yeah we also....really, really need them "Custom Group Formations"!!!!!! that should be already included, or should atleast be considered in the next(or future) OA Patch! that is sumthing i feel will add to the realisim and can provide good outcomes in missions...cause im tired of hearing " 2: where are you?, 1: im at grid blah blah blah" cause they never follow formation and they get lost..then next thing you know they crash and you lose the mission! and it cant really be hard to make custom and tight formations can it? also we need some of those Assault landing ships, some that are U.S. Military(i know i know there is one already being made but its a brittish ship) and i would like\prefer to have them made by bis for one reason and one reason only, cause then we dont have to go and DL a shitload of addons just to use a mission or two! not because i dont like community addons, cause i love community addons but hate having to DL addons for a mission! n also for those who play online, some servers may not want to have addon requirments. also the "script Commands" are needed so bad aswell becuase of obviouse reasons....and many will probly agree lol! well..thats my opinions, and thoughts..i really do hope BIS atleast thinks about doing that for all of us, and i hope they pay attention to our suggestions\coments ext. -

well we all still know eddies still in the fighting spirit! get emm man lol. and yeah guys its only a video game..and as i said above im doing the USN versionand i have just talked to eddie and have things sorted out(as too what i can use\release and what i cant)! so just to let everyone know there will be a U.S. Navy F\A-18F Super Hornet for arma2! i will open a thread dedicated to the USN F-18, as soon as i can get sum pics and more info! but as a one and only WARNING!!! if i recive any...Threats, Demanding, or Ignorant PM's, Or any kind of other inappropiate PM's, E-Mails, or anything in reguards to the F-18 i too simply delete my version as well(as Eddie did)!!!! and then no one gets a F-18 Unless they build one from scratch them selfs. so go ahead people...test me, now most who knows me knows im not mean...im very nice, very helping(when i can provide help) and easy to get along with and will do anything i can to help someone. and so is Eddie, so no need for this inmature shit going on over a damn 3d model..and a game!!! oh and i cant really say anything...and even if i could i would let eddie tell ya but PRACS actually has a "Possibly" nice future ahead! good day everyone..and anyone is allowed to pm me, you can ask how things are going..or just say hi, or even just let me know your there if i need help! thats cool..i dont mind that but please no ignorant e-mails\pm's! and if anyone has questions reguarding the USN version, please only contact me, please dont bother Eddie, Crash, or anyone related in anyway to them, or there mods! unless they them selfs say other wise! thanks everyone and good day! lol get emmm bro! butyeah for anyone who wants a USN|USMC version...relax Eddie and the whole pracs team(which is mostly eddie) has never really let us down so everyone chill! and i have talked(a long time ago, so i hope i still can) to both my buddys Eddie(PRACS Mod) and Crash(NZDF\ADF Mod) on getting a USN\USMC version out to you guys! i have even started on textures awhile back when eddie and crash first told me about it! and keep in mind eddies going throw alot right now...and on top of that is still working hard on this mod! good luck Eddie you already know im here if you need me man!

yeah i agree...i would love to see a proper OH-58D come from bis, not that the work southy and all else who contributed wasnt good but hell that thing as servived 3 major games and still in the fight...it needs to finally be layed to rest!!! so i would love to see BIS come out with the OH-58D in a future patch! its not like its hard to port from VBS2(specailly with the skills BIS Dev's have). and alot of BIS A2\OA models are already VBS2 ports(IIRC), and the VBS2 Kiowa is a very, very nicely made model! so how bout it BIS.....Please??????? and yeah pufu...hows your Kiowa coming along? wow very nice..cant wait! and funny cause i read the whole whole post....then looked at the pic of how the QE will look in the editor(thinking how alsome it was to use easly..and to place something and it actually be in that exact spot ingame), then read what you said about it looking like a animal and laughed my ass off! as after you said that and i read Wolfbites post..i totally saw the mental rat lol! but anyways looking good and cant wait for the nimitx aswell!

