    America culture is growing..

At the moment in aus, there has been cases of a law firm doing alot of dirty work such as fraud, misrepresentation (no qualifications workers posing as lawyers/solicitors), suing clients ($12000 fee for $5000 compensation case who aren't paying cause they were told no win-no fee and they didn't win) and other nasty stuff. unfortunately these are mainly slipped-over-hurt-back cases so i'm in doubt who to support. Evil lawyers vs greedy/stupid ppl???

Growing tensions between us and rotw

I think i represent australia and most of the rest of the world when i say: Does snyone really care? Sure, maybe some losers out there maybe jealous of the US, but in the end they won't start a war or a conflict (pointless bloodshed) and so the world lives onto another day. The reason anyone would pick US as a target is they are the few and actual possible attackers left in the world. Who's economy has any survival attempt after a good whipping or could even take an army so far so big?

    Gibi-bytes and mebi-bytes

Most ppl know this, but know one cares about this as we all know what we mean. Although there has been small issues about this. eg. ISP says 40GB but is 40.billion not 42.95 Billion Bytes. It is only any issue when you are getting you 100GB hard drive. Anyway, if you are getting a beast of a hard drive like that, you would probably know your stuff.

To be quite honest, i feel guilty and embaressed cause of australia getting so many medals. btw: i was going to be quite nasty in the fact of having a poll of only england and canada for second place poll but that was a bit too nasty.

Having spent four hours in a bus with a bunch of germans yelling like crazy at each other, I was ready to be committed to an insane asylum. I like tourists who are quiet, like the japanese. It fits our finnish culture. We are very quiet people, so we don't like it when those foreigners come here and yell. Otherwise you're all welcome (just be quiet). A funny joke springs to mind. My friend once heard some germans wondering loudly in Lapland: "I wonder why all the buildings are brand new?" So my friend went over there and said: "Because you burned the old ones..."  <span id='postcolor'> I must say i like japanese ppl individually and have quite a few as friends, but when you visit your favourite surfing place/city/spot only to see a street full of japanese tourists is bit much. Maybe they should stop sending so many of them. (eg. gold coast. Then again, this means nothing to this international forum). So yes, japanese are very nice quite ppl, but when there is a whole crowded pathway full of them, it is hard for it to be quite.
