i got intel Q9650 Core2Quad today and i allready have a nvidia gtx 285, hopefully can run arma 2 smooth on high settings.

Does that cpbo program work on 64 bit vista? I couldn't get the program working! Then i tried with other computer wich has 32 bit Windows Xp as OS, and the sounds extracted fine. On Vista 64 the cbpo screen kept saying: "default pbo icon already exists, not overwritten" when launched just like kklownboy describes above, VERY frustrating! But on XP it worked!

This is great, big increase in FPS compared to 1.15 beta ! Cant wait for Arma 2. pre-ordered already :)

ok, thanks! About the flaps, when im taking off should the flaps be up or down, and what about after take off? and when landing. i dont know when they should be up and when down?

Are there any instructions/manual how to fly the A-10, and other planes in Arma? I really cant fly well, i struggle balancing the plane and flying steady, and cant keep them in the air long enough, or land properly :) example, how do i use the flaps, when they should be up and when down? Any other crucial/basic things i should know.

Replayed the mission using the 1.6 version. Some nice changes there; AI worked better and it's easier for the player to help the SF soldiers independently and not lead them and worry about everything. Makes the mission easier. One thing i miss from the earlier version is the cutscene in the forest camp, when the second special forces team arrives and the dialogue goes something like this: Spec ops Soldier 1: " Ey yo, what i miss mayn? " Spec ops Soldier 2: " What up partycrasher !!! " Best line in any Arma mission ever ! :biggrin_o: Made me laugh every time :)

Same here, i use my lcd-tv as my monitor so i play arma on the native resolution 1920 X 1080. Looks great.

This has happened to me few times, i just restarted/reloaded the mission until the alarm didnt go off.

Really enjoyed this mission! Also have to point out the voice-acting and the military lingo, sounded authentic and professional. Hope to see more missions from you guys. (btw, first post, hi all   )
