I need this music for my missions and...
peanuckle_00 posted a topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Can anyone get the looped music off of this site and find a way to get it to me? http://www.metalgearsolid2.de/site/auswahl.html I've been looking all over for music that would make a mission really good by rousing the player and inspiring and motivating and pumping him up and this is it but how do I get it? I was thinking of going into my computers temporary internet files but i forgot how to locate them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -
Nice pics guys. This post was meant to show mine but its not working right now.

Is Flash MX the expensive program sold to create flash projects? Also how can I get my hands on it? -
The website to the US Navy mod is located here. Oh and please oh please make a grey F15 even if it has to have a United States Insignia on it. Or you can just release it with a pack of insignias and let us choose. Grey is a very good looking fighter.

I never had a car. My brother drives a red 91 pontiac bonneville and installed a tail fin on the backm, spraypainted over the original paint using black spraypaint, silver, red did some funky 80's style graphics on the hood, tinted all the windows, put like some sticker on the windshield at the top that says "SUPERSTREET" which in my opinion is so generic, put all kinds of stickers on it of stuff he doesn't even know about like "Prodigy" thinking he's expressing his intellectual side, put fake air intakes on the sides and hood, spraypainted the hub caps red, put on like some kind of racing seat belt padding, bought like 3 entire radio setups and pawned them all over the course of like two years so now his radio is a little piece of crap compared to what he used to have three times in the past. It looks like a piece of crap. It's a real junker. He should be ashamed of it, but he lives in some kind of alternate universe upstairs if you know what I'm saying. He asked my mom to buy him (he's 27 I think?) a new car so that he could sell his car to me. I'm like, "I don't want that car. It's trashed. You've ruined it.", and he's like, "Nooo, it's not trashed." As far as how it drives, he's pretty much trashed that too. He's one of those guys where he'll give you something then ask for the money later so I turned down the offer. My suggestion to all of you is don't live with a liar. My brother lies about everything and only ends up fooling himself. Could you imagine trashing anything even similar to this car? His car is very similar in structure...kinda, but now its trashed.

Yeah good point. It definitely detracts from the realism with onscreen cues and popups to help out the player. If it were as real as flashpoint but more real I'd say the gaming industry is making great advances in terms of listening to the players out there and actually making games to suit their wants. However, a gaming company is going to make what they're going to make you know? If they don't want to target a key audience they're going to end up trying to please everyone and fall short. Flashpoint targeted in on people who want realistic immersion.

I think what is most needed is a new EA-6B Prowler. Second most needed is a new F14 which I've heard someone is doing. Third most needed is Vit to update his F16 pack. The released F15, and F/A18 are done to the best of the authors ability.

You guys want to know more about this game?... Soldner: Secret wars. Is it A squad based simulator with a story though? No. Want to see how it was made?.... go here.
-
Yeah all the immature kids want to be snipers. That's true. I'm going to go to those forums for soldner and register to start talking. I suggest you all join me.

Well, Hudson just posted on ofp.info. It's me again guys. I hope that you like all the features but there's just one feature that I'm disappointed isn't in the pack and thats the working gps in the cockpit from that dkm commanche 1.1.

Thats right. Well, OFP is good gaming and I hope that BIS can add additional fixes and features to basically make the OFP franchise the best there is in tactical gaming for the next 5-10 years. You won't see me moving to Russia to help though. Edit: West and East programmers should start talking. Basically, BIS programmers could learn alot from the programmers of Ghost Recon. A good topic of duscussion would be look at how all of the features of OFP aren't in Ghost Recon and vice versa. Just imagine if they both combined talents? If BIS wants to make a career out of this gaming business they're going to have to start making efforts at improving on good ideas rather than moving on to next ones so fast. Money makes a business expand not ideas. Alot of people are saying how Americans are thick but we've latched onto this little European franchise and let ourselves imagine how it could be better and are offering our ideas. It's time BIS listens.

