Status, afaik SAAB has bought the license from DI. Which isn't the military/army itself, but only a contractor. So the title is pretty missleading. SAAB will use it to build the actual simulation. If the military decides to buy it or not is another question.

Top notch units lads, very nice work. I really like the jungle cammo, reminds of my old swedish m/90 uniform pattern but in brighter colours. Only bugs i've spotted so far is the fact that all the units seems to be missing their ears, the model for it.* Also in some animations, such as crouching to pick up a weapon, you can spot (from the front) a missing face in the armpit area. No biggie. *(Though I haven't really read all the previous posts, so forgive me if it's already been brought up.) Regards, Shar

IIRC, the 40mm APFDS-T fired from the Strf9040 has a tungsten core, and has a muzzlevelocity of 1475m/s. the M919 is around 1250 m/s ? Tungsten and depleted uranium are equal in comparison, only Tungsten is more expensive. Also juding by the fact the 40mm is a bigger, heavier round being fired at a higher speed, at impact it would transfer more of it's energy onto the target, inflicting more damage. The Grkpbv 120, also known as the SSG 120, or the AMOS. Here seen on a CV90 chassi.

From what i've been trained for, we were instructed that one Patrol (6 men) takes out ONE Armoured vehicle, in terms of a IFV/APC. For tanks, call in artillery, or dig deep and pray. We were equipped with 3-4 Pskott M/86's(AT4 M136) per patrol. For a BMP, to guarantee that it was taken out we should for example fire 3 AT4's. All the "one AT4/LAW/RPG can take out a tank" are pure lucky hits. And you don't want to be counting on luck if there's a 20-ton AFV heading towards you, HOPING that you'll perhaps disable it with that one übar shot. ;) There's a difference in disabling an AFV, and knocking it out fully. What I meant was, no need to give the SAW 100 rounds (cpp wise), as it irl has 200 rounds in one box.

No need to remove the 200 round belt on the SAW, it does have a 200 round belt irl. I just think there was some confusion regarding size/amount of rounds.

Got to agree tho, the 5.56 rounds on the SAW looks too big. Almost larger than 7.62's. Best thing really would be if yeh could add this razzle razzle sound when yer running with a half-full SAW box. That'd be realism for yeh. Also, 200 rounds of 7.62 takes up quite alot of space. We use 250 round boxes for our FN MAG's and they weigh quite alot, around 6.5-7kg's. Not very handy to hump around with. Trust me I know. Suggest to use a 100 round box or such instead. Verah nice pack tho Jackal.

Also, we've remade the old Ak5's. The AK5C, the most modern version of the AK5's. Other versions will include an M203 and silencers.
