    us marine, put your two fingers out of your brain and try to form them like this "V". btw you can smile with your face too, so just try it. man, i´m just trying to give you ideas how to make your addon even better. and i´m quite sure that you can include a script in the plane´s config, to avoid this diving and let the bombs be more accurate. i´d have tried working it out by myself, but since the config is binarized, i just cant.

    well personally i think you should try to update your f15e, when you´re talking about realism, deadsoldier.... i really respect your hard work and all the time you put in this addon, but hey: as long as a modern aircraft divebombs targets, i dont look at it as an realistic addon, sry to say.... why don´t you try to use some of the original BIS "a10lgb" config parts in it, as this plane really bombs the targets in a realistic (talking of the ofp engine) way. anyways, that´s just constructive critism, dont get offend by it last buit not least: looking forward for the final f18 result. i wish you good luck and i hope everything works well with your work aon this addon, hudson.

    that´s alright, makes waiting more exciting i´m sure you guys will surprise us with some more special features for that ah64d....and of course for the other units  so, would be a release date, somewhen the first week of january be realistic for the ch47 and unit pack?

    tell me, did you try to use parts of the BIS a10lgb config for those bomb-runs? yeah i know.... now comes the old story about the f15´s bombs, not hitting targets.... but besides it, the f15 keeps crashing into buildings, trees or just the ground, when flying over rough terrain. it´d even look better, if the f15 wouldn´t attack like a WWI bomber
  9. hey guys, i hope you got any solution for my problem: since i alt- tabbed between ofp and my desktop several times, my mouse seems to be messed up. the problem wont even disappear, if i reboot.... even worse: now i got everytime i start up my computer, a bouncing mouse and a keyboard that hits the F12 key continuosly. but when i start up ofp and alt tab back to desktop, the mouse and keyboard work fine, but only if i keep ofp running in the background.... seems like ofp messed up something with my mouse and keyboard drivers.... here are my system- specs: a7v333 mainboard sound onboard athlon xp2200+ 512 ddr ram win2kpro gf4 ti4200 -------- running ofp v.1.90 with a logitech optical mouse, using the basic windows-mouse driver latest directx and nvidia drivers installed

    so now im really confused.... ok, i started up my system today and the mouse and keyboard just worked fine right from the beginning.... well actually this makes me happy, because the problem seems to have wipeouted itself hmm, anyways: i´m still curious what was the reason....

    yes, im gonna try removing one of those drivers later... first i gotta do some work on my pc first, and i dont really want to make it even worse, before i finished the important work. i´ll let you know, if this worked or not, maybe tomorrow or the day after. greetings pang

    ~too tall~, dont waste your nerves on those jealling kids... yeah, deadsoldier and us_marine did a great job on that F15E, so THANKS for such a great addon well but here comes some constructive critism: how about making a "real" pilot with one of those breathing- masks for your plane(s)? you could use kinda animation like seb and ebud used for their chopper-pilot-visors for that mask like a "attach mask" actionmenu- entry, where the mask moves towards the pilots face. .. that´d be stylish, wouldn´t it? i experienced, that those GBU bombs miss their target about 50m. anyone experienced the same? aint there any way of making the AI use the bombs in a flight-maneuver like the a10lgb does, without dive-bombing? i dont mind the nuke, cos im not going to use it anyways.... i´m really looking forward for that 1.90 version and your other projects, but first off: "good luck with your semester, deadsoldier" greetings, pang

    the weird thing is, that it doesnt happen if ofp IS running.... i have a USB-graphics-tablet installed, too but its mostly off. i have two mouses displayed in my system/mouse/hardware entry.... one entry says PS/2 compatible mouse, the other one says HID compatible mouse.... i´m not sure if one of these entries may be the graphics-pen-device, or its a doubled mouse driver-thing

    have a logitech optical USB mouse connected to a USB->PS/2 switch.... so i had my mouse plugged in the ps2 port. switching to usb neither helped. the mouse still bounced to the upper right corner of the desktop and the keyboard hit that f12 aswell..... so it didnt help in any way... anyway thanks for your replies so far, but i think that only one of those programmers may have a sulotion for that problem, though ofp seems to access any windows- file related to the control interfaces.

    yep, i´ve read those threads about the mousewheel too... but the mousewhell works fine for me. the problem is, that ofp done something to my mouse AND keyboard. as i said before: the mouse jumps everysecond or so to the upper right corner of the desktop and the keyboard keeps pressing the F12 key.... this is a really serious problem for me, because i cant really use my computer. i figured out, that if i switch the mouse axis in ofp options and QUIT the game, the controls work fine..... ? i hope any programmer of ofp is reading this and can give me a clue, about how to fix this.

