Thought we needed some more colors in this section Taken at a civilian broadcasting unit in western Norway, while hiking. Bigger -
What is sobering is that Discovery actually did make documentaries once, before they started the whole MTV-alike thing, with arguing motor bikers and Jackass-like shows like worst jobs, and sensation-intended documents. So you are in a bizarre situation of a science channel, that contains no science.

System requirements are just lies anyway. No wonder people run off to consoles when PC developers expect their customers to know the performance difference in the whole product range of Ati/Nvida/Intel etc just to know if their computers can run the game. Anyway, good luck with the dual core usage BIS.

The Discovery documentary is better IMO, shows things more in context and is less "sensational". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoEgkGNO-sQ The Chernobyl incident could never have happened in a modern plant, it was, amongst others, the result of poor construction, and a traditional Soviet fear of reporting up the chain in fear of reprisals. It could have gone a lot worse though.

Hmm, those videos have really slipped under my scope, thanks for linking to them.

So how do you turn the Vsync off? That screen doesn't make much sense to me.

Operation Flashpoint 2 officially announced

That could be referencing to the console versions, just look at Team fortress 2, It can have 16 people max on consoles and 32 on computers. -

We havent seen any game footage with HUD etc yet, for all we know this could be bf2-light. -
Yea i hope they will put some more thought into that in later projects. I am no animator, but surely making individual animations for each weapon shouldn't take much time when you have a nice inhouse motion capture studio like BIS has Anyway, there are more annoyances more important than this, and BI has already done a great job in patching IMO, keep it up

It looks great, BI employees must be shaking in their pants. We as realism oriented gamers are in a very lucky situation now, where two big projects are competing for our attention through competition. I'm pretty sure ill buy both -
Very interesting, I see some Warfare awesomeness in a near future What does this mean?
-
Didn't like it. It has some nice sounds, good recoil, and suppression effects, but in the end, you are just taking flags with very gamey tactics on small maps. Not my coup of tea. Also on the servers I were on there was a lot of kids, Ill rather play the bf2 PR mod.

Better to leave it without a siren, that way mission makers can add their own, hearable locally for other players.
-
good stuff Namnam
-
A interesting mission, thanks. Also thanks to UH60 for reviewing the mission.
-
Im having a somewhat rare problem, the mission doesnt show up in sp missions when I place the pbo in missions folder.. hmm
-
Good stuff. I noticed that the west AIs use the bis m4 instead of RH ones, would be nice if they could have the good guns too
-
Personally I think we would have more people here if this place was a underforum of Official missions. It makes little sence to place it here.
-
I'm glad you have added the major bugs On a serious note, Ive sent some PMs asking for the addon link but not gotten any answers, I am used to bugreporting and not there just to get a preview
-
I hope you will include music one way or another, it is amazing how much sound can do in creating a atmosphere.
-
Thanks.

The credits were re-added ages ago in SLR 1.01. It was a mistake to remove them in the first place, but its all fixed now.
-
Nah, someone get it on dedi and we can test it properly

Great stuff, and much thanks to Sickboy for sharing the tracers and effects from six sense pack(?)
