  1. Hey, sorry if I'm in the wrong forum, but I thought this was right, since I'm looking for a mod, and not an addon. My computer's framerate on this game is sufficient challenge for lining up the gun sights. I've read some time ago that your bullets are programmed not to fire where you aim. A search just now didn't yield that thread, or any solution. Maybe I didn't search well, but... I can't be the only one driven crazy by this. I was on the singleplayer sabatour mission, and I was chasing a guy, in their camp, with my m4. I stopped, and was crouched on one knee, about 12 feet behind the guy, and missed with an entire clip and a half, before he had time to stop, go prone, turn around, aim, and put at least 4 blood spots on my monitor before the screen went black. I hope it's not a per-weapon thing...Can/has somebody fix/ed this yet?

    1.06 Changelog?

The way those issues are phrased suggests to me that they're known issues with the current patch. Are these items fixed in this version? Should I read all of these items in PAST tense?

    optional alternative flight model

Well, you're probably not going to like it, I don't. It's definately dumbed down from OFP. Pandering entirely to the mouse, no-joystick crowd. I only skimmed this thread, but I see what a hot topic it's become. In trying to adapt to maybe the way it's gonna stay, I pushed the joystick away, and tried to fly with just the mouse and keyboard. Yawing made fair, if unrealistic, sense, from a control-perspective, but it's very arcady. Since I'm an arrowkey user, and not a WASD guy, maybe, I found there's no handy way to change the cyclic pitch, so I had to reach back, grab the joystick, mid-flight, and use the throttle control anyway. From my trial with it, it seems that for one to rely on this new, mouse-friendly flight model, they must also rely on the autohover, which I never needed(after getting experienced with it) in OFP, to make up for the combining of yaw and bank, and cyclic and collective pitch. I hope that they change this, or at least make a toggle in the control options for mouse-only freindliness. I hope they didn't do the same kinda thing to the fixed-wingers!!

    Triple Head Help

For two monitors, you'll have to select Span-mode in your Windows desktop properties. Then select that resolution in the game. The middle of the screen is going to be right between your monitors, though!! You might be able to compensate for this, a little bit, by shifting the image off-center on each monitor, using the MONITOR's controls. I think that's the best you can do...That's what I was trying to do, till I found out about the matrox and got my tax refund, lol

    Triple Head Help

I just got it working(Matrox box plus 3 monitors)!! It friggin' ROCKS!! Problem though!! (and this pertains to the demo, 'cause that's all I have): Upon setting up the Multiplayer mission, the book that has your mission briefing is unreadable. The tabs at the top of the pages are all smooshed together. It is impossible to read anything, and although I can click on the links to be taken to that part of the map, I don't know what it says. I can just barely make out the tiny line that changes color upon mouseover. This is regardless of any(triple head) resolution. If I try to drag the book onto another monitor, it goes, but the cursor becomes that crosshair-thing on the map, but the map, on either outside monitor, isn't rendered. So, for me, triple head means I can't grab the m136, in the group tab, like I usually do. Hope this helps, BIS, and I hope, OP, that you don't feel I'm trying to hijack, as you may find this informative also. Thanks!!

How does the new hardware play OFP?

I'll be running 3 screens on my Gforce7950GTO after tomorrow. How do you change the Field of View in the game?
