I use an AMD 3800 2 gig ram as a standalone server for up to 7 plyrs and it works great in a lan environment. Minimal lag even when everyone goes their own way for firefights in Evolution.

Dwarden, I just changed the enemy skill level to .27 in the options for my server. They take a little longer to shoot you and are not as accurate but seem to retain the ability to flank and act according to gunfire even if the skill is set at .75. My group loves this mission but hate the non respawn of MH6's back at the base. -
My 7600gt plays it better than my 8800gts, the U.S. demo is a different story though

If your having gun movement problems, go to controls and slide the arrow all the way to the left on floating zone. It should solve your problem. My performance with the demo is 10 times better than 1.5 and/or the beta. I've cranked the resolution to 1680x1050 16x9 on very high with view distance of 5-6km and have very little stutter with occasional playdough textures. This game looks amazing at this resolution. Let's hope it plays this good with the U.S. release. Now about the A.I. and bridges...

I know people have asked about respawning on the leader but how about using the revive/respawn script used in operation crossfire v1.2? Using this would add a compromise to both sides of the fence but add the twist where your comrades have a limited time to revive you or you resawn back at the base (((with your current weapon loadout))). It gets annoying having to drive all over the world when the helos are gone. You could also add a point system to medics for reviveing a fallen soldier and have it specific to medics or have a medic pack that you can carry to revive yourself or others that uses weapon slots. These are just thoughts to add to an already great mission. I haven't had this much fun since the 7plyr DAMP mission on Cat afghanistan. -
Go into your "mydocuments" folder and find the folder "arma demo". Open that then open the armademo cfg file with notepad. Change the resolution_W to 1024 and the resolution_h to 768 and save it. This should work. Good luck and enjoy.

I get the same thing ravellron gets around trees. I've tried the 100.95 the 101.02 and resorted to reinstalling the 97.94 . I've noticed that turning AA to low or off allows me more frames around trees and forest and but still eventually get the really low frame rates. Funny, my 7900gs and my 7600gt have no problems at all with scopes and forests or fog for that matter. I'm sorry I ever purchased this crappy 8800gts. Let's hope nvidia comes out with a proper fix asap.

Red Kite ----> it doesn't work with patch 1.05 but does with 1.02 I never tried it with the english version ( 1.04 ) because I use the German one and the English one together now with 1.05. Still have random crashes though with 1.04 and 1.05 which were not present in 1.02.

Hello, this sounds like a problem I encountered a year ago when running any game. Does it just do it with ArmA or other games? If it does, try this link http://www.trendmicro.com/cwshredder/ . It's a little virus remover that checks and deletes if you have the dreaded Cool Web Search hijacker on your computer. This sucker has caused me nothin but head aches (blank screens ,random crashes...). I thought it was hardware related until I found this sucker. Anyways... sorry for the longwinded reply.

I'm probably going to get banned for this but... I have the German version and have it running on 3 different machines hooked up via lan and router and it works fine. How do you have them linked? I have no real issues either with it running except the usual OFP slowdowns, viewdistance,details etc... I've been playing OFP since it first came out and still play it today. My OFP folder is 20 gigs and can't wait until the 505 release which I will buy also and hope it reaches and surpases 20 gigs. -
Start a MP game and when the screen pops up in the upper left corner it says ' address : internet ' click on it and it will change to ' lan ' and enjoy.

The name of the selection is osa_gunrec and is found by going into the memory lods of the p3d file. Fab's PzV tanks also do the twist, that is until I fixed them

Yes you can. I figured it out after some trial and error. Take a look at below _west_mission_one_bh = ["1 x Blackhawk",1,0,[35,40],["sebuh_1"],false,25,[getMarkerPos "Drop","LAND"] Replace sebuh_1 with whatever you want. You need to now what the name of the planes or helos are to do it. After that, the little tut he gives at the start of each script will help you determine how many strikes etc... to call. Hope this helps -

I just want to say that this mission is fantastic and the only mission my friends and I play anymore. I would like to know if it is possible to increase the amount of rebels that spawn during missions and how that is done. I have some limited scripting experience so I might understand the jargon. Once again, thanks for this great mission.

Bakubaku I had the same problem. Use COC's binview.exe to open and export as cpp and then use cpp2bin.exe to convert back to bin. Hey KyleSarnik, I figured it out. The program I used "Depbo" didn't convert from bin to cpp well enough to convert back to bin after I merged the 2 copies. I used COC's bin to cpp converter and this solved my problem. Thanks to you all the great addon makers for transforming this game into something fantabulous.