BIS needs to focus on making the OFP franchise the definitive tactical shooter for the next five to ten years. I think in order to accomplish what I'm about to tell you that the PC requirements will be very high, but hey, risks must be taken. You just want to make a very good product. Did Capcom think about people who are broke and can't afford a 200 dollar game when they made Steel Battalion? No. They went ahead and released an innovative new product and basically sent out the message that "Hey we know the product is pricey. However if you want to be able to play with this new controller we thought up you'll need the cash." In ofp I want to see an accurate flight model, alongside the accurate soldier movement, no matter the expense of memory. I want to see an editor with more options in the triggers and waypoints. I want to see a friendly interface thus removing the need to memorize codes and scripts(ie. Microsoft making Windows instead of forcing you to know DOS code. I want the player be able to open up the box and be able to script very complicated procedures. Thanks go out to the creators of the sp/mp addon pack.). I want to see players gradually slow down( at least one or two seconds) after sprinting rather than sprinting and coming to an immediate halt. I want to see the characters feel pain from running into a wall at high speed or at least get dazed. I want there to be a sound file for when a soldier collides into a wall or brushes up against a wall(Never before done in a game). You hear it when tanks do so why not soldiers? I want houses to have holes in them from tank rounds or some kind of crumbling so that they gradually break down rather than cave in(Geo Mod technology) and I don't care how much processor it requires because I'll buy that PC since this is an interest of mine. I want it to be possible to walk around inside a chinook WHILE ITS MOVING and other objects moving on moving objects. I want to see a ship that moves with the things on its deck not falling off. I want to hear new voices for the command menu. I want the player to be able to choose whether the body they use in the game is female or male ( to branch out to females who may want to play) along with female faces to better represent girl players. I want more accurate collision detection so that people don't run through walls, fall into objects, or fall through solid floors. It's not much but if the improvements that I suggested above could be made, the game would be more appealing to the tactical shooter enthusiasts out there who have been wishing for this kind of thing for years. The historical accuracy of the game is perfect as well as the bullet physics but not other physics like a heli moving with soldiers walking around inside. The physics were okay, but could use the work that ive outlined in this paragraph. The graphics have been taken care of already. Any more focus on graphics and I'll have to admit someone at BIS is really not being on task. I'd be like, "sheesh guys okay its good enough now leave the graphics alone. Look at what else you could improve to make this game the greatest for the next five to ten years."

For this weapon pack will you be adding in the M16/M203 with ACOG scope? I think BAS never made one, neither did BIS, someone else may have but you guys could release one with this pack since I haven't seen it before and this will be high profile. Perhaps you guys will set the standards for that rifle.

Zanzibar war would be cool. An entire island ruled by Big Boss. No new island or anything. What was Zanzibar's climate? I can do the music for the mod. I know what you're thinking how lazy, but I'm not going to use just music from mgs2. I'm going to use composed music and real good stuff too. A mix of several 10-30 second tracks that fade out indicating important parts in the mission. I'm currently lending my voice acting skills to a campaign and I'm working up the story to a multiplayer campaign I'm working on myself. By the way if a Metal Gear Solid mod was to come out I'd gladly lend my voice to that.

Yes, the Allies in Arms (AIA) mod is making a ww2 carrier.
-
This map is desperately needed. I'm going to have a real ball. I just wonder how you place units in a cave.
-
You gotta release this script to the US Navy mod. They're jollily on their way to making a USA carrier. US Navy Mod.

Now those are modern spetz natz. Dang!

The m4 with the camera on it has come a long way since the photo you've seen in this thread. I know. I've seen the latest version. The OICW isn't going to be accepted by the United States Army till it meets the weight quota for an assault rifle by this country. I'm not telling what that weight is or the timetable. From what I understand It's weight is somewhere between and M16/M203 and an M60. Edit: To sum it all up one of those rifles will make it into combat, the other one may never make it out.

The armed uaz is one vehicle I am in dire need of. It's a must have for any war torn scene. -
Okay metal gear solid universe involves terrorists, espionage, russians, lots of cool stuff that will let you kill folks. It's not jumping and hitting concrete blocks for mushrooms and flowers, its not kicking soccer balls, its not driving in a ferrari and singing songs.

I know a guy named USMC sniper who could do it for you. That looks likea nice gun. I will definitely download it.
