To be honest mate I don't think it will, The F-35 is not a true fighter. ITs supposed to replace the A-10, Harrier and F-16 in ground attack/fighter-bomber roles. Ruskies have the SU-25, yes alot older, but still more than able to turn tanks into scrap metal.

I've never known a weapons's manufacturer to cancel a project, only the customer. There are few question marks surrounding the JSF program.

dunno about that, the L1A1s sound alright to me. Big, powerful and manly. A few things I have noticed is a few guns are missing sounds. The L42 Sniper Rifle, and the M60 on a tripod. A few other issues I've also noticed is the armoured vehicles are missing their engine sounds. You can hear their tracks as the move but no actual engine sounds. a few errors in the config file prehaps? I'll test a bit more with a few more weapons see if i can see anymore with the same problem. Lastly the German MAN truck, the steering wheel does not turn. But actually tilts on a vertical axis, so when you turn the steering wheel goes through the window. Other than that some great stuff, will sure enjoy playing with those British Para's

What other UK mods are there? Faulkner was doing 1950s-1985 equipment but has stopped work and handed some of his work over to P85. Other than this UKF is the only mod that is doing a British Army specific mod.

Models seem okay to me mate, I wouldnt worry abut textures, not everyone can do it, infact alot of the model makers here get a person to help them with it. I'm sure Vilas will make great use of it.

I think another problem with US car companies is they produce too many SUVs, 4x4s & other large vehicles. I can't remember the last time GM produced a cost effective 5 door family saloon car. Would be interesting to see if diesel would catch on in personal cars if it was more widely available in the US. Here in the UK they have become really popular.

Er they didnt do a BMP-T, they did a BTR-T Which is based on the T-55 Chassis not the T-72s...

Just to mention about the helmet thing, in the stan, quite a few Paras seem to have had 6 colour 'choc chip' helmet covers so its not totally unrealistic.

They look pretty good, one little comment though. The Union Flag on the Para's shoulder I'm pretty sure at the time of the conflict they didnt wear flags, I'll have to look into it though.

Its not an understatment in saying BIS/BIA have made a nice little earner with VBS1 & VBS2. They should be fine for the future.

Hi there, I've bitten the bullet and decided to have a go at writing my own replacement config for ArmA, Replacing the QG mercs with the MGS4 style mercs. Simple enough or so I've been told. But I seem to get an error when I start up ArmA with this file. I have very little idea on what I'm doing here so I'll post the config up here, any help would be wonderful.

Very nice Wld, could I make one suggestion? could you give them long sleeved shirts? It was one of the few things that bugged me with the RACS soldiers in ArmA. Just seems unrealistic to have shirts that like that have been simply cut. Just a thought.

"Sea Trials" were conducted in 2005 and it acheived full "maritime certification" (its not the proper term but i cant remember what it should be) in early 2006. Â There wasnt really an serious modification required. All that was necessary was a small upgrade to some seals and a replacment of some normal service parts with higher spec items: filters etc. Â They didnt even change the paint job! Were the rotors not modified so they could be quickly folded and unfolded for use on carriers rock? Or was the AH1 able to do this before hand?
