Yep, I have shot the M240 with out ear pro, and I must say, yeah, you feel like your ear drums have been punched. -

I'm pretty sure you don't get blurry vision from shooting a 50 cal and most definitely not a M240 unless you sit right next to the end of the muzzle. Sure at night, you are pretty blind from the flash. I gave up on trying to shoot the M240 with NVGs on. Also, that AT4 sound is very realistic. One big bang on launch and one when it hits the target. -

That isn't very realistic. The Harrier cannot take off vertically with full combat load. As matter of fact it can only take off vertically with only a 1/4 of a tank. Now it can land vertically after expending combat loads. -

The US HMMWVs are already correct as they are the early version of the HMMWVs (M1025 Armament Carriers). You could even use the A1 HMMWVs as they would even be more correct. The 5ton truck is also a must from A1. There is a crashed Blackhawk from A1. You have got to look around and open your eyes. -

That's what I had while wandering through the forests Fort Benning with LT. Also codeblue addons by Dave for OFP has a PRC-119 that you could use if you could get a hold of him LINKY. As well as Lasers US Weapons LINKY.

Yes, but one must make sacrifices in one area of realism, to achieve realism in the other. Realism is a double edged sword. @Icebreakr, I realize that you want every building to be enter-able, but most of us wouldn't mind a few closed buildings for government, hospitals, police stations, etc... -
Man, I can't wait to test this map. I wish I could make awesome maps.

I like the old BDUs. If the Army was smart they would realize, like the Marines, you need two camos, one for the desert and one for woodland. As for Urban ops, you just can't really blend in anyways, so there is no need for that camo. The only thing you can't really include is black in uniforms as it is not a naturally occurring color. But, I'm just at the bottom of the totem pole, and I use what I am issued. RUMOR MILL Supposedly, Congress has ordered the Army to get a new camouflage uniform. Also, the 173rd Airborne on their 2010 deployment will be using multicam. Hopefully the Army command is getting the hints.

But Multicam is a commercial product, and the Army will not buy the license for a Commercial product. That and the Army has too much invested in ACU/UCP pattern and they also won't admit they are wrong. We can only hope and dream.

Except the Navy uses Sea Hawk thus it is applicable to the Marines, the Marines main transport is the UH-1N/Y, and the Sea Knight is being replaced by the Osprey. Although, I don't know why the BIS didn't include the Knight. -

Hey Icebreakr, where is the capital? A few errors I spotted -Missing Road Section at Belca -Some areas of Landsat are a blue green, I don't know if you can fix this though Other than that, great map, very much so worth downloading. Thank you. -

I had my AN/PAQ-4C on top of my top rail. For some reason, if it was mounted on the side, we couldn't get it sighted in correctly. -