yes somthing like this is very much needed! for example think of getting inserted outside a village, then as soon as stuff goes down(like a gunfight\ambush\ect.)...say a civy gets killed, then the "familiy or who ever "said" dead civy was grouped with(by module like discribed above) would then run over to the dead civy and "morn" him(idk like...crouch over the body and yell stuff..ext) like what will happen in a real life senario! then depending on who shot the civy(blufor\opfor)they would act according...either if possibly pick up a weapon..or simply run away. or do whatever seems likly that a real civy would do! also....yeah most..well some of this can be limited to being made in the editor..theres still a few points that need to be looked at. first im not a mission maker persay, but i make many mission inwhich i use for my own personal use and its no fun when everything is scripted cause you know whats going to happen! i know iknow, someones gonna come in and say..well use other peoples missions, but i dont want too...i like the missions i make(not that i dont like others) and i like making them how i want! and for me thats the whole main reason i have played OFP\A1\A2! so it would be nice to have my missions more random, just like in rl! so think of it like this, in real life as a commander(or some sorta leader) you will most liky plan out your mission(as you would in game) but yet what that mission will turn into or how it may change depending on the situation! that stuff is random cause in rl you have no to limited control of what will happen, or what others will do! thats what im trying to get out of arma!!! -

yeah usally editing the mission.sqm works but when i tried to edit my mission.sqm it had no refference to none of the maps i mentioned(takistan,zargabad,desert,chernarus,utes ect.)! Dave, -

i get a simular error when making a mision using only unsung stuff and yet when i load\revert the mission(i edited the SP Lowlands Mission, for personal use only..sorry bout that hope im not hurting nothing) but yeah i will load the mission...die...then try to reload to the last save point and it would say "error cannot load\play mission, it requires deleted addons..blah blah) and the deleted files(OA standerd Maps\A2 standerd maps) have nothing to do with unsung! btw great job on the patch i too noticed notable improvments ingame and performance! hey buddy thanks, glad the airport was moved, and no worrys with removing it completly, i like it on the map, just not in the city as its not thier in rl but now you atleast got it near\around the area it is in real life so im more then happy, and again bro glad you dont think i was diss'in this project...its totally oposite im actual too...too...too happy for this project that sometimes i get too carryed away with myself and fell like a lil kid at christmas, and cant control my happyness hahaha! and of course im still here if ya need help! thats cool to know but still it would be best to have the airport in its exact location..if not, IMHO i would remove it altogather if it cant be placed in the exact location it appares in real life! which wouldnt make a difference because first off, if your not gonna make the map large enough for a proper air war(which 20x20 is smaller then takistan and that is still too small IMHO)! then there shouldnt be no need for a airport, second i just want an acurate..actual iraq city map! meaning i want(as i always and mainly do) beable to take rl operations\missions\situations and add them to arma...but with out having to compermise shit! now obviously the only actual limit to this is making every building the smae as its rl counterpart(which is impossible unless u want to make over a million new houses..which even if you did no computer in the world would beable to use it lol) and thats ok....but having an airport where there is none...on a map that is of a real place sucks, i would just recomend removing the airport or better yet expanding the map..which i dont see how that will afect anything(and i know, i know im not an map maker..but i have made a map before and know most of the limitations) so why not expand the map and just have the airport in its real location..you dont have to put a tree or bush in every place outside the main boarders of the map..maby just around the area the airport is suppost to be! plus if you do that there is no point in putting bushes and grass in places that you wont see it anyways(cause most likly ppl will only go strait from the airport to the city) so you only need to add grass to the areas that will be traveled! anyways i know, i know i seem like im trying to down your project or trying to tell you how to do your project...fact is since your way talanted then ill ever be...i cant do this myself(so please no post from ppl bitching like "well..if you dont like it do it your self" cause obviously if i could i would lol) so again in no way(even if it seems like it) im not trying to dictate your project..im just giving my opinion which regardless of what ppl thing...that is the way to get the best out of anything.....so on that note good luck buddy and i hope im not annoying you or anyone else..i know im being picky but its jsut im excited to have a map thats not only a real place but for once in arma history is acurate to the max it can be made acurate! if you need any help with anything let me know and ill help if its something i can do..like i said above i can use most tools that is required to make maps however im no where as good as you with them said tools, but im more then willing to put my money where my mouth is(menaing i wont sit here and bitch, with out actually helping you to get it done) so hit me up if i can be of assistance!
