EDIT: ok guys i figure since im going to be even more busy with RL in the upcoming weeks, i should release this pack now! these will be the only release till post OA! once OA comes out like i siad i will make better versions, using the OA SF models! now as i said before these are very basic and due to me having a lack of time and skills, there not as good as i want them to be, and they are not my best work!     if ebanks dont mind me saying...i can say this map really is outstanding, and is unbelivably realistic to the AO it represents..from the pics iv saw..plus i had a vid that my cusin shot while riding in a blackhawk from a FOB to the northeast down throw wardak(well it may not have been in this exact location) but it reminded me of this map so much! great job ebanks...your outstanding bro!

    sweet guys, if you dont mind me asking what did you, and landdon do in the USAF? as maby ill get around to creating units that you guys served with? but for the record even tho i was apart of a usaf csar team, i never saw combat, and i spent most of my time on the flightline...or just being some other guys bitch hahaha:D btw for tho's who are new in the military or plan on joining...take this from me..dont EVER sit around doing nothing, and if you are..well act like your doing something..as thats a good way to become some officers bitch..like i was haha(and im sure vengeance and landdon or any other military guy can back me up on that! hehe) but on a happier note i would like to thank you guys for your support!     thanks darkhorse and ebanks! like they said, as i told them earlier that these are just placeholders untill OA comes out, and then i will have better models to work with! plus thanks to massi i am learning more on how to texture better..so thanks man! plus i dont have any models of mine own to use, as well..i am not as good at modeling as i want to be, plus why not wait till BIS release MLOD's for arma2 soldiers! also how would everyone feel about me releasing them now as is for..as i siad a "PlaceHolder"? untill i get more to work with(OA), and hopefully by then i will have more free time to work on these more! but if everyone wishes to use them now... keep in mind there still not done, noir is it my best work..im still very much learning thanks to a bunch of people!

    wow dude....as if it aint creepy enough in arma2 with sharks in the waters....possible bigfoot in chernuras(well probly not but i like to think so... as it adds a scary vib at nite haha) but yeah man some crocs would be great too! and this may just be me, but i would like to see a T-Rex runing throw on a hunt...now thats scary!!!

  12. ok after a bit more of testing, this is how i feel! over all this is amazing, but please replace all the Arma1 Hesco Barriers, with the better looking Arma2 "large" Hesco Barriers? and along with that please replace the Arma1 "Fortess\Bunkers" with the Arma2 version....and maby a Hesco Barrier Wall around the whole compound...or wooden walls..but i think the arma2 Hesco Barriers would look much nicer! also..i know you cant help this but can you posibly look into doing the same thing BIS did, by making the ends of the maps random generated terrian? or even if possible just let the mountians around the ends of the map taper\fade off into flater terrian? and yes i agree with Darkhorse..i can aswell provide pics if needed, but im sure Darkhorse has much better quility ons then mine! p.s. please remove the 3 big "Hospitals" insidethe main FOB...if you need to just use the better looking USMC "Feild Hostipals", and we only need one..btw the "Tent City" looks great..love the detail in that alone! but maby even tho in RL most bases have tents & barracks..in arma2 i think it does not look so good! maby in the future we could either have mostly\only barracks or tents...keep in mind most AFB's are more permant and usually the "tent citys" are only temp, as they get replaced by better barracks with AC...Lighting and all the goodies(trust me i was USAF...and i can asure you we had it better made then the grunts did)! also maby then we could have a large Wooden Walled perimeter? anyways, please do not think i am trying to be rude, or demanding..im simple just giving MHO! I do not mean any harm, i think this map is spectacular, and thats why i took the time to give my thoughts and ideas...and thats all they are, just friendly suggestions! good day, Dave

    great..well be nice! however maby it would be best to have 2 different packs...one for the u.s. and one for the german\others as that will be too much for one addon..specially as many who use either will most likey use only one! example...if there using the german one(s) or the IDF one..they will most likely not use the american ones...no im not being judgemental as many dont know im actually half german(i just was borne here in the u.s.)...and i have a great deal of respect for the you IDF guys! and i think others might agree that doing it this way is best...as i honestly dont need a bunch more addons\versions when im only gonna be using one version, and if it is the german\IDF version that ill use..which trust me..iv already torn the IDF and german snow camo's version up...great job btw BrainBug! and on a side note, no worrys Itzhak..belive me i know ur very busy with RL...and the stuff you guys got going on, plus ur arma2 life(addon making lol) so yeah dont feel bad about telling me to shove it:D i just thought it would be ok with you if i atleast gave my opion! btw if theres anything i can help with you already know your always welcome to hit me up on msn! good day bro, and be safe...we..need...you lol! p.s. i think i sent you a basic(test) of the textures, as they almost perfectly match up to the BIS USMC helos...which bis actually did currectly lol(color shade i mean), so i just thought maby you would have liked to take alook..maby i could save you vaulable time by updated the usmc textures a bit?

