I recently got hold of a collecters edtion of the CZ version of the game. Installed with no errors, setup prompted that you required starforce. I did as the program instructed and installed the software. It them prompted that must restart my machine to complete the process. Apon restarting my machine here is when i start to have issues. Each time my pc was restarted as soon as it reached the desk top the pc frooze. Trying many times to correct the problem the only thing that fix the error was the complete removal of starforce. The weird thing is i have a copy of Lock On Gold and it uses starforce and i have never ever had any issues with it. What i want to know are people having simliar problems? is it a known issue? is there a patch to fix the issue? is there one in the works? is there anyway to fix it? (No links or talks of cracking the software please!, i just would like help on how to get the game running thank you.) If there is nothing that could be done i would like to know where i can lodge a complaint about this. do i speak to BI? the publishers or the developers of Starforce themselves? System: Windows XP SP2 (with the latest hotfixs and patches) AMD 4000 64bit cpu 2Gig Corsair RAM 7800 GT 512mb gfx

Well the vest i have seen so far, go well with what you have got, you could always do a rifleman with and with out the vest. Imo I like the soldier with the vest.

Hmmm Vietnam era flakjackets? you'ed be lucky to find any that provide any projection, those things are more like collectors items, the PAGST Body armour, would seem to be a more sensiable option, though i do notice the helmet seems to Polish or russian? would make sense to get the armour ( if they did indeed get any from the same place they got the helmets )

I've not had to use the CD in the DVD-ROM since whoa, must be at least 2 years now, not since at least patch 1.85 if not earlier did I have to have the CD in the drive. I play sp & mp all the time i have no such issues you are concerned about.

The SVD is there as its still the main sniper rifle issued by Russian forces, simple as that. And if you bothered to read the readme there is another sniper rifle in the back though I am not sure it is the rifle you mention. Stop questioning the team but every little thing they didnt include we now have a large selection of russian units and it is MORE than enough. RHS deserve a pat on the back for their work and people need to stop buggint them about weapons and tanks were not included. Main reason being they do not form the bulk of the current russian army. /rantoff

Why would you want extactly the same units from GR? If you want to play Ghost Recon play Ghost Recon. The current addons in the game look more or less the same if you want a character from the game. You'll need a custom face texture and apply it via the mission editor. There problem solved.

You would need to make a custom config. I myself have no idea how its done but there is a few that may know. May take some item editing the config.....

whats the point? Any units in GR, you can find in ofp, US Infantry, Special Forces etc etc as well a shit load of weapons to choose from.....
