    I've just a question (dunno if this is the right thread but never minds, I hope I'll get the answer anyway :p): is BIS making a new patch for ArmA 2 'vanilla' ? (something like "1.08" patch?) Thank you ;)
  3. As the title say: how do I complete that objective in Dogs of War? That's one of my objectives and when it disappears ("Objective incomplete") then it appears again. I should patrol a CDF area (the QG area). I'm there but now? What am I supposed to do? I kill all the respawning enemies but then? What should I do?

    The idea isn't bad but I think the recoil should be lighter. However I didn't try the new recoil + betapatch because I don't have OA

    You're welcome ;) The bottle neck is the CPU, infact the engine still needs a lot of optimizations
  8. ArmA 2 because I don't have OA yet. However IMO ArmA 2 testing would be the better choice because more users have A2 than OA However, suma, I think you must work above all on the CPU optimization because that's the performance killer in the SP campaign\when there are a lot of events and AI

    If you set it to 0 your CPU should work less. If you set it on 8 your CPU should work more so you have to know if your bottle neck is the CPU or the GPU: if it's the CPU set that value to 0, if it's the GPU, set that value to 8 (or less if you want)

    I still have Out of Memory problem even with 1.5gb of pagefile. I've updated this ticket http://dev-heaven.net/issues/11350 Like I've already said: looks like that \LAA flag is useless 1-My performance is still terrible: in Dogs of War mission if I try to be the commander and I go to High Command, just I can't play: if I click with my mouse to select team or if I'm dragging a square to select more teams, then I have the "answer" after 3\4 seconds. This lag is something terrible. 2-Ingame performance is still bad, even if I play without filters and with medium\high graphic details. You know what's my PC and yes: everything is updated 3-There are still a lot of AI bugs: for example if AI is in Danger Mode and you ask to your medic to heal someone; he'll take ages before doing so. 4-Some more improvements to AI driving skill would be appreciated. EDIT: I've set "0 prerendered frames" in my nVidia control panel...tomorrow I'll test ArmA 2 with this setting in order to see if there are any improvements... I wanna play this game in an enjoyable way...I'm waiting this moment from 1 year...

    What the...this betapatch looks like terrible: I can't even play: if I start a mission [or a benchmark] the game crashes almost immediately. Sure, I've removed my 512mb of pagefile but damnit: I have 4 (unusued I guess) gb of ram XD

    I had a similar problem but I couldn't take a screenshot because my screen was all black and I could resolve just using alt+f4. However, where can I find crashdumps?

    They just missed me with an AP rocket and those rockets are useless against infantry. AI should use HE rockets against enemy infantry to kill a lot of enemies with one shot...there's just one thing: often I don't want my teammates wasting rockets against infantry if there are tanks, brdm or other armored vehicles nearby...

    No, that makes no sense: if one of my soldiers use one rocket against ONE enemy soldier (just injuring) him I don't want this rocket-waste and yes, it's a bug. Enemy infantry shot me RPG rockets a lot of time just injuring me, so I was able to kill them. If they would have used their rifle, they could kill me.

    I've tried this patch with -cpuCount=2 and -exThreads=7, good performance but there's still some stuttering and I think AI management can be handled in a better way: in the single player campaign performance isn't excellent due to the effect [a lot of] AIs have on the CPU
