You're right, but it would be better if nobdoy died don't you think so ? that's why some security measures have to be enforced and extensive investigations led.

leaving Coranic tapes and detonators on a crimescene is somewhat ... amateurist behaviour ... Could be an ETA cover-up ... The ETA version can't be ruled out ... the movement recruits more and more young people, some of them living in a cult of violence and not knowing anything else. Vigipirate dispositive will be lowered to orange tomorow morning and intensive controls are operated on the Spanish border since this morning here.

Basques and Al-Qaeda cooperating? Bit too far out? Once upon a time, a man whose surname was Kadhafi helped arming and funding small groups of individuals wanting to open summer camps and play around with fireworks .... ETA was apart of those. Who knows to which devil a man can sell his soul..... (Kadhafi isn't a Walt Disney character, eventhough he's quite popular these days with western governments)

Yes. It's an unknown group called AZF who says in a letter that they have placed bombs on the rails in France. They have had a big search for bombs and they discovered a bomb a week ago. They have known about this threat since christmas. I dont know why noone seems to have made this possible connection. Their is a difference between an isolated numbnut knowing the interior ministery's address and how to set up a rudimentary charge after getting his hands on stolen mining material and an organised terrorist organisation planting 13 (if not more) bombs in overcrowded trains in three different stations in an European capital. Even if the charges seemed rudimentary enough for the TEDAX to remove them quite "easily" along with booby-traps aimed at them, the overall operation denotes some really, it's sad to say, but some really good organisation. All this could have been even worst that what it has been, believe me. The AZF case is being investigated here, and not only by police forces.

Nasty, just caught it on the news. Good job by the TEDAX on the bomb(s?) they found. The responsibles have to be caught, but for now, it's the victims who need support. The interior ministery has been threatened by an unknown group here, threatening to blow rails, trains and stations up (that's a week old btw)

these acrobatics are just apart of the PR stuff IMO ..... Spetsnaz are real mean killing machines who don't need to rely on fancy acrobatic and aerial martial arts/combat technics. But large amplitude moves and acrobatic jumps are much more entertaining to the public than a really fast blow in the carotid, and the fancy bunny hops don't require you to change your partners as often

H4xx0r bunny hopping Certain russian elite troops are taught a whole lot of useless techniques which could only be used in a bad action movie or to impress the masses and their foreign colleagues. The Russian close combat technique taught to Spetznaz and consorts is quite efficient but it has also a lot of "artistical performances": Removing a gun from somebody's hands while upside down in mid-air or even shooting in the same position with the gun you tool or with your own gun for exemple. There are a lot of pictures of that kind floating around.

Ditto. Reminded me a bit of some of the tours i've made, i'd like to go to Prypiat (sp ?) one day. I've always loved ghost towns, Pompei was the first i got to visit when i was a little boy, since then, i go back there from time to times, then came Oradour sur Glane (not sure about the spelling anymore), and finally, I had the occasion to scuba dive in a dam lake to see a ghost village. I love this kind of experiences, must be because i'm a lonely-type of person in my free-time. I think i'm going to spare some money to pay myself a trip to Ukraine some day ....

I easily imagine that's not only a belgian problem here, there were dutroux partners in other Union countries. Well ... pedophily networks and pedophiles are a nasty thing, a disgrace of the Earth's surface, unfortunately, you find deviants everywhere.

next one : Jacques Chirac ? (would be nice to see this old crook finally jailed) back on topic : What was the opinion of the Belgian people about the flawed investigations concerning the affair ? Do people actually believe in the "conspiration theories" to protect political heads ?