    yep, the problem is, that i dont really want to reinstall ofp... otherwise i couldnt get the control back over my mouse.... as i said, the mouse ONLY works correctly if i run ofp in the background, so it seems like ofp messed up some driver for the first time, alt tabbing was no problem, but after about one week, this problem appeared

    DO extend the buttstock! makes the weapon looks much cooler... and the normal m16 works fine, too... though it has a pretty big buttstock

    jeez! this is one awesome model! i cant wait to get my hands on it. the loadouts look pretty accurate, but those AA missiles are mounted at those wing- weapon- carriers, as far as i know. i hope you manage the thing about the ai bombing its own ass? and how many polys does it have by the way?

    nuke or not: if the plane drops those bombs from a dive, it would make no sence to add the f15 powerful bombs or even a nuke. why dont you guys try to use some entries from the a10lgb config to make the plane drop those bombs like the a10 does? if that´d work, you could even let the ai drop nukes, since version 1.85 allow planes to accept the "flyinheight" order. -greets pang

    yeah it looks cool so far. but you really wanna attach an nuclear bomb to that plane??? hmmmm... i dont know looking at this pic it seems like the missiles are too small. anyways í´m glad to hear, that things are working good. how does the ai handle dropping LGBs? because i think a plane- addon is like the half it, if the ai wont use it properly. -greets pang

    yay, those sound definately rock!!! i like those new body- hit and ground- hit sounds and pretty much everything else! but, there are in my eyes some things that may be improved: -the plane sound should be a bit, or even a pretty big bit , louder... sometimes you dont hear planes, that fly above you slowly. -the ground hit sounds could be a little bit louder, too. -the shoulder- fired- missiles- sound still is the same like the original one. maybe you can ask the guy, who made the "battlesounds- pack" for permission, as those sounds seem to be pretty accurate to me. -if there would be a way of making those bullet- sounds sound like they really would be cutting through the air, that´d be nice too. i´m really looking forward for version 1.2 of your soundpack and i hope i could help you, finding some things to improve. -greetigns pang

    first off: man, you´re working fast for a model with such a quality! due that i dont know about the real weapon loadouts and what would be possible, here are my suggestions anyway so, how about these: bomb- loadout lgb loadout heres an more overviewable site *click* well, i´d say that a pure AA weapons- config would be unneccessary for ofp, so maybe 2 or max 4 AA missiles for self- protection would be ok. three versions with: -maverick missiles and fueltanks (if thats accurate to rl) -freefall bombs with 2or 4 aa missiles -lgb loudout with a variety of 2or 3 different lgbs and fueltanks and maybe one version, that mixes those loadouts so, that´d be my suggestions, but as i said before: dunno a lot about the rl- loudout specs. looking forward for that plane and keep up the good work so far

    yay this plane looks very accurate to me! nice work so far. althought i think its kinda senceless to use such planes in ofp, i must confess: looking forward for it! you already got any ideas about the weapon-loadout? and what´d be really nice if it had laser-guided bombs: if you can handle it to make it drop them like the original a10 does, coz the way the tornado drops those bombs, looks not realistic at all, but its still a great plane.

    1.85 helo bug (?)

    hi guys, i´m really curious, if anybody experienced a similar problem: i experienced strange helicopter behaviour since version 1.85. here´s the plan: i got the really great "balistic addon studio- littlebird" pack, flew a bit around and passed those big peaks on nogova... and thats were i began wondering about the flight- model: whenever i pass a bigger hill, or descend in general, the nose of the chopper goes straight down and the helo is unmaneuverable for a while. i first thought this might appear because of the addon, so i tried the same stuff with the original blackhawk ----> everything worked well. then i tried the original oh58: the helo- behaviour was pretty similar to the BAS littlebird... this mostly happens if you push "y" key for descending, while flying pretty fast. another guy said, he´d experienced almost the same problem, but it´s almost the complete reverse... since 1.85 he finds it very difficult to keep hes height --> the choppers always want to climb... i´m expecting kinda "bug" with the masses or the weight of a chopper in 1.85 or maybe the engine tries to keep the chopper at the same height and gets confused, if the player descends at the same time, pressing "y". what do you think about this? got any familiar problems with helos in 1.85?
  25. hi folks, i wondered, if there was a setunitpos command for a unit to rest in knies, if he stopps. optional, is there a switchmove command for a soldier to permantely stay in knie position?
