    Mid east

OK I've only glanced at this thread a few times because they are always the same. I the majority of people can agree that suicide bombing civilian targets is wrong. And not just American surgical strike wrong, deeply wrong. Why can't the Arab Isrealis form a guerrilla army? That attacks military targets? It has worked very well in the past and the Arab Isrealis are surrounded by allies. If the Arab Isrealis would get organized and do this, there might not be so much opposition to them. Because really what Western nation could possibly NOT oppose suicide bombers targeting bus stops, resturaunts, etc. If they did this I think they would be a lot more effective and they would have more support.

    Bg2 problem

Morrowind is VERY different from Baldurs Gate 2. Morrowind - 1st/3rd person, lots of combat, focus on yourself, very very very non linear Baldurs Gate 2 - Horribly long dungeons, you have to tell each person in your party what to do, frequent pausing. The game moves very slow. Recommended RPGs: Morrowind, Arcanum. If you decided you like hacking things apart more than a rich story theres always Diablo II and Dungeon Siege...

    Abortion and the death penalty

Abortion is the termination of little half baby monsters. If I ever saw a fetus on the sidewalk I'd probably smash it for being so ugly looking. Just like a cockroach. The death penalty is rediculous. If I can't kill someone, the government can't kill someone. I'm not a big fan of double standards. Not to mention the fact that I don't think it acts as a deterent. Nowadays you get a nice humane lethal injection. So in the mind of a murderer he could think "I hate these bastards and I need to kill them. If I get caught, hell at least my death with be a lot less painful then theirs." Maybe in the olden days when you were beheaded in public square it was more effective.

The u.s, land of the free?

The genious part is, its called the PATRIOT act so people will here it and go "Wow it's the patriot act it must be good" and forget to read the fine print. Then it does get passed.

    Ofp and sound cards

I just ordered a Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum. It's supposed to be really 1337 or whatever with 24 bit sound, EAX, and 5.1 surround sound, but what does that mean for OFP. Because come on OFP is the only thing that really matters. I know OFP supports EAX, but what is EAX? I'm gonna buy a good 5 piece speaker set. Will OFP be surround sound? Even more emmersive? Anyone who has this card or a simmilar one please tell me how it is.

    Rl: wars, survival..

I just think im too aggressive and proud to ever come out alive of a war.<span id='postcolor'> Oh sure we all like to pretend we're heros and how we'd John Wayne it through a war but I doubt anyone would do that in real life unless they were severely infulenenced by drugs. Firefights are real. Real bullets. Real bullets aimed at you. Trying to kill you. I remember my first time playing paintball (bad example - they dont kill you) I didn't play with a mask and it was night and rainy and we were playing in woods. It was hot. I remember trying to stay still, so I wouldn't get heard. I remember hearing paintballs being shot, hitting trees around me. I thought about the people who do it in real life. Ya its scary when the paintballs hit your next to your head, but what if those were bullets?

Who is your best forum buddy?

I was browsing those a couple weeks ago and remembering the days when I didn't talk much. I was a bit different back then. Well, same old sass, just in moderation.

    Battlefield 1942

To inform everyone this SP demo is an OLD build. From what I gather from the MP Beta testers it is MUCH better now. It didn't run on my computer but soon I'll have a new one so that'll be fixed. I've been looking forward to this game a long time.. I hope I'm not disapointed.

Did you cry during saving private ryan?

I cried all the way through "Windtalkers." It was was the worst move I ever saw. I was sad during Lilo & Stitch when Stitch went into the woods looking for his family.

But I have a 667 with 192mb of ram at home so it isnt any better :\

    Is anyone into radios?

My friend and I want a pair of walky-talkies. Not the crappy kind we had when were were 8, but a decent pair for all sorts of adventures. How much would than run us? Any suggestions of what to get? I started researching this stuff but was totally lost.
