    thx zap jamesia, its the wrecked model of the mtlb. it has the doors opened. dauragon: rrriiiighty! but i didnt photoshop the doors open thou  used blurlayers with alpha channel and adjusted the light, as you can see on the sky (i hate it :P ) added the smoke via brush and blurtool gonna attach another image, as soon as my crappy lycos tfp tool wants to move... //edit: bleh... uploaded it to our serverwebspace now KSK squad ineserts at sarugao desert zone 1280x1024 gif version

    very true, pcverden. sarugao was the first custom island that introduced new textures -in some parts only thou- and i still like it the most of all island addons  this island should really be more spread through the community. it´s got the best countryside layout and topographic. you got a desert, a military island, an airstrip island (seen on the screenshot) and a big capital etc etc. but too bad schusch never made another island... //edit: anti spam- attachement  not sure if i posted this one already: http://mitglied.lycos.de/togukawa/recon.jpg pic size over 100kb

    OT: hell, i almost threw up my lunch when i saw the picture yesterday. but i think it was some kind of "hotlink picture blocker" or something, because the filename of the pic wasnt changed... maybe it was the webmaster of the page, the pic was sitting on. however... ontopic: very nice work, footmunch! i´m not a quite big ofp- plane fan, but it´s very interresting to see how your quality progresses on every addon. keep it up and keep em coming.

    say, how did you make the cockpit islandmaps? my custom.paa file of sarugao looks like picasso with diarrhea i did it like this: merged 4 screenshot parts of sarugao editor view in photoshop and saved it as 256x256.tga. then converted to .paa format. now yours look like vektorgraphics converted to non- midmap .paa files.
  5. player as laserguy -simply select your LD and "fire" on the target. a diamond crosshair will appear. now stay in this position and wait until the plane/ chopper arrives. -give your planes/ choppers a waypoint nearby your position or the target: "open fire" mode. hint: works best if you remove the the machinegun on the a10lgb ---> init: this removeweapon "machinegun30a10" player as a10/ chopper pilot -put a LD blackop on the map near your target. give him waypoint near his target to designate. make sure he has a line of fire to his targets. hint: use waypoint "on activation" code: blackopguy dofire targetblah hinthint: AI can only designtate armored targets, ie bmps. maybe soft targets, like mgs and jeeps aswell, not sure.

    hmm strange condition a.) i made a mission where you have to designate laser targets for an a10 carrying lgbs. it just takes the plane to find the correct engagement angle for a while, but it definately worked. (tested with BIS LD and BAS LD) and condition b.) a couple days ago we played naguals "assault&destroy" mission on nogova with littlebirds and rangers. one ranger carried a LD and the littlebird gunship fired at those LD targets. actually i´m not really certain about that, the the littlebird pilot WAS definatelly asking who was lasing around... afaik all clients had the same ofp version 1.91 (so does the server too). sry dude i cant remember how it has been, when we had the linux server thou, but it works like mentioned in the list above on dedicated windows servers

    collected bug report from dedicated windows server ------------------------------------------------- SOAR PILOTS *ai wont disembark when soar is pilot (even on LB) BLACKHAWKS *same as above with soar: ai in non grouped squad wont disembark when on ground... you have to let them "eject" *when pilot uses "fast rope insertion (for troops in cargo)" heavy lagg will start temp fix: let cargo teamleader perform the action *DAP hellfires/ guns cant lock on laser targets (SP and MP game) JAM *jam pk/ m60 mgunners (non- hd version) shoot a bit too high from distances >150m ... bullets fly by over head *no reload sound for at4 ------------------------------ thats all so far... i might have forgotten something, will post later. hope this helps

    just wondering: are you using some new type of streetlamps? the current ones by BIS are more like floodlights in a football stadium. so many islands use a lot of them to illuminate big towns, which is pointless, because actually 3 would to it too...

    if it works on non dedicated host servers and BIS is improving the netcode for 1.92final anyways: wouldn´t it be a simple copy & paste job for BIS, transfering the code from the HOST config to the DEDICATED config? here´s my review of the whole situation: dedicated windows server *human OH58 pilot and gunner: NOT WORKING *human OH58 pilot and AI gunner: WORKING ------ *human chopper pilot and human gunner with any other chopper having the laserdesignator added by init: WORKING ------ *human soldier with LD: WORKING *AI soldier with LD: WORKING

