the cessna bobbing up and down in cutscenes and crap has been there since 1.3, maybe earlier, i just remember making a mission a while back with that cutscene and there was a problem

to be honest w/ u i dont really see the new commands as useful, id rather have the old ones fixed. for instance rather than endlessly creating vehicles to replace destroyed ones, IMO it would be better simply to move the destroyed vehicle back to respawn, automatically repair it, and presto u got replaceable vehicles without having a gazillion vehicles scattered across the map. -
it would not need to be implimented to the AI. look at the crouch, it sure wasnt. in addition, it wouldnt require 2 simple animations, i would require 6. one for standing, one for crouching and one for prone

actually you CAN land on the platform but part of it is an illusion. about the 1/3 of the pad away from the boat doesnt exist. also it can land on the pad its just everyone holds "Z" so the chopper keeps pushing down, even if the chopper is already on the pad.

id love to see mortars and also artillery in the game. not full blown artillery, because the islands are too small but some smaller artillery. maybe mini-self propellered howitzers

ya know what they outta do? make a BRDM with a turret. then to counter it give NATO a halftrack!

o and red it is impossible to come up with a name before you even come up with the campaign story line, i advise you create the campaign story line FIRST then search for a decent name

i wouldnt mind BUT you must have a good story line because i dont want to make some boring ass campaign-and that cant happen with a good story line. ive created alot of missions for myself, but never finished any of them so the majority of my work isnt open to anyone. (so far ive like started on 30+ separate missions and never finished ne of them ) im reasonable at cutscenes, scripting and overall mission editor. for the few examples i have of my mission making: http://www.unknownground.com/winningedge/opf/missions.html i THINK it is if that dont work just remove the missions.html part. the first 3 'Night Surprise' missions i made for the demo when it came out (when the game WASNT out) so they dont really contain any complex scripting - EXCEPT the second, which will slow down ur comp incredibly but has a crap load. the fourth night surprise one u can also use in full version OPF but due to changes in AI sometimes the AI will run into buildings when they didnt use to. the fourth shows my ability at making cutscenes and the last mission "Island Attack" is just a simple one i made a month ago...
