Allow me to dissagree with you on some stuff: 1. PAA file will always work better since some GFX cards can't read JPG files properly, no matter if those are 2^n or not. 2. ArmaTech works fine indeed, but it also limits the amount of options one can display via XML. If one ones his own server, it is way easier to host XML on your own

I think this is not such a well know thing, so i am gonna post it here: There are 2 speeds for SIghts up animation: 1. Sights up 2. Sights up then walk toggle button Even so, the issue with the sights jumping all over the place when walking does 2 things in BI games: a) leads to most contacts being dealt from a standing position (more accurate) even at short distances b) shooting from hip at medium distances from a standing position as the recoil is just the same as it is from sights up. The culprit is the actual animation, which has been fixed in A1 ACE version by actually replacing it. Unfortunately that same anim doesn't work anymore due to the bone system being changed for A2. -
while customizing gear is fairly easy done via scripts, i am all for such an editor upgrade. It should be fairly easy implemented. Unfortunatly, the one major step since OFP was the unfinished 3d editor that came with A2, but which remained untouched so far. I can't really see it happening to be honest, as i guess the editor upgrades are on the bottom of priority list for BIS atm for one reason or the other

Do whatevr you want, but NOT in this thread CO = OA with A2 as addon. It doesn't matter which one is retail and which one is steam, if you got them installed properly, it should be working YES, ACE 1.3 and A2 -

That is only config work, best way would be to open up the vanilla pbos for hat Sorry, that is not possible, since there is no way you can convert the incoming file into the BIS .rtm animation file. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=83921 There is none, since you can't really import animation files into Arma. If you are asking for generic animation tuts, there are plenty around the web. Google is your friend -

You paid about 30 euros on OA, or about 40 euros for CO. You saying that 10eus for BAF is overpriced? Then skip it. No one is forcing it upon you. But let me tell you something there, after looking over your rig specs: THAT is something i call overpriced -

1. BIS stated that all engine improvements coming with BAF DLC will be available via a patch to everyone, regardless of whether or not one buys the DLC. THAT will be supported by ACE. 2. The DLC content cannot be integrated into ACE for obvious reasons. You cannot force everyone to buy the DLC in order to use ACE. Even so, everyone is welcome to get the BAF integrated into ACE, and guidance and support will be provided for it. (see ACEX_PLA for instance, which was done by fromz by himself, following ACE layout) So please, understand the above, and get back on the topic. -

No one is stopping you to do just that And it has been said like 3 times now: That manpower is not 1 big chuck. For an addon such as this DLC, you only need creative artists (modellers, texture artists etc), while fixing the bugs you need programmers. Please do NOT mix those Is that clear now? -
