    And it's nice to see a an ofp mod group that actually does what they say their gonna do and not come out with lame excuses, build up expectations with an "FDF Week" then flop...

    Avon, maybe you left something on the stove..go check...there's no flaming here..just speaking the truth...but anywayz...just want the light to shine on the FDF crew for awhile..they deserve it..

    Finally got to try it out last night..OMG this mod is GREAT!!! so many good things to say about the mod..I just wish I knew the difference between a jaeger soldier and a sissi..lol biggrin_o.gif And it's nice to see a an ofp mod group that actually does what they say their gonna do and not come out with lame excuses, build up expectations with an "FDF Week" then flop...you put forward a vision and do it and it doesn't take over two years...great work and yall should be an example of how to get things done in the OFP community..many kudos biggrin_o.gif

    the music playing when the Green Berets insert into colombia in the movie "Clear and Present Danger" is awesome...I've been wantin to put it in a OFP mission but can't d/l it anywhere..

    BAS was supposed to be workin on sone..along with supposed to be workin on SEALs along with supposed to be workin on Green Berets..yada yada yada....their website has gone "tango uniform" hopefully they'll get things squared away soon...I know everyone is anxious to see how progress is going with em

    These guys are looking really cool.

    Does anyone know if it's possible to export VBS units into regular OFP the way regular OFP units can be exported into VBS?

    If we could that would be REALLY cool..it would provide alot of addons the community has been waiting ages for i.e. UH-1Ns

    I think its funny that the US army doesnt use white covers during winter trainning as the rest of the world does...so I guess the saying "train how you fight" doesnt apply when its snowing out.

    and yes, these are the best american units out there good job

    the army DOES have snow camo..their worn over their regular fatigues..and I have a couple pics of SF solders with actual snow camo fatigues that is pretty recent...if I find it I'll post it up

    The british military is VERY good and is good in almost everything. It's no secret that the british are better than the US in terms of training. The US can only win because of their techno-stuff and huge numbers. If you would put a platoon of britsh marines (or dutch, which is pretty much the same thing except for the weapons used) against a platoon of US marines, the US marines will have their asses kicked. And this was confirmed by a former US marine who actualy trained with/against the dutch and british marines. Although I must admit that the British and Dutch marine corps are considered elite forces while the USMC is just a seaborn army (except for the recon guys).

    You sir are a fucking idiot and judging by your comments are probaly just another teenager with NO CLUE... and I hope for your sake you never encounter a United States Marine or any American service member for that matter....

    not to sound like an ass or anything...but there is the thing called FADING it happens when clothes are washed alot. the only thing different with these guys are boot choices

    you'd be surprised, these guys are definately contractors..I've heard the name Mid-South Tactical Network before ..I'm almost 100% sure they are a "contracting" company another site you might wanna check out to see how "kitted" out American contractors are in the field is

    I don't know if it was mentioned before but it is Delta we are talking about here.

    I think they have a big amount of freedom in choosing camo for themselves. They are the very elite of armed forces with certain previliges like camo, weaponry. I think they customize everything.

    There should be more suited to environment rather that other military formations like regular army.

    well, for one..there's no proof those guys are Delta, they could be or they could be private contractors(more likely) or Dev-Gru or some other unit..just because some guy on a site says their Delta doesn't mean they are and american woodland camo is american woodland camo there AREN'T different types of camo just variations as in make and what not..if the addon maker wants to make these compatiable with Hyks addon they need use the SAME texture format they was used for them..period..

    ok, just did a quick test with em..here's my quick observation:

    -They need ALOT of work..which is ok since their beta

    -the textures are mainly BAS stuff(I'm using the updated config) and the stuff added like hats, headsets and what not don't match in quality..they look outta place

    -Woodland is need more than desert there are VERY few mission worthy desert maps avaliable compared to woodland ones

    -Keep the BAS weapons(its less stuff for us to download)

    -If you need pics of Army Special Forces I'll be glad to provide them
