For textures only, you can HEX edit the paths of the .p3d

    What must I do ?

You won't be able to modify any of the p3d files in A2/OA http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ODOL#ODOL_File_Formats

    ArmA 2 on PlayStation 3

How would BI fit 100 or so keybinds on a joypad? How would BI manage to get content that has problems loading from a normal/fast HDD drive from a DVD disk real-time? This reminds me that most of todays games don't have a fire selector, or lean keys on PC, mainly because the consoles don't have enough buttons..
  6. only OA weapons have IR or Flahslights working (have to be modeled on those). easiest thing would be to test with the SCARs

What Yoma said (by default that is)
  11. 1. inside your characters.pbo in \arma2\addons or arma2\extension\addons or OA\addons (depends on the case A2, CO, stand OA). The models file extension is called .p3d 2. You will need BIS tools installed before anything else. Even if you are gonna be modelling in another software than O2, you will still need those. Now, the bad news is that you won't be able to open/import those .p3d files that you are going to find, since those are in ODOL format (binarized) You can always try your hand with A1 models available here, in MLOD format that you can work with. There have been few changes from A1 to A2, but depending on Addon, it might work or not. You could also try THIS Soldier Template released bi Binko some while ago 3. You need to open those. You can use a number of tools such as (my favourite trusty) cpbo, Eliteness (i use that as well) or unPbo (that is if you find a link to get it) Once opened, it will extract (just like an zip archive) the contents of those files. 4.That is really really general question. An addon is anything from a set of scripts, to a config file, to a new model, to some retuxered one etc The above answers your pointed questions, but i am sure it will not help you out all that much. Making (or even changing a new model) takes a lot of time, patience and skills. If you haven't done any previous 3d models and worked with 3d modelling software before, it is gonna take a while to get your head around all the problems that you might encounter. Before anything else, i would watch some tutorials about what moddeling actually means. there are plenty on the web(gnat tuts are great and all, but those are not actually modelling tuts, and he starts from the premises that you are already sort of familiar with BIS development environment - which obviously you are not).
  12. You wont see that in any other product from BI than VBS2 hmmm no TY There is already a thread about this, maybe use search function next time Already in, but not in a finished state. Whatever flies your boat, since i have no idea what the hell you mean.. Why would anyone want that? LOL, give me a break...isn't...that game...DEAD yet? As a general rule, before suggesting stuff, i would get acquainted with A2 editor..
  13. Hello and welcome. The issue you are having is most likely due to the fact that most servers are running Combine Operation (OA and ArmA2)
  14. best addon out there for ppl calling OFP addons better and plentier. cheers takko, will surely give this a run..
  15. No, since the ace_config is bases on your own a2/ia config. There is mo way around this I afraid
  16. Megaupload and alike will put a download link for you. You need direct access to it. IE: http://www.kellys-heroes.eu/squad/OA/squad.xml. The PAA is in the same folder (wwroot\OA\)

  18. idealy, on your on FTP space, on your own server. It needs to be in a place where you can link a direct URL for it. There are some free FTP hosts around the web IRC, with limited space, granted, but you don't need more than a few megs anyways
  19. check your video options, and sort out your aspect ratio acording to your monitor if this is not the case, please post a screenshot (an image worth 1000 words)
  20. So true mate. Haven't even looked where he placed his files...:)
