or which haven't been lost due to major flaws and lacks in armored FIBUA skills and organisation ... How many of them have been lost due to all the shit put atop by the crew, catching on fire at the first spark and lighting up the engine ?

105, the Italian centauro on the other hand can be fielded with a 120mm gun. They're all classified as recon vehicles due to their thin skin but their armor weakness are compensed by their speed, mobility, armament and fire control systems. The AMX 10 RC is used as a tank in the french light cavalry regiments. They were first designed with the soviet threat in mind.

Tonton54 is the author thanks for the correction, my bad, I wasn't sure

WHAT it's just a basic shooter then more than a Police SWAT sim !!!!

2 choppers ? hmm, I've never modded anything other than for my own use you may be thinking about someone else's choppers.

An addonmaker called BizaroÄde has made a set on AMX 30's including AMX30, 30B2 and B2 Brennus if I recall correctly. these vehicles unfortunately lack interiors. No AMX10RC in sight. On a totally different league, you have a 10P which has been released by Bibip (I think it was him). You should find these two addons at OFP.info. And btw, sanctuary, the black eagle was made by DKM because it had a gameplay value, a good oponnent for their challenger and a good vehicle for missions taking place in a near future. The AMX40 doesn't hold any of these two interests. I don't say it couldn't be part of an AMX30 pack but I think there are more important things to do before putting ingame the tank that has never seen any kind of operations and never will. There's no real use for it and it's not, in my opinion, worth the effort.
-
The AMX40 has never been fielded in any army there wouldn't be much use for one ingame.

Finally a MO 120 And the 20mm turret on the VAB looks ace too.

here are different versions of the french Lizard pattern

So do I, good ol' paperback from back in the time ... ah that's far away and the 2002 revised edition in .pdf format to keep a little bit up to date from the old CDES website The -pics- from the health and hygiene section haven't changed much and stil frighten me a little bit and make me fear for my ... hum well .. You got a point about the anims but you know that more and more people relase good anim packs (replacement ones orjust new fix ones), wouldn't it be nice to be able to take staged screenies with the LRAC and other rocket launchers fired correctly. Btw, nearly full as in "missing the tenth part" ? for anybody interested in this manual you can find most parts of it on the COFAT (Army Formation Command) website.

From the TTA 150 manual ;) Not 90° but 60° ... how would you look through the sights if your were layng at a 90° angle ? -edit- The picture and text concern a loader in case there's one, but the position of the shooter is the same as seen on the pic wether there's a loader with him or not.

I see it more as a bunch of individuals who instead of going head first in the 197th war against terror/marine pack/wwii full scale mod decide to put up some common effort in doing a small set of addons and missions, no need for a leader actually, once the base of the project is set up with a common weapons and ammo config and a few other standardized things, it would be up to the community members to take up a small project. What's this need for a leader when half of these so called leaders can't even work as a team with their mod mates, let alone be productive ? By adding planes and air vehicles we're already going too far. As hellfish says it would be much easier to limit these packs to ground elements as it's what OFP was ment for. And the CAS and other fire support need could be covered by scripts built into the missions. By asking for aircrafts and custom island object models, you're loosing the main interest of the idea of these mini-mods by already making them too large and complex for what they're ment to be.
-
But I think all this should be done with some standardisation in mind so those mini mods could be used altogether without any conflict/unbalance. This wouldn't steal the job of the bigger mod/addon teams and would be somewhat complementary filling the relative gap built by the lack of "older" units representative of cold war era for exemple as most mods seem to focus on the last state of the art advancement in military technology in the armies they cover (i'm just slightly exxagerating there) but itwould be quite interesting as it could offer us the possibility to somewhat re-enact some past battles of more or less recent conflicts without much hassle. The open source templates should be as complete as possible offering the possibility to addon makes to make a good use of model and texture hidden selections along with room for a few animations to make them even more unnuiversal.

A theater is quite a large thing and there would need to be a huge gas leak for anybody in the neighborhood to smell it. The building itself may not have been supplied with gas but the GDF engineers aren't infallible And it was just an "initial" inquiry based on a few mesurements on the fly and a little check up of the neighboring gas terminals. A couple of years ago, a suicidal person took one of his neighboor in hostage, attempting a suicide by cops ... we kindly asked the GDF people to cut the gas as a precaution ... they told us they did but when we went in, there was a pan with a couple of eggs frying on a gas cooker . -edit-: and no the gas cooker wasn't linked to a gas can but directly on the urban newtork
-
The first division of the Judicial Police is investigating. The main hypothesis are a gas leak, the storing of dangerous materials on a building site inside the theater. The criminal track isn't completely abandonned though. The Théatre de l'Empire is a pretty negligible event hall in spite of the rest of the Parisian theaters and halls that's why it hasn't really made the headlines. To make it short : nobody died = nobody gives a fuck It's already been dismissed by most frenchmen as a simple gas leak which has unfortunately been ignited.

a new civil war anyone ?

Those vehicles aren't South African. I would love to know what they really are, they look baddass They are getting T72's from Romania. NATO's only looking for a way to transport them to Iraq I think the APC is french (i cannot remember). Anyway, I wonder what variant of the T-72 they are getting from Rom. This vehicle is a VCR (Vehicule de Combat Å• Roue - wheeled combat vehicle) from Panhard. We sold about 100 of them in the antitank version to the Iraqis back in the "good ol' days". It's never been fielded by the french army but it's what led to the ERC 90 Sagaie.

Soldiers being the moaning little bitches they are will soon whine about the zippers and the velco fucking up in combat situation ...

Yeah, but at least it's not like this pixelized shit ... God I miss my good old lizard camo ...

I prefer the CRYE multicam pattern ... a bit more oldschool but much more effective looking. multicam picture gallery

Why Dysneyland ... it's so overdone and americanish (and costly too ) ... If you want a theme park, you could go to the Futuroscopeoar rom where I live ... (It needs quite a few more visitors to climb up the slippery slope of bankrupcy héhéhé). Or in place of Cinderella's castle, why not visiting the Loire castles ... (much more interesting IMO, but if you have children with you it will most likely bore them to death). Loire castles Or if you prefer something more how can I say ... entertaining than say old rocks, you have the Puy du Fou theme park which is mainly focused on medieval stuff. Le Puy du Fou theme park

aaaaaaaaaaahh ... still, Paris is a must see. Naturally it became a tourist's haven but it's one of the if not the most beautifull capital in the world. Paris is a world apart from the rest of France.

Only going to Normandy ? France is quite large you know and I know that if I came from as far as you, I would rentabilize my plane ticket and profite of the occasion to go a little bit more to the south ... why not spending a couple of days in Paris or wandering around the Chateaux de la Loire ?