Helmand...yeah finally...we will soon have helmand,wardak,greenzone, and the beautful tarin-kowt(as i buddy of mine is working on it..kinda at my request..so i hope others will like to use it aswell)maps to play with! now we just gotta cennect them and we will have almost half of A-Stan lol!     they do work yes, i have the working all the time! make sure there named for some reason that usally works! example: man1 doFollow leader1; so yeah im pretty sure that would work..im at my rl work so i cant test, so let me know ill be on for a while! btw i have another solution to making the guns(any gun..be it m2 mg or m119 howitzer) it will work so you dont need to define a target to aim at, with the simple init line writing you can make the gunner aim it into any direction, at any angle! however as i said im at work, and i dont remeber it off my head but go to armaholic and dl my very nice, and very accurate FOB's\Bases template! the accurate FireBase in thier has the guns set up and are made to easily be edited! http://armaholic.com/page.php?id=10098 = my template...which as everyone else you are free to edit and release as your own work! btw feel free to pm me directly if you need help and dont no answers, but its always good to wait a while...as it takes a bit of time for ppl to find your post...belive me!:D

    UH/MH60 reskinning proj

    hey bud to re-skin the arma2 mh-60 should be very easy! btw i really, really wish i could help on the m88 recovery vehicle.....as i have for a long time been trying myslef to make one...no luck tho! but if i may give a suggestion..the m88 is built off the m60 frame..so you should do what i tryed to do(as im sure you will have better luck then me:D), and take the arma1 M60(the u.s. tank used before the m1 abrams) and try to remodel it...but if you get it working dont for get to ask for permissions from the origanl authors;)

    i totally understand the problems you are facing ...so the diving..or just the ability to go deeper aint that important, however it would be nice...maby do it in the way gnats subs work...where they dont acculy turn down, but sorta glid lower..and belive it or not, if its already moving it would work\look pretty good! btw i may have a future project for ya..now the model is not mine is a good buddys of mine who is a member on here, but is a well respected Marine, and is currently prepering for a deployment to a-stan! so for now unless he says its ok..im gonna leave his name out while just talking over the public forum! so im not in anway taking credit for it, but because of his deployment, he cannot finish it, and he told me he would need alot of help anyways, so he asked if i could find someone who can get it done...so im hoping you take it on...its a model of a camel...and would go great with OA! needs to be animated and textured(i can get it textured if need be) just needs to work(ie walk..and all the good stuff camels do...:D)...i have his permission to give you the model(specialy as your a well respected addon maker) along with anyone else who is a respected\honest addon maker...but before i can give the model to anyone else i need to get the ok...but CSJ, you already have the clear...pm me if you want to know more...     yes, the model i have is that of the arma1 model aswell, so yes bink is right..that is the best way to go...and the arma1 model is the same model..if not very close to the arma2 model

    hey bud, i have done a completly proper UH-60Q with alot of help from my old military buddys and lots of very good refference...plus i have had the change to be around them a few times while they where re-fueling for a training exercise at my AFB! i have even modeled the completely new "6-Stretcher Layout System"(not textured), with the windows removed and the medical box(also not textured) at the back...in fact i would have loved the help from u guys but i have desided to call it quits, as BIS Arma2's OA will have a proper UH-60Q! so i fiqured why not use the one that will come with the game! but however if you want to see what i have..which while is pretty accurate...its just that my skills are not so good, so even tho i now know it in-side and out, i cannot model it as so...but your welcome to anything i have...still hope to see this come from you guys EDIT: here is a pic from my unreleased version from arma1....my current model has been remodeled better, and better textures! your welcome to it all! http://armaholic.com/pfs.php?m=view&v=8582-188d8b583a7baaeaae60dc080d68f358f6abc63b.jpeg Dave,
