What is wrong with using crosshar to aim? I use it all the time and I find no problems with it... I play well with it actually. Only if i'm really uncertain, I will use iron sights.

Well, I forgot to metion the part about there being absolutely no video setting options in the options menu... only controls, music, and mouse... nothing more! I don't know why the video settings are not visible anywhere!

Is there any way to change the damn brightness? I can't see 5 inches away! It's so damn dark!

My aim using the crosshairs is off to the right... could this be an effect of FADE even though I have a legal copy of the game? The version I have is 1.45... could one of it's new "features" have triggered FADE? A message in a multiplayer game came up saying, "Remember: Original Games do not FADE." There was also a message that said, "playername(as in my multiplayer name) uses modified config... but I never even touched that file! People in the server told me not to worry, but the aim is off to the right in crosshair mode (not ironsights). Does anyone know what is going on here?
