    ahh you mean while training etc...well, remember that the "weather" is pretty cold "most of the time" in Ru, and also pretty windy. Besides, i think it for the same reasons most US soldiers use gloves, no matter of the weather ;) (i know it is not really the same, but they both offer a certain type of protection).

    lol, you are explaining the bible to the preacher. In any case, since the MC and ADS combo works for shadows as well, i can imagine that using a single multimat for an entire building (interior and exterior) like this one might be a problem for the texel density
  14. you do realize that Project Argo is simply a test bed for the mission design and not for the engine that is going to be used for the final product...

    if the size is pretty big, the second UV set means the texel density is gonna be pretty low (the one used for ADS and MC and MASk). So there is no relation to using or not multimat (yes, for structures one should always use multimats). In any case, the solution is to use split it into 2 multimats (one more section count, i know - you can get away with using the same 4 textures if really needed, although i would take advantage of the second one and use more textures if possible).     does it work: yes. does it mip-map correctly - not really issues is when the game mip-maps that for everyone not using the ultra setting for textures, and the resulted 2k is worse than a directly created textures is. Plus, 4k textures have a tendency of being switched down quite fast by the engine

  20. you own everything you do, so you can sell it later to whoever you see fit. You still own but you cannot sell content made with BI tools (which are marked non-commercial), but i doubt you would use that for anything else but injecting into the game

    not really, we did say after 1.66, but there is no definitive date. PS: next year is still after 1.66, so is 2018 ;) no.maybe.probably. in all seriousness, RHS doesn't "lacks" russian gloves, we simply didn't get to it = time (it brings nothing to the table, so it will happen when one of us will say: "hey, why don't i spend the next few days making gloves" - it also means we need to duplicate .p3d file(s) to get the "gloves uniform" variant(s) ). i hope this answers your "curiosity"

    mods p3d these days are made in other software and exported as .FBX btw... i really don't get the question though...
