  5. having a certain animation for a certain weapon is more than possible. the real issue is that the rtm files (animations) are still TABU subject for most modder around here. Needless to say that documentation, or examples are non-existant. The few that have experienced with those in A1/A2 are Solus-SLX and teacup the latter is pretty busy and left the modding community even before A2 If some docu, or examples or some sort of start point would be available (might be in fact, just that I am not aware of such thing) it open a new door for some of us modders. BTW: you don't need a mocap studio to create new animations. Most of the professional software (available on some of the BI community members) such as 3ds Max, Maya, XSI, etc have very complex rigging tools for this very purpose. While i am able to rig a character in MAX for instance, i have no idea how i could export that to a format (rtm?) that Bi engine would read from.. There is a Maya RTM Tool set in beta stage released by teacup for A1, was unable to make that work as i would have wanted (brief testing on my part though).

    You can already use equipment as long as the credits are given...It depends on what do you mean by USE. If you are expecting someone to give you mlod files...well.. It all depends on what you are working on, and some additional info about why you need some weapon equipment for would only help ppl who might give you a reply here.

I hope you realize that the image you posted has nothing to do with this thread, and that there is a purpose i have posted in wip thread..my model is a model D, being built from ground up Next time i would suggest linking to bis thread where the original post was made @punisher: The pic there does not reflect the curent state of the model anymore.. Noticed that i somehow mistakenly moved the alq back just after i posted that pic. It has been fixed, as well as the main rotor size and proportions. Cheers for the links though. Might come in handy Working on weapon pods -replacing the gun with the new fn m3p, as well as adding aditional detail to the tail rotor. Sorry for highjacking this thread.

  18. without willing to drag this conversation forward, it was not meant to be an insult.. if you wanna see my previous work, i am can send you a link to my portfolio (architecture, interior design and models and renders of those..). All models related to Bi games and UDK i do in my own free time, for the fun of it..I use PS, Max, Autocad on an daily basis.. So let's get back on topic, shall we?

  22. cheers for your infinite wisdom mate.:rolleyes: I have done it like this for the purpose of having some more visible with a simple AO render rather then my own AO time to time passes. So yes, i have used it for lighting here... Kiowa is indeed alive, i have been busy with work related stuff, i am redoing some topology that i wasn't happy with, i need to finish the tail rotot as well. But other than that the low poly mesh is almost done; the highpoly is around 2 mil atm, need some tweeks here and there, floating geometry etc. Will post another AO pass soonish (using it as lighting again...;)) of the whole model.
