I played MOH online last night, mainly to test my shiney new broadband, it was fun but I wish they'd turn the damn rocket launchers off, anyone using them in MP is just a lamer (IMO of course).... I would have enjoyed the game more if I knew the people I was playing with, it felt like there was no camaraderie, you launch MOH and 30 secs later you're in a game, great of course if you just want to let off steam and shoot people for 30 mins or whatever, but the thing about Opf where you have to wait a few mins you tend to chat with the people you're about to play with, then once you're in there you do feel a sense of camaraderie, even if you've only met these people for the first time like 5 mins ago

I'd never played co-op before on any game, then when I first tried Opf co-op I was totally sucked in, playing Dave's Spetnaz mission with a couple of good friends is still the best online gaming experience I've had by far

Never had any fade problems here, but then I have an original version of the game with very few usermade addons...... As for trainers, I really cannot see any need for them, at all.

In 1985 I would have been 12 then 13, happy memories but no it doesn't make me depressed, I have on occasion had an emotional reaction at times while playing the game which was curious, I remember playing the demo for the first time and seeing my "comrades" dying all around me, that felt very shocking, a reminder of the power of Opf, I also found the Red Hammer mission where the civilians were killed quite moving......

Yup exactly, what if a server decides to ban someone because they're all racist and the guy's black? (extreme example I know).........but that's the kind of problem that could possibly happen, we really can't take the word of other people unless they're people we know very very well.

Hmm have people not forgotten that only a few short months ago 3000 innocent people were deliberately murdered, not accidentally killed, not "collateral damage" but deliberately murdered. I for one fully back the actions of England and the USA, of course it's sad that civilians were killed in Afghanistan, but there is a big big difference from civilians being accidentally killed and an act of terrorism solely designed to deliberately murder as many innocent people as possible. Some say "ahhh but the USA's foreign policy" blah blah "political grievances" blah blah, and I say "so"? having a political grievance does not justify an act of terrorism, I'll say it again for those who missed it the first time act of terrorism solely designed to deliberately murder as many innocent people as possible. The Taliban were an evil regime who bastardised a fine religion, turning it into an implementation of their sick mentality. The Taliban are now gone, how many lives has that saved? How many lives have been saved by the massive amounts of food and other aid now being pumped into Afghanistan? But I guess none of that matters, nor do the 3000 lives of those innocent civilians, all people care about is being the "moral majority", well I for one say this, if I were killed in a terrorist act I would damn sure hope that my country would do whatever it takes to get those responsible and to stop such things happening again. Pick that apart all you like, I really don't care, all I think about is that day, what it felt like to be sat watching TV, dealing emotionally with such an horrendous, callous, evil act.
