  1. Can you still play the mission with that error popping up? If so don't worry about it. If you cannot play what platform are you playing it on, ifa2 or ifa3? I believe you are playing with an older version of Dom converted before that last arma2co patch but I could be wrong.

  3. Nope he is still working on it. He is waiting on stuff from me so I have stalled the project lol. I will be getting that to him very soon.
  4. Best way to do it is to use mod folders set in the Arma3 main folder and use a shortcut you make from the exe file. It eliminates a lot of problems caused by using the in-game launcher. The mod order should look like I have listed below for you. Minus the no splash I have in front of the order of the mods. Does this help? "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\arma3.exe" -nosplash -mod=@CBA_A3;@LIB_DLC_1;@IF_Other_Addons;@IF;@ifa3sa;@IFA3M;@IFA3

Me in Panther against 4, T34-76's rolling towards me. I knocked out first 2 and the other 2 actually backed up to get away form me. I have never seen this happen in any Arma. I was flabbergasted! They kept their fronts towards me as they backed up. One of the T34's was playing possum and waited until I got closer to charge and let lose a volley and as he did this the other 2 t34's stopped and charged me as well. I was able to dispatch all 3 but lost a track and 2 crew in the process. WOW! Did you guys modify the behaviour of tankers now or add an ai mod to the conversion? As always Kju,(and your team) TOP NOTCH!!!
  6. Does this mean parts of the tanks and cars not falling off like in vanilla if or the turrets not blowing off? I would hate to lose that. thanks for all your guys hard work!!!!
  7. Hey Mr. Pederson, Major Mayhem has a sequence of missions similar to this that we play on Fridays/Mondays. He might be able to convert it A3, but best to check with him. For all interested, I put up my home server for vanilla IF to play if you like 173.183.145.181 :2302.

  9. Well said and totally agree! Answer is YES! Been around here since day one and the fun and enjoyment I get from the series far outweighs the bugs, even the longstanding ones.
  10. Has anybody been able to connect to a server running IF and actually play a mission without it crashing? This has happened ever since we had to use the steam updates. I have tried all methods I can possibly think of, vanilla If using steam launcher, 3rd party launcher and the actual a2oa server exe and no go. When I revert back to 1.62, there are no issues. Is this why I see no servers running the IF mod and the 1.63 update? I do have crash reports if anybody wants to see. Starting to lose my hair.... and turn big and green...cant keep replacing my clothes cause it is getting rather expensive... update! so it seems there are errors with the DLC and IF Other Addons that the new patch 1.63 does not like. I started removing stuff and now have my server running with an FK edit of Dom and I am able to join and leave no problem so far. This is just running CBA CO and IF, no other mods. Rodserver is the name for anyone interested in playing. I will do more tests tomorrow, going to play for a bit now. update#2! so it seems I cannot connect anymore without the server crashing even with just the original game loaded and latest 1.63 patch. Frustrating to say the least...
  11. Combined ops is running now automatically when you run arrowhead, you don't have to do anything anymore. If you choose to just run Arma, then it just runs arma, no arrowhead. Does this make sense? run arrowhead and both games are combined. just run arma it is just arma.

  13. It does it automatically now. Just run Arrowhead and you are good to go.
  14. I know if you don't use PWS, and use other launchers or steam, you have to use the arrowhead exe and it automatically runs arma as well. Like bhaz said, you can install the mods in game or just use a launcher. Anyways, if Arma is installed and you use arrowhead to start the game it combines it naturally. The PWS is wayyyy too confusing to use so I don't anymore.
  15. Too bad you are done with this game and think it is crap... guess you will never experience it in ArmaCO or Arma3 then as a mod...oh well there are alwys other games that do the same thing as this such as...umm...yeah...ahhh... guys help?... oh ya NONE!
  16. All up to date and has been doing this from day one for me. -mod=@LIB_DLC_1;@IF_Other_Addons;@IF;@CBA_A3;@AllInArmaStandalone;@IFA3M;@IFA3 <--- my mod file order. Makes no difference if I use with six or a separate mod launcher the HE bug and Panther noise are always present. Created tickets for the HE slowdown and Panther noise on Dev6 issue tracker. I also included the muzzle flash bug from the Stuka's forward and rear facing guns as well.

Was fooling around with IF in A3 with the latest patch and when I jumped into a Panther in the editor and a piercing scream ensued buttoned up. 3rd person view no worries and only is in the Panther tank. Also, firing HE rounds, the game crawls to a stand still when the round explodes. It happens all the time with no set pattern with all German tanks. Only with an HE round though. No specific target causes this just seems to happen randomly at various points in the game in MP or SP. I have used and disabled the addon for explosion effects used in IF and it makes no difference activated or not. Must say, thanks for all the time an effort you have put into this!! Searched the devheaven but didn't see these bugs posted.
  18. Could you shows us the order of your mods? This might have something to do with it. I have used the AIA through ArmaCO and now use the stand alone version and all up to date and still experience the slow down.

    ARMA refuses to load modfolder

    inside the @general modfolder do you have another folder called add-ons with the add-ons you want to load placed inside this one?
  24. Thanks for the update! Can't wait to try it out. If you need more testers I would be game. I also have a server that can host the test for up to 10 players if need be also. Sad to see such a prominent and longstanding mod be reduced to only a few active members :( I love i44 and Iron Front and it is sad to see so few players actively playing both most nights. PakUK, have you thought of joining with the IF guys to combine the two mods at some point? thanks again for all of your hard work!!!
