeland. If you still aren't convinced take a look at the LWP MOD site. Regards Chrede, LWP MOD
