i think what happened is if youve played the early versions of flashpoint (1.3 and less) you know how bad gameplay is with a hideous ping. people started tolerating high pings less after that i think. high pingers arent that bad in opf now, i but it was HORRIBLE playing with them back in early versions of FP cuz of the netcode

why dont they just make some joint-border police force that doesnt have to worry about boundaries? personally i think its really crappy that you HAVE to stop at the border when pursuing someone because what if police on the other side of the border arent ready in time? as was mentioned before, notifying the other police isnt exactly instant. not to mention what if the guy happened to be a mass murderer or something? what should we let him go and take refuge in another country just because canadian police cant reach him in time? its sad to hear that the woman was killed but did the police stop the chase before or after she was killed? according to one of the articles the police turned back shortly after crossing the border but they dont say if it was after he hit the woman?

yea but personally i think it is very evident most of you people arent from the US lol. we arent so much concerned with the economy compared to europe, its more about a view of only our economy. people being unable to find jobs, losing jobs, having their jobs move overseas, using up their benefits, how is each candidate going to help the economy so we can get over this. not "well we want our president to make the US have a GDP greater than europes to show off to europe that we are better". and btw it does affect me alot because even tho i am going to go into college later this year when i get out i dont exactly want to have tons of trouble finding jobs like people are having now. initally i wanted to go into comp sci but i am really getting second thoughts after hearing every other day how 2000 tech jobs here and 500 tech jobs there are moved overseas to india or some other place.

im somewhat confused. Europe+US GDP != US elections. so much for this post (not everybody in the US bases the whole election on how our economy is doing in comparision to europe's if you haven't noticed...unless of course the media decides to make it look that way ) what about their war records, ther stances on everything else? money is not everything. well for some people it is but im not one of them! im all about the flashpoint !!! hehe

i also recommend red storm rising and 1984. i wish they made a movie out of red storm rising though; after watching several tom clancy movies i feel red storm rising would have been one of the better tom clancy movies, if they had it.

i am one of those cti-playing people. i admit i have wayyyy to much free time in that i can play several cti games back to back if i want, but it is very fun IMO if you have the time, the luck and the openmindedness.

what happened to good ole' windows 95 anyway? it could do 90% of what i do now with the windows xp interphase using about a gazillion mb less space. thats not even bringing windows 3.1 into the equation, that is definitely worth the lesser-functionality for like 1/10 the space of windows 95 and 1/1000000000th the space of xp

speaking of which, anyone hear how 1/3 of the iranian lawmakers resigned over all these people being disqualified from their elections? sure even the iranian moderates arent that moderate, but then again stuff doesnt change overnight either. at least things ARE being done. in addition, speaking of egypt president mubarek also some time ago publicly announced that his son would not be his successor, which was contrary to what was widely thought. im not saying that quick changes and reforms are sweeping the middle east, but stuff IS happening. think about it, 1. iran is becoming more democratic 2. egypt is going to become more democratic after mubarek leaves 3. iraq is already on its way (although in a bloody way) to becoming democratic as long as we dont leave early. of course there is always evidence that stuff is going in the opposite direction but i think it is safe to say that over the past 50 years improvement has definitely beeen made.

my pov is to stop being ignorant, just both admit that both sides have done wrong, forget about past relations and all live happily ever after actually my point in that post wasnt point of view, it was that everyones point of view is different and everyones perception of what is "right" is different. but we are only human...