     LOL!!!!! Will it come with a snorting animation? ooh, it looked like doobies to me oh and mastakilla: you really wanna have this laboratory- shit beeing legalized??? well looks like some sort of "speed" to me it´s been used (and still in use!) by many armies so far to push their soldiers, and raise their aggression level and lower their pain and hunger feeling.

    oh this old problem...  sure kegs, it works very well with the ground forces laser. but it just doesnt work with the OH58. i bet there´s some wrong coding in the turret defintion of it. basically what i do now, if want to simulate airborne laser designation is: take any chopper EXCEPT the BIS or BAS OH58 and give it the OH58 laser in order to pretend it´d be ForwardLookingInfraRed... you´ll see it will work there won´t be any solution for this prob unless nobody fixes this in the OH58 config Â

    has anyone here access to the flashpoint.ru forums or in any way contact to laser? i heared he´d only talk in the russian forum about his addon. i´m asking, because i´m curious if anybody has suggested him to use JAM on his weapons in the upcoming next version.

    didnt use the scripted command. those were the conditions: tested map on local adsl server ->human mh60 pilot not grouped with cargo ping= 73 -->human team leader in cargo with 3 ai members ping= 45 *mh60 pilot gets in hold position **mh60 pilot actions "fast rope insertion (for troops in cargo)" ***cargo fastropes -> high bandwith useage starts ------------------------ human team leader ping <300 ~ >600 ~ <100 desynch= ~10000 ... very laggy human pilot ping <150 ~ >350 ~ <150 desynch= ~35 - ~0 ... not much lag ------------------------- ...gonna report again with dedicated 100mbit server and monitor- command it could be very possible, that all the script information from each player would flood the server bandwith.

    we encounter the same on our server. whenever you fastrope, it laggs horrible and doesnt seem to end- even when you did the fastroping 5min ago. i was thinking of a script that doesnt end and loops over and over. and sometimes plain flying with the helos creates high usage of bandwith too. could it be that its the position- display script? i really hope there´s a small bug in coding, because we really love the fastrope feature. its so much fun to deploy your team in the places where you perform fast flare landing insertions. gonna let you know if we get more information about what exactly causes the lag.

    //edit: script first crashed ofp. got it fixed now my script should do this: it´s activated via a trigger that checks the dammagelevel of the suspect (>0.3) *suspect has 5seconds time to try defending himself *the suspect drops his weapon *he surrenders if you are an experienced scripted -unlike me  - you´ll see that the script should check 2 conditions. it does check if the leader is close to the suspect to arrest him. but it doesn´t check if the suspect is dead... could someone please give me a clue how to check both conditions?

    thanks for this great addon!  had a lot of fun playing it online yesterday. now there´s one thing i discovered on the ah60dap: you can´t lock on the hellfires to laser targets. i´d be a nice addition to be able pointing targets while the dap unleashes its deadly arsenal it´s already very much fun to have an ah6 ripping down the spots you designate and how about adding a variable that locks the doors to the opened position? it´s kinda annoying seeing other players messing around with the doors- especially if troops sit on the side of the cargo space  sure, mission designers could still look into the config and remove the action by typing it in the choppers config, but this´d be a lot easier for us  oh! and i hope that the littlebirds are going to receive the fantastic shell casing effects too. it was so cool to see the shells rain down, while extracting by ladder  cheers, pang

    if some guys dont get it, that the blackhawks depend on two other addons, i´m sorry for them... i mean, come on fellas! JAM is some cool thing, isnt it? just imagine: new sounds for each ammo class, new ballistics for ALL ammo types and all this in an colaborated work between 2 addonteams!!! what do you think? BAS and earl&suchey enterprises works all day and night long in their superclimated megatower complex and all are connected to a intravenous coffeine apparature it´s freaking hot outside, so don´t you guys think their girlfriends drag addonmakers to the lake or swimming bath aswell as us? jeeeez, everybody chill down! go out and enjoy the hot hot heat grab your friends and have a bbq at a lake, or whatever... but please stop waiting the whole weekend for this addon, using your personal delay time to complain about them and their policy!!! whats gonna be, if the addon will come out (-lets say) tuesday or even wednesday? i personally would laught at myself, having waited inside my appartment, clicking "F5" on the BAS site, every 10seconds. think about it... cheers, go out and create something.

    i think the mh60l version does neither have the fueltanks, nor the refuelling prope, from what i remember... so plan ur mission like this: use the mh60K for stories like beeing inserted from far away (i.e. us to columbia) and the mh60L for island based raids/ insertions.
