  1. Well im off to sleep now,but ill paste a text that came along with the picture,so you can anlyze it and seek some tinhats tounge.gif

    Gnite.

  2. This is absurd,the article stated 2 ifs,nothing more,and the ifs are:

    </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">"For a start the damage to the hotel is superficial, it's only the masonry that's been torn off in a very small area, a tank shell would have done more damage I feel.

    <span id='postcolor'>

    Well im no expert on the shells used in abrams,but somewhere from this thread i red about the shells used by abrams,and the conclusion was that they lack a deasent "exploding ammo"

    If the ammo fired in the hotel was a sabot,it would explain the minimal damage (havent seen any pictures of the damage though)

    </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">"Secondly the angle that the tank would have to have reached to hit that roof, it would more or less have had to have shot just round the corner and I don't think even the Americans have got those kinds of weapons."

    <span id='postcolor'>

    As you can see from the link I posted this is not the fact.

    These are the only evidences supplyed by that article.

    Enough to raise a doubt? Not in here..

    Edit: note that no other gunfire was heard by the reporters or catched in the cameras microphone..

    Oh bytheway othin,I am still waiting your sources revealing the WMDs of iraq.<span id='postcolor'>

    First, what is that picture supposed to represent?  I'm not trying to be contentious but it's not very clear.  There is a three and what looks like an explosion?

    And "by the way" Turms, if you had read my post where I claimed that Iraq has WMD (which it does) you would know that I'm going to follow in the fine tradition of posters hereabouts and not reveal my sources.<span id='postcolor'>

    It is a tank firing to the hotel where the reporters were killed.

    And if you want to judge my english,we can talk also in Finnish,wich I doubt you cant.

    As for the sources of yours, I wasnt trying to get you to reveal your secret sources,I was only wondering when is the

    publication of the evidence(wich you lack) is going to be?

    Im with you on that one.I am not trying to defend Saddam/Iraqis on this but i want to know the facts

    before I make my conclusion,if a investigative group makes a report of the bodies and provide some facts about the killers/cause of death,then im convinced about the results.

    But i dont find the media to be a authority to announce the facts at the same day the bodys were found.

    Most is not all,and the fact is we dont know yet who are these people,or what/who has killed them.

  7. I think there is no information about the origins or the cause of death/killers of the bodies,just speculations,article said that the bodies are gonna be sent to pathologist investigator who can determinate t6heyr cause of death/time and so on...

    There are suggestions that support a theory of USA decision to attack (2001) no matter what UN would have found.I posted this link before but will do it again,seeing as it fits in this conversation

  11. Actually the svastika,has a history before the nazis took it in use: A Swedish count called Eric von Rosen had the swastika as the family "lucky charm" He propably found it somewhere from India..In 1918 Eric von Rosen donated Finnish airforce its first plane,and the svastika was painted on it.It was the symbol of Finnish airforce until 1944.

    Chirac has alot to do with this war, and everything that lead up to it.

    All issues of morality aside, Chirac was acting on the interests of his own country to try and prevent the war from happening.  Not just because of popular opinion, but to also protect the economic interests of France in Iraq.<span id='postcolor'>

    Only countries and statesmen Who has something to do with the WAR are the ones who invaded Iraq and the Iraqis themselfs.So in my opinion it would be absurd to drag chirac in this WAR,becouse he is the one who campaigned for the PEACE.

    I suspect that they were at-14 kornets....

    oh btw 1 Abrams tankcrew has drowned in this war,in Tigris i believe. Will try to dig the article..

    Do you have any crdible source on that or is it just your opinnion?
