I'm making a mission where you attack a town in the middle of the night. I need to know how to give a unit flares, and how to make that unit use them when they figure out I'm there. Please help me.

When you think about it this whole discussion is pretty dumb. It's like an argument on who could defeat who, the Ancient Egyptians, or Modern USA. My opinion: (I'm American) We have a force there which we think is what we need. They want us out. We say no. Why? Because we can. That part of the world desperatley needs western influence. But about Germany or Japan: I was in Germany 2 yrs because my Stepdad worked at Rhein-Main Airbase (Gateway to Europe) Half of it belongs to the Germans as a commercial airport. Durring my 2 years, I saw the base become smaller and smaller. I lived at the American Consulate Housing in Frankfurt a.M. which used to be right across the Strasse from an Army Base (Can't remember which one off hand). But that base closed down. We are slowly leaving from Germany and these things take time. About Pilot killing Italians: Ooops. What a jerk. Should have been punished. Now I think we are "guests" in Italy, but our miltary personel are serperate from Italian citizens, so he should have been punished by our military. He was found not guilty. Shame. Our legal system is really fucked. About some guy telling Wobble to vote for someone who wants to pull out of the middle east all together: Do you really think any party will ever nominate someone as radical as that? Our 2 party really sucks if you are a radical.

Hasharajimia, you are truley an idiot. Why would you replace a Blackhawk with an Apache? Do Apaches transport troops? What are you thinking? The Blackhawks were used to carry the soldiers there, and the Littlebirds were used for transport as well as some support. It was a catostrophe because they had no idea they would meet thousands of armed militia, and they had no idea that an RPG would hit their tail rotors. It was meant to be very quick, get in get out. You don't need huge assault choppers for a mission like that. You always put stupid posts on this forum like, "honor the japs who died at Pearl Harbor" and "What is the best way to kill myself" Think of something to post that's half intelligent even if you have to fake it.

I have to agree landing planes is a hassle. I never even land them anymore. I just blow up what I need to, point my plane at the ground, and eject.

Winter Kolgujev is very very very good. I really love that one expecially since its winter now. (In the northern hemisphere). But ever since seeing Blackhawk down and getting some guys with scarfs on their face from the Desert Storm addon, I love playing on desert malden.

The bug i hate the most in OFP is ater typing you sometimes get popped out of your vehicle. That tends to result in death.

Well "WAR?" is really about wars over religion. But I think it would be pretty cool in a cut scene to have that song playing. I have no idea how one does that though.

Has anyone noticed that the Borg are exactly like the Zerg from Starcraft, but are opposites? Borg = Mech, Zerg = Bio. Both 4 letters. Both end with G. Both do things as a whole and have no individuals. Both move from planet to planet adding things to them from the things they encounter. INTERESTING

Of course I use custom face. (And hands too) I took a pic of my face and played with it until it looked right, then put custom camo over it to make it look like it was smeared on.

I love System, but I dont think it would go with OFP. Ive played this Afghanistan map where Rage played after u killed a camp and it was quiet for so long (we were black ops) that it scared me so bad I jumped out of my chair. I dont think gay songs like "Its been a while" and "How you remind me" would go well with OFP at all.
