Im really looking forward to your map. Kiwi land is pretty similar to Norway's terrain and climate, despite being on the other side of the earth. -
Realistic G36 and ACOG Sights?

Realistic G36 and ACOG Sights?
sparks50 replied to jasonnoguchi's topic in ARMA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Ace has backup sights for almost all acogs except for the m16a4. The M4 acog however has it. -
To have it in a completed state out of the box.

Maybe he meant the other way around? :)

ARMA II Beta Builds Released: Latest version/build: 1.04.6xxxx

Thats great, accidentally starting actions always was a pet annoyance in Arma 2 for me :) -
Thats the achievement of capitalism I was talking about. If China was isolated in the world and not able to sell their products to the global market, they would have been just as bad of today as fifty years ago. Millions moving up to middle class in China: fueled by western consumerism. Most of Asia is a good example on this. Hopefully bigger parts of Africa will be able to join in on it too one day, when Asian workforce becomes more expensive.

But if they were better off in the old country, why did they never return? I live in a country in Scandinavia that largely bans all sorts of assault rifles without direct authorization from the police. That doesn't stop bad people from using those weapons in robberies, murders and other crimes though.

I find it strange that this is still discussed. Communism is dead. Capitalism has brought huge chunks of the third world into the middle class, clothes, safety and food. "Communistic" states have.. Well, largely fallen down on their own weight in corruption. Many regimes, using violent means to prolong their period of power. Communism is a beautiful idea, the human kind is just not mass loyal or pure in thought to handle it. And USA is not a good example of individualism and capitalism. It still retains a strong government (starting wars, holding slave labor through taxes etc.) DDR called it a necessary measure for the safety of the German Democratic Republic, because of the "aggresive military actions" by the west. How stopping people from traveling out would aid to that, is anyones guess.
-
You also forget people like the Unabomber etc, but I wont be wasting my time in this thread anymore.
-
Well, you got it all figured out Vilas. I sure wish communism would come here so things would be "free of charge". What about ETA? And IRA was about far more than religion.

R.I.P to the 5 British soldiers and the 13 U.S soldiers
sparks50 replied to welshdude's topic in OFFTOPIC
Offtopic much? Vilas.. Anyway, threat people with respect(its free), not necessarily because you fear them going all Columbine, but for being a good person in general. Private CCW should in my opinion be, as all other places, allowed in bases where one does not carry as a routine. As long as bad guys can bring guns, so should you. Sad incidents both of them. -
I was wondering whether the USMC version of the M16A4 really has M4A1 trademarks, as shown on this airsoft rifle? http://img.redwolfairsoft.com/upload/product/img/M4ES-200R-L.jpg

Unlike PR, its very to find teamwork in the public part of the Arma games, you must join a clan or community, or play on other closed servers such as TG. http://www.tacticalgamer.com/arma-2-general-discussion/143915-how-get-started-arma2-tactical-gamer.html Have fun.

Is this a bot?
-
Thanks guys, someone on a forum said it was because the USMC M16A4 was built upon M4 recievers , Didnt know what to reply since I have no knowledge of the Marines. Most probable its this way because the manufacturer doesn't have the licence to use the proper name.

HardBoot: Bio-degradeable BBs are widely available, and they aren't that expensive either. Some groups play with Bio-BBs exclusively, to comply with land-owners demands. As for cheaters, its all about the players as you say. Its not hard to find out who the bad players are and kick them out for life either, when playing long term. You can also get good quality BBs that leave paint markers when hit, just like in paintball. Why anyone would use them is beyond me though, you would be better off with paintball if you want to play competitively. An airsoft gun resembles the real things performance in several aspects. Though obviously not in range or penetration.(not even gonna mention hi-cap mags here) For me it becomes the argument of Arma/Ofp videogames: Does some unrealistic features cancel out all the realistic ones? Not necessarily. A decent quality BB is a good, extremely cheap training tool if you want to become a good shoot at close range, or just for training operation and safety. Trigger time is trigger time, And will make you a better shot, no matter what the caliber is. My dad got me into shooting with a lever action BB gun at age 6.(under supervision, do not give your kid a BB gun for free use in the neighbourhood)

US PC GAMER December issue, just a heads up.
sparks50 replied to Soldier of Anarchy's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
Is it the US issue only? As a European, I would much appreciate a scan, fantastic bit of exposure for TG and Arma 2. -
